This story moves through different time periods and the characters, story setting, and everything else changes from generation to generation. The first generation is just a prologue.

Arata used his blessing to strengthen his hands to a degree where he could break a rock into two pieces with just a single flick. With these hands, Arata grabbed onto Tojo's neck and started strangling him.

Tojo faced his back against Tajima and the little girl as he tried to grab Arata from behind.
