Imaginary Friend

[It was almost daybreak when Daniel and Evelyn returned home. It's still unbelievable for them that they confessed to each other yesterday. Evelyn is really happy but she can't show it to Daniel cause he fell asleep after returning. ]


"Well, now that he is sleeping that reminds of his transformation into a human. I have to talk with him as soon as possible. Moreover, I have to start writing my new story. But what should I write??"


Why don't I write about me and Daniel? It would be great! A real story ...though nobody would believe it. Anyway, first start writing!!!!![With great enthusiasm Evelyn started her new story ]


[Evelyn got a call from Jordan for an urgent meeting. Well...it's not about work though. Most probably it is for his and Aven's marriage. Ugh!!! They are moving too first. On the other hand, Evelyn and Daniel are moving too slow.]


Evelyn-Ugh!!! It's been two days Daniel has been sleeping. When will we go on a date?


OH MY GOD!!!!! My heart would have popped out. This is so scary!


Evelyn- When did you wake up? You almost killed me now!!


Daniel- U-Oh, I-I'm sorry. Are you okay? Sit here.


Daniel-I won't.[He pulled Evelyn toward him and hugged her tightly] So, what was that date about?


Evelyn- No...nothing .. I was just talking about going out with you to spend some time together. We did once remember? Like that.


Daniel-Like that, really?[A sinister smile on Daniel's face]


Evelyn-Y...yeah. Like that. But you were sleeping, so...


Daniel-Hmm... I have been sleeping a lot these days. Don't know why but I feel so empty these days. How should I put it? Like I am vanishing gradually...somehow..like that...


This is the right time. I have to tell him about the transformation and about that man of his world. He is already feeling the changes. It's scary!


Evelyn-Dan... I have something to tell you. It's about...


Who is it now? Jordan? This guy!!! He is not my friend but my enemy. I am sure now.


Daniel- It's Jordan. Were you going to meet him?


Evelyn-Yeah. He is going to plan his and Aven's wedding with others. [Evelyn picked up the phone]What is it? No, I haven't left home. Dan?


I looked at Daniel, "He is asking you to join too. Do you wanna go?"


Evelyn- Are you feeling well? [I am mostly feeling insecurity about what he just said]


Daniel- I'm feeling well. If it's about their wedding, then we should go.


Evelyn-[On the phone] Yeah we are coming....what? Is it the time to ask this, idiot??? End the call. We are coming.


Evelyn-Nothing, he was just asking what were you doing in my house. That idiot!!


Evelyn- Why are you laughing? He is not an idiot, mostly a teaser. He perfectly knows why you are here. Anyway...Jane would've told him, but he was asking intentionally. Just to tease me!


Daniel-Don't be angry. We should get going. They are waiting for us. On the way, I will hear out what you had to say. Okay?[Smiling]


Evelyn-Hmmm...okay. Go get ready. Let me get my car out.[I have to tell him today anyhow. Otherwise, it will be too late.]


First Date
