Overseer Jophiel and Abel had just arrived back to the chamber as Ian and Gian-Luca were just starting their trials.

Jophiel noticed Gian-Luca to be in an improved state. "Gian-Luca's okay now?" He asked John.

"You could say that, but something rather phenomenal happened while you were gone."

"What happened?"

"Check," John waved Jophiel over. He showed him the statistics typed on his document and began to explain what had happened.

Meanwhile, Abel was observing his fellow experimentees as they tested out their abilities. He clenched his hands as he watched, wondering if he'd be able to get to the same level of experience.

Some time passed before both Ian and Gian-Luca finished their ability trials.

"You're up now," Jophiel told Abel. "Time to test your ability."

He walked over to Gian-Luca, pointing at a spot across from Abel. "There."

Gian-Luca made his way there, now standing a few meters in front of Abel.

"Considering the new information on your ability Gian-Luca, which I'm sure you might not even be aware of, we are going to test Abel's ability on you."

Gian-Luca looked at Jophiel worriedly. "What? What's Abel's ability?"

"Reflection," Abel spoke up.

"Yes, Abel should hypothetically be able to reflect your ability back towards you. Think of reflecting light off a mirror back into your eyes, it's like that," Jophiel said.

"So you mean I'm gonna be wiping my own memories?" Gian-Luca asked.

"You'll be using your ability from a distance instead of up close like usual, so the effect shouldn't be as severe," he walked over to Abel. "Gian-Luca will direct his ability towards you, so it's up to you to reflect it back."

Abel nodded, looking towards Gian-Luca.

Overseer Jophiel stepped back, watching the two. "Go."

Gian-Luca then lifted up his hand, clenching his palm, aimed at Abel's head.

In a quick reaction, Abel raised his arm in response. He aimed his hand back towards Gian-Luca's head.

"Reflection." Abel felt his palm pulsate.

Gian-Luca's head suddenly cocked back. His eyes had clouded, but following that his pupils completely whited out. His body fell backwards and he slammed onto the floor.

His head suddenly rose, his eyes wandering around the room. He seemed unaware of where he was, or what had happened. Before Gian-Luca could speak, Jophiel spoke aloud, "Mark that as successful John."

Overseer Jophiel then turned his head towards Ian.

"No," he immediately said. "I am not gonna reflect my own ability back towards me," Ian turned away.

Jophiel sighed, "Well nonetheless," he turned to Abel; "Your ability seems to be successful."
