{ PRESENT DAY | 1 MONTH AFTER THE JENZAYA EXTINCTION }
In one district, sirens were blaring. A collaborative robbery was happening at a local bank, run by revolutionaries who revolted against the government by attempting to steal their funds directly. In another district, smoke fumed from the roof of a Nexus building—a governmental structure used to house legislatures. It'd been set aflame by rebels with malintent to destroy the municipal control in their district. In one more district, authorities held their ground against an aggressive riot that pushed against the defenses in a crowded street. The violent demonstration was to display the Cardinal Nexus' complete loss of control over the masses.
Havoc had scattered across the country.
"DISMANTLE THE NEXUS!!!" People shoved against the riot shields, while ones further in the back heaved rubble at the authorities. Chaos pursuited when an individual was able to tackle down one of the enforcers, bringing instant motivation to everyone else.
"DISMANTLE THE NEXUS!" Everyone charged forwards. The tides changed in favor of the rebels, and soon, the defenses were completely overthrown.
{ LIVE | RIOT HAPPENING IN CRETE DISTRICT AS WE SPEAK }
Broadcasts as such were being played everywhere, on every billboard, and every screen. Day in, day out, the sun continued to shine light on what was becoming the downfall of a society, all birthed by the tragic thousand deaths of Jenzaya District.
By now, the generic citizen had completely lost hope in the government, and had faith solely in the revolution they abided by. The revolution was formed off the resentment towards the Cardinal Nexus for its irresponsibility in the matters involving Jenzaya's Extinction. There were no more followers of a "higher power" such as the government or the Seven Virtues. Instead, everyone now fended for themselves, as their trust in security from danger was broken. Society at this point had become a game of survival; to flight or to flight, and for those who stood up to defend themselves from whatever dangers lurked, would flourish in the long-coming.
"DISMANTLE THE NEXUS," was the slogan of the street. It fueled the motivations of everyone that took part in the revolutionary acts. All their actions were done to completely oppose the Cardinal Nexus, showing that in their lack of responsibility as a government came colossal consequences. Part of this revolt was also a sub-division of hatred spared specifically for the Seven Virtues. People within this belief felt betrayed by the hope they were pulled into by having faith in the advertised guardians of society, only to see that entire image crumble under the wreckage of Jenzaya's buildings. When thousands of innocent lives died to the disaster, people held the Virtues accountable for their deaths. They all believed that the Virtues should have been there to save the people, but they weren't. So to avenge the lives that collapsed under rubble and debris, they took on the role as protectors of society into their own hands, completely abolishing the idea of the Seven Virtues, which in turn evolved the country's people into constant states of hunger for power.
With this condition now established, it was natural that within the revolution came a division in ideologies. People all shared hatred for the Cardinal Nexus, but people differed in their approaches to demonstrate these emotions. In given time, there was soon great conflict among the rights and wrongs of certain beliefs, separating groups of individuals to reside within separate factions. With the country being placed into a state of warfare between divided groups, blood was shed, and terror was induced. Among the fear of atrocities that lurked in the dark, were now atrocities of their own coming to light with the nation that now had no control over its residents.
People hated the higher powers, but people also hated each other. The worst case-scenario had come to be for the country and its peace. Such a concept dwindled as the flames in people's hearts burst with rage. The entire world watched as these people descended into madness.
The Sin of Wrath compelled them.

"Whatever we may desire?"
"Sponsored by Initiate Co.? This must be legit then…"
"We can get anything we want as long as we're the last one standing? Easy!"
People saw the opportunity at power to be seized. One after another, civilians, both weak and strong, both powerful and powerless, all took to the website and began registering their lives away. While some people struggled and were in need of more strength to stand up to enemies, others were already strong and seeked excessively more power. Greed clutched everyone's ankles, and as they failed to notice this, they all continued to blindly seek out their desires.
"Power, huh?" A particular individual mumbled in the darkness. He leaned against a cold brick wall, observing the broadcast from a dark distance. Coming to specific realizations, he gritted his teeth, and gripped his blue handles tightly. The sharp edges of both his knife and hatchet shone reflections of the fire that burned in his heart.
"I'll definitely find you there…"
