My Lucky

"Slender man?" Maynard questioned again, he walked to where the balcony metallic rails were and leaned on them, he looked down at the woods before slowly turning to look at Lucky whose eyes were glued on him. This was hard to believe. He had heard of Slender man's stories when he was a kid but he had thought of them as myths and nothing else.

He had never met a slender man face to face but now, hearing that the man actually existed within his territory was quite depressing. How he was never aware of the man's presence in his territory was even more stressing because that meant trouble.

"Yes. Slender man!" Replied Lucky. Taking a step closer towards Maynard, with his hands in the pockets of the leather jacket he wore.

"How- how did you know?" Inquired Maynard, his eyes narrowed on Lucky. How had Lucky known that Slender man was in this town whereas he knew nothing about it?
