My Lucky

"What took you so long from coming?" Maynard asked. "I even thought that you had given up on the search for your girlfriend," he added as he looked at Lucky who was now a metre away from him.

There was no way that he was going to tell him that members of his clan had been thrown out thus he had to help them, he had been injured by his father, which had him unconscious and thanks to Hood he was now here temporary healed... Geez! a lot had happened ever since he left this place that even if he sat down to narrate it all, it would take hours to finish the story up.

"And how sure are you that I never stepped foot back here again?" Lucky asked.

Maynard smiled,"Simple! I had my men round and out the city.. none of them saw you unless you tell me that you have the powers of invisibility now,"

"Though I wish I had," he wanted to add that statement but kept it to himself.
