As she flapped her wings, they became black.

"Mom? What exactly did you do to yourself?" Mrs Wilson did not respond to Ambrose's question; instead, she lunged at her, her claws extended, ready to dig into the girl's skin.

Daniel sprang to his feet and shoved Ambrose to the ground, both of them falling.

Hamlin and Aisha had immediately stepped to the side to dodge the onslaught as well.

Camryn was taken aback, as he had not anticipated such a thing to happen.

Ambrose pushed herself up from the ground with the assistance of Daniel, who offered her a helping hand.

"What's the matter with your mother? Why is she attempting to harm us? You, in particular?" Daniel was the one who inquired.

"I do not know; I'm just as surprised as you!" Daniel shifted his head so that he could see Ambrose exclaim as she gazed in the direction where her mother had flown to.

Camryn inquired, "What is happening on here?"
