My Lucky

"You were meant to meet Lucky a couple of weeks ago." Lilith made a comment.

"What occurred?" She inquired as she approached carefully towards Hood, who was sat behind the enormous desk, flipping through a few scrolls on top of the table.

He was at his office, and there were numerous files that a divinity buddy had requested him to assist go over, and he couldn't say no to the deity's request.

"Plans changed." Hood responded. He didn't bother glancing at her; his gaze was locked on the scroll in his hands.

"What was so critical that you had to adjust your plans?" Lilith inquired, her finely clipped brows furrowed at the man she was staring at.

Hood sighed again as he dropped the scroll he had been reading, on top of the table and raised his hands to look up at her.

"Can't you see what I'm doing?" He asked.

"Lucky should be your priority right now, not these dirty old scrolls." Lilith remarked.
