Chapter-21:Hide and Seek

[Sarah Pov]

I woke up and got freshen up and went out of my room

"Ahhhhhh" I shouted scared of what I saw

"Stacy you scared me" I told her

"Why?" She asked me

"Wait" I said and went inside and brought the mirror and showed her face in the face

"Ahhhhh who is she?" She asked

"Shut up. why did you wake up?" I asked her

"I was talking to my boyfriend" she said while stretching

"The whole night ?" I asked her not believing what I heard.

"Now go. a car is waiting for you" she told me

"What??" I asked her not getting the point

" Dumb ass, how did you except to go to XXXX place without a car?" She asked me

"Wow Stacy, you started being responsible" I told her

"Shut up and leave he will wait for you at the parking lot until you finish" she said and went back to her room

"Thank you " I shouted back

I came down and saw the similar car and the driver that picked me up last night

On the way, the driver kept on talking to me but I couldn't understand a single word so, I kept on saying nae

the second Korean word that I learned

nae means yes

At last, I reached the place at 1:45 am and I asked him to wait at the parking lot while I walked towards the starting point of the trail. The distance was a lot.

Good I was on time

I hate being late. I was always on time until Stacy had to break my record.

It was very dark and the cold was killing me but I can see a few teenagers in a group of 7 to 9 started climbing the hiking path.

I have been waiting for 20 min but still no sign of them

Many people are coming and started hiking whereas me still standing at the starting line waiting for them

I was thinking of all the possibilities that there may be late:

Maybe they didn't wake up as it was early

Maybe there are on their way

Maybe I was late

Maybe they left without me

After waiting for 25min. I took out my mobile to try calling them

Then I realized that I never noted down their phone number

I feel so stupid for not asking for their number

Now, how?

I was thinking about what to do now?

Meanwhile, 2 men approached me and tried to talk to me

I can smell the alcohol from them.so I tried to avoid them but those people followed me wherever I go

I was looking all around with the hope to find someone to help me. There was no sign of human near my eyesight

I took out my phone to call Stacy but one of them scratched my phone and throw it far away

And other hold my jacket and trying to pull me closer to kiss me

Then I understand what these people gonna do to me

I look around to find anything in my reach or find any person but I couldn't find any, to my luck

even the parking lot is far from where I am. it was very hard for the driver to listen to my shout.

And both of them started dragging me towards the dark side of the bushes

[Justin pov]

God, why couldn't I sleep? I said this nth time after trying all the ways to convince myself to sleep.

But that voice recorder kept on dancing in my mind

Finally, I gave up and sat on the bed and surprised to see it was 1:25 am

I am still debating whether should I return it to her or not

Unknowingly in next five minutes I got dressed up and slowly started tiptoeing towards the kitchen while tightening the grip which was holding voice recorder with the fear that brothers might wake up

I drank some water and came out of the house and turned on my car and drove to the hiking place

It was not that far from our place it takes only 30 min to reach. But as it was dark I went into the wrong route and I reached the destination in 45 min

I parked the car a little far from the hiking spot and got down my car and walked towards the hiking entrance and I spotted her wearing a heavy padded jacket with a scarf and a pom hat. immediately, I hid behind the tree

It was very clear that she is waiting for us.

Justin this is it, go to her then give her voice recorder and go home.

That's it.it's easy.

I don't know how long I have been waiting and watching her

After a long self debate, I decided to go and step forward and talk to her like a man

[Caleb Pov]

I lost the video game again. How stupid of me, I might be the only person who keeps on loosing at the earlier level of the game. Thinking I should ask Xavier or Justin for help I woke up from my chair.

Then the angel side of me reminded me that they might be sleeping but the evil side of me responded: "do you care?"

Correct .why do I care?

So I came out of my room and saw kitchen lights were turned on

Wow, what was that thief?

Or is it sasaeng

Or wait did I tell any girl our house password? Then these 4 people will kill me.

To be safe I took the baseball from my room and entered the kitchen and now all my thinking and preparation was wasted

Because it was not even an ordinary person it was Xavier

And most important part was I caught him eating Eros brother Chocolate cake

As soon as I entered a little further into the kitchen our eyes met and he immediately tried to hide it.

"I saw it. Take it out.so it was you all the time who is eating his chocolate cake" I told him while laughing

" No it was not me all the time .it was my first time .i was so hungry and there was nothing in the kitchen not even ramen and I discovered this " he said while showing the cake that he hided

"Bro," I said

"Believe me Caleb, it was not me who is eating brother's cake" he told me

"I know bro. because it's me" I told him

He gave me a mean look and about to say something but we heard some footsteps down the stairs

"Eros" we both said at the same time and quickly turned off the lights and hid below the table

Due to our recent experiment in the kitchen today, the kitchen was still a mess

The steps are nearing us but Xavier continued eating cake

"What are you doing bro?" I whispered to him

"However he gonna find out so" he said out loud

"Are you out of your mind?" I said and closed his mouth with my hand.

As soon as the person entered the kitchen I was scared to death because

"It was Justin" I whispered to Xavier bro while still closing his mouth with my hand

Justin is very dangerous. He always finds fun in booking us or teasing us. But why did he dress up while sleeping?

I can never understand him

He came into the kitchen, opened the fridge and drank some water. So I was expecting he would go back to his room.

But surprisingly he started tiptoeing but his tiptoeing was loud. Which increased my curiosity

So, I bent over(sitting to sleeping position ) under the dining table as I was too focused on Justin. I forgot that I dragged Xavier bro along with me.

My gaze followed where Justin was going .He slowly opened the main door and after a few seconds, I heard the engine ignition sound.

"Bro, did you see that? Justin just sneaked out of the house" I said

But he not speaking anything

"Hyung" I called him again but no response

What's wrong with him

So I came out from under the dining table and turned on kitchen lights and I couldn't stop laughing at his face because a few seconds ago when I dragged him under the table, the cake that he was holding fell on his face

"Hyung" I called him between the laughter

"Let's go and tell elders" I said and dragged him

"wait, let me wash my face first" Xavier said

I was so eager to book Justin that I didn't hear what he was trying to tell me.

I dragged him to the Aaron brother room

"Bro bro wake up " I said while shaking. he was still half asleep but I dragged him downstairs towards eros bro room

I literally lifted him with my forearms and put in the car and in next 5min we started following Justin

I was scared that I would miss Justin so I drove outside our community home as fast and furious.

But I couldn't find where he was.

Shit, I missed him. I was never disappointed like this in my life before.

meanwhile, Xavier who sat in the front seat beside me made eye contact with the Aaron who is sitting in the back seat

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh" Aaron shouted which made all of us startled.

but eros was still sound asleep

"Hyung it's me" Xavier said

"What's that on your face?"Aaron asked

"Long story" I said

"What the hell was going on? Why did you both drag us? First of all Xavier please wipe your face"Aaron asked in a panic

"Hyung, we missed him"i told him

"Missed whom?" he asked me while looking outside the window and suddenly his pupils got bigger and he shouted

"OOOOOOOMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGG"

This time not only us but Eros woke up.

"Woww why I was in the car?"Eros asked

"Caleb just drive the car"Aaron shouted

"where ?" I asked him

"Just follow my directions take right and go straight" he shouted again

"Hyung but why are you shouting?" I shouted back while turning right as he told

"Why everyone is shouting?"Xavier shouted and looked back

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"Eros shouted when he saw Xavier

"Xavier wipe your face and Caleb take left faster" Aaron said to me

"yay yay I know you all decided to murder me that's why you are kidnapping me"Eros said

after hearing what he said it made me, Xavier and Aaron look at him

"look forward" Eros shouted

"Hyung, whom we are following?" I asked Aaron

"Just follow my instructions, don't distract me we will miss him" Aaron said

"Hyung tell us we will help you" Eros said

"Can you see that? "Aaron said while pointing at something outside the window

"Yes"Eros said

"Yes" Xavier said

"Where? I cannot see" I said while turning back

"Look forward pabo yaa"Eros shouted

[Pabo meaning Idiot]

After that, for the next few minutes, I have been following Aaron bro instructions not knowing who I am following.
