The day was young and the morning was bright, I went to wake up my little raven from her slumber. I let her sleep in my bed for the night to relax her mind and be comfortable. Coming close to my bedroom I got excited to see my raven up and moving, with force I opened the door which slammed against the wall.
"Come on my raven it's time to eat then it's right to the training field." I said with a grin on my face. This startling her to the point she fell out of the bed with a small yelp being released from her. The smile never left my face as I went to the wardrobe that I had filled with nice dresses for my raven. I looked through and found a pretty silky pink dress. Placing it down on the bed thinking my raven would look great in this dress, but she looked at me with an Are you serious face
"I can dress myself you know," she said. I guess she wasn't a fan of pink
"Alright I tried to help but go ahead you're a big girl." I was a little upset. I won't see her in the cute gown. Sighing I walked to the door knowing she didn't want me in the room when she began to change.
"When you're done come to the dining room, it's on the first floor all the way to the right side of the building" I said then left the room, closing the door behind myself. I just stand at the door lost in space. I shook my head and headed down to the kitchen to tell them to start making the human food for my raven. Walking to the dining room I sat at the head of the table in my normal spot looking through my schedule for today. The door opened making a loud creaking noise. I looked over at my raven who stood at the door. My eyes instantly widened at the sight of her, I let out a whistle.
"Damn, don't you look good," I said, smirking and leaning on my arm that rested on the table. She blushed and took her seat on my right side.
"Thank you Matthew" she stated.
"I know you never had our food down here so I had my chef cook you a human meal." I stated to my raven as I leaned back against the chair. I saw her do a small nod as we waited for the food to come. The food came after a few minutes, her face lit up when she saw the stack of pancakes, she instantly dug in when it was placed in front of her. My plate being a rare dish that the Greeks would make and sacrifice to me back in ancient times. Magikó Skorpió was a spicy crustaceans that lived in volcanic places. The total opposite of its cousin the sea scorpion. Watching Alex devour her food I let out a soft chuckled as she licked her lips of the syrup.
"So today you will be training with one of my generals Agaliarept. He is the head general of my army and one of my men in the round table." I said after swallowing what I had in my mouth.
"Agalia-what?" she asked
"Agaliarept he's the general of hell. He's a pretty nice guy when you meet him just don't make him mad if I were you" I warned. She nodded and went back to eating. The doors to the dining room opened and my friend Agaliarept stood there. I can see my raven getting intimidated instantly.
"Ah Agaliarept welcome you hungry we just started the human meal breakfast." I said standing up and giving him one of those bro hugs that is also a handshake.
"No thank you my lord I had eaten before coming to your estate." Agaliarept spoke in a raspy voice, a true commanding voice. I hear Alex swallowed her food loudly as a sign of intimidation. "So this must be your right hand man in charge." Agaliarept said walking over to her. She stood up and stuck out her hand to shake his.
"Hello I'm Alex Kako it's nice to meet you sir Agaliarept" She said shaking his hand.
"My my aren't you a small little thing," he chuckled walking around her, taking in her image. I growled in my head not liking his circle like a predator circling its prey.
"This should truly be interesting training you, so my lord what should we start with her first?" he continued now walking back to me.
"Well what would you have her start with in general?" I asked sipping the unholy drink I received with my meal.
"I would have her start with hand to hand combat and flying, but we don't want to overwhelm the poor girl." Agaliarept said looking back at her as she takes her seat back at the table.
"We'll start with flying for today." I state, sitting back down next to my raven.
"I will set up the arena my lord," Agaliarept said, bowing then leaving at once.
"My raven I have a meeting with the generals of the east eiles of hell which will end after human lunch time. Then I will come see how you're doing with training, and when you're done we will come back for the time of human dinner." I said to her as I set an alarm on my watch. She nodded, as I can see her staring off happily with a small smile on her face.
"Are you done with your food raven?" I asked her which caused her to jump slightly as my voice brought her back from her day dream.
"Y-yes I am." she said softly and stood up ready to clean her plate.
"No need for the maids will wash the dishes." I state reading her mind again like I did in the past. Standing up to walk to the door I get started for my day.
"Come we don't want to keep Agaliarept waiting." I called out to her while looking at my watch. She ran up to me to keep up with my pace as I began to walk towards the arena. Her wings opened a bit to keep herself balanced while doing the slow jog next to me. We walked in silence all the way there, when we entered the ground where Alex will be training for most of the month her mouth hung open in amazement. Agaliarept was there setting up weapons, mats, and other things that might help her throughout today.
"Welcome my lord and master Alex," Agaliarept bowed at us in respect.
"Thank you and good luck to both of you. I would stay but I must take my leave now." I state while vanishing in a mist leaving my raven and Agaliarept together. I reappeared in the meeting hall that was still empty. It was good that I was early which allowed me to look over today's notes and important documents and claims. While I waited I looked at the patterns of the portals that have been opening to see the connection between them all.
Taking my seat at the round table, my notes and everything shows up on the table like a trigger of me sitting down. The first to come in was one of my chief commanders Abaddon and his servant Abigar who can give anyone their fortune and military advice. They took their seats as more generals, and commanders filed into the room each mumbling to each other about their ideas and opinions on the topic at hand. Abaddon stood up and began to speak.
"Newly developed creatures and demonic animals are escaping the depths of hell and going to the human world. Portals and gates have been opening all over the Eastern side of the Isles and are now spreading to the northern border. We need to go up to the surface and find the creatures before they wreak havoc and expose up to the earthlings. This can not go on any longer, my team can't keep up and I don't have enough soldiers to close all the portals and track down the creatures." he said frustrated and angered.
"What has escaped so far?" I asked looking through the file of all the eastern creatures.
"Just a few class three Acid Toads and a class four Timber Bear. We have soldiers scattered around the eastern isle trying to keep the portals close." Abigar said with a quiet tone, he's not one to raise his voice.
"They have been roaming in the northern forests of South America so far they have not come into contact with any humans but they are getting close to a small village along a river. Is your servant ready to take on the task we can't waste anymore time on the subject." He continued talking.
"Yeah that's right you found a right hand man to help with these occurrences." Abaddon said in an amused tone of voice, like he was mocking my power and choice of person.
"Yes, I have." I said proudly leaning back into the chair I was sitting in. I knew my raven would serve me well and would do my bidding at a snap of my finger. Abaddon glared at me trying to read my face to see if I was lying or bluffing.
"So where is this great powerful warrior you been telling us all about for the past sixteen years at, wouldn't he have to be here to help us." He droned on trying to push me over the edge, but I kept my cool.
"She is in training as of now with my lead general back at the arena." I emphasized on the girl part dragging out the word 'she' to get it across to the stubborn, hard headed, ego loving Abaddon. There were a few Snickers and chuckles in the room from the others but, I didn't care about that, the only one I did was Abaddon hysterical laugh that took it over the top and was too much for everything.
"This warrior is a little human girl! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!" He didn't stop and it began to irritate me to no end. I gritted my teeth to stop myself from lashing out at him. Everyone but him started to back away quickly feeling my dark presents of anger for the near demon that sat across from me.
"I can break her with my finger." He continued laughing harder. I snapped and pinned him to the wall by his throat. He let out a choked breath and sound.
"Are you doubting my decision and judgement!" I yelled at him as I stared him down with anger.
"N-no...mmhg...sir.." Abaddon wheezed out trying to get a breath of air back into his lungs. I dropped him to the ground.
"Good then we're done here." I state grabbing the documents from everyone with the snap of my finger and heads to the door.
"Wait we didn't finish the meeting." Abigar said in his soft tone of voice again.
"I said. We're done." I closed the meeting doors behind me after that. Angered I stormed outside needing to clear my head I began to walk back towards the arena. Anger just continued to boil in me the closer I got to the arena, I hoped my raven would help me calm down. I let out a deep growl, I couldn't let my anger get to me but it got harder with each step I took.
The arena came into view and I quickly walked but not without bits of my horns and fangs coming out when I lost control. Entering the old building I heard a loud scream then a lot of force knocked me to the ground. I groaned and looked at the new weight that sat upon my chest, it was my little raven in all of her beauty. Her head laid by my neck as she groaned, her eyes were closed when she began to sit up. Her weight now rested on my stomach, my raven opened her beautiful eyes and she stared down at me surprised that I was the thing she ran into. I smirked and chuckled.
"You really can't resist me can you my raven."
