He looks at me smiling," as much as Adriel hates you, he couldn't do it, maybe partly you're human or other reasons, and if you're thinking about Jacob's the youngest in our circle, he tends to be a lot free especially with the persona as Artemis's son."

Dex was smiling ear to ear as he realises how she somehow cares about Adriel, at last.

"He'll do stupid stuff without thinking, and he would be able to get away because he's the youngest. But despite all the quarrel and death threats Adriel likes to throw he wouldn't do it, Jacob's been in Adriel's wings all the time,' Dex hums.

"So Adriel hating Jacob is saying he hates his self," he laughs.

"I don't think I'll even be surprised if Jacob was the reason Adriel didn't turn evil I mean Jacob was the one who Adriel held before returning.''

''What?''

''Yeah... you wouldn't believe it if I told you that Jacob was held by Adriel when he returns before the war happens,' he recalls the incident.

" It was still vivid in my mind how Adriel held Jacob in his hold emerging from the fire that engulfs him, and I don't even know how Jacob manage to be there in the first place I thought Artemis had him but who would though he was in the demigods hold, he was young when Adriel held him.' Hoseok smiles at the memory.

"Still thinks Artemis is the worst mother ever, but couldn't help to look at our parents, so it was something not surprising." He continues.

''That's why I don't think Adriel has the guts to hate him, overprotective perhaps, he'll throw death threats as a form of his love.''

''But they were fighting before, and if they didn't fight, Adriel would never be hurt.'' I frown at how many days I was guilty of the incident.

''Again thy, you and Jacob touch a very touchy subject, Moira is someone none of us would like to talk about to Adriel I bet none of us knows what happens.' He shrugged and smiles yet again.

"I was even surprised that Jacob had said something like that to agitate Adriel until their fighting; it was a first. But a first for everything at least we knew where to stop."

Dex smiles once again, '' besides It wasn't the right time thy, Adriel, his one of the most composed person you could find not only he's the demigod of the underworld how he acts and thinks he could manage it. He was matured than any of us, younger than Ramses but he knows stuff, Whatever you guys were arguing about you must have triggered something.'

She remembers how she did bring up about the mysterious name that has lingered in the demigods' household.

''Was it because I mention her...'' she wonders again feeling a bit guilty.

''Don't tell me you mention about,'' Dex looks around cautiously and signal me to come closer. As I lean a little, he suddenly flicks my forehead and winces as I look at him and muster up a deadly glare.

''Was that necessary to do, Dex.''

I glare at the smiling man,'' I'm sorry it's just it's better if you don't speak about her at all in here,'' he giggles,'' or any other place, thy.''

''Dex...'' I whine.

''huh...'' I deadpanned at Dex mention.

You should be thankful because your demigod slash best friend is a softie for such a human-like.' Dex coos or more likely to flirt with you as he points himself,'' you won't get a friend like me anymore, thy.''

I roll my eyes at the demigod who was dancing and moving his body in the hope that I would finally give in and of course, I stop pestering him.

"Well, I'm glad there's only one of you." I snicker, and he stops to look at me as I continue.

''Well... if you insist that I don't ask anyone then how about I ask you?'' our eyes meet and I gave Dex a questionable gaze and an innocent smile as Dex try to step back.

''I mean- since I guess since no one is willing to tell me shouldn't you tell me Dex since you already told me a lot?' my eyes flutter at Hoseok accusing stare.

Then somehow he manages to float his way up from the stool he was sitting on and float his way out of the kitchen.

Figuring he was going to run away before I ask a further question when you feel a swoosh pass through you and realise indeed Hoseok has abandoned in the kitchen.

That demigod will be the death of me, you thought.
