Rejection

I took a deep breath as I look at him,'' but I don't like you like that... cross that I don't even know what my feelings are right now. I don't know how to feel about this situation. all of this is going too fast, and I'm here missing home, and I don't know where I am...'' I was close to breaking down in front of him, and This is something I've never done before.

I swear I'm not the kind to cry and let out tears in front of someone, I've learned that the hard way that no one cares of your sob stories but a single drop or tears had slid down my cheeks and as my tears slid down Jacob's eyes widen and the soften. It was unusual for him to see someone so sensitive better again; he had never seen her break down like this; it surprises him.

He realises that it might be too fast to ask her about her feelings. It was inconsiderate of him to think about his sense and not hers. He was so used to seeing people so blunt and to the point he didn't know that it was a problem if he had confessed his feelings and he had hope that she would return those feelings.

It'll be more challenging than that, mostly since she out of her comfort zone the last think on her mind would be his feelings.

She's not going to be thinking about her love life as she was fighting for her life, he knows that if he kicked out of Olympus, he would be scared too.

Remembering her state, he was about to engulf her into a big hug, but he knows better not to do anything for now. So instead he lifts his right hands as he pats her back soothingly as her tiny sobs poured down.

It was the least he could do since he never was put in this situation.

''I'm sorry... I don't know how I'm like this. It was not fair in your part if I force you into anything but so that you know, you mean a lot to me and I don't want to burden you with my feeling until we can take care of this mess, I'll stay away alright?'' Jacob retracted his hand unwillingly from her as he gives her a soothingly smile, a smile that said 'take your time.'

''We're almost there... if I'm correct the valley is up ahead in those gates, and I could entangle the vines then we could search, I promise not to hold your hands but promise me you'll stay beside me, as happy as the valley is I can't promise if stray souls try to catch you.'' He looks at her as she nods an okay for him he nodded too and when ahead, leaving her behind but not far enough where he couldn't protect her.

This situation is bit embarrassing, and I thought as I wiped my tears a bit, they said it was better to let out your feelings and not bundle it up in the bottle so taking a deep breath and usher him to continue walking as I sort out my feelings.

This situation is not comfortable; the first thing I thought I would do as I got here is to go back home. I didn't know I would be confused on the two demigods, they had occupied my mind, and it's killing me, somehow when looking at the two, their different personality is making it difficult for me.

She was out of space when suddenly, a piercing scream interrupted their silent thoughts.

Alerting Jacob also as he held her, and this time she doesn't mind as it was better to stick together then die alone like this.

''What is that?'' a sudden piercing sounds yet again resonates throughout the place, and Jacob looks alert as he finds the source of the sound, it was on the south.

''I'm not sure... but this the border of the creeks, anything could be from there,'' he shrugs but quietly puts her beside him, afraid that something might catch on her.

''Why... what's out there.''

''When Kronos was vanquished so did his minions, they were killed by the 3 Gods and some of them escape to the creeks since they don't classify as monster or goddess or god, any at all to be honest... they are roaming free, but they don't usually come out, their afraid someone might catch them and killed them.''

''So anything could be out there, anything...''

''Yeah... I guess'' he responded once more.

''Come on thy...' Jacob starts dragging her with him

After walking a bit further, they stood in front of the giant gate as Jacob puts his palm in the vines and his eyes started to shine and the vines started to unbind themselves.

As the gates creaked open, I unconsciously held Jacob's robe as I was a bit sceptical with the whole place. Still, I'm glad and relief this time as Jacob held my hands,'' don't worry it might look scary, but you'll love it inside, if you're afraid then have my robe and close your eyes until I tell you to open them alright?'' nodding my head.

Her eyes close as Jacob manoeuvre her hands into his robes as she held them tightly and heard Jacob chuckling at how scared she was, he snickers just a moment ago they was fighting about holding hands. But he was not surprised, the valley of the dead is scary and then beautiful at the same time, without wasting any more time he started leading them inside the place.

''You'll love it there thy...'' he started to tell her,'' it's called the valley of the death, but I never thought of it as gloomy at all, you'll love living here for the rest of your life.''

''Oh?'' suddenly interested on how lovely Jacob had described of the place,' then what exactly is the site Jac?' hearing his nickname come out from her mouth made Jacob's check red. Still, he doesn't have to worry about her teasing as her eyes were close, even in this current state she was still beautiful as ever, he looks at Amethyst a bit longer.

''Jacob?'' I ask suddenly snapping Jacob out of his daydream.

''Right... it's the land of the remember all of the humans and souls who have died go there as long as they remember those before them, no sadness is present," He remembers the place," every day is a party there thy. Its rule by the god name Dionysus, the god of wine-maker, Uncle Dion is a bit wild if you meet him, don't be to surprise.'

''Is he nice?'' I asked, hopefully.
