Dropping through the air like fallen angels, each of the individual fighters was given a deceleration pack which was designed for the express purpose of breaking their fall into the Maze, though the usage of powers are allowed the moment they have exited the plane in order to accelerate their fall or break even further in order to travel away from their drop off line.

The reason that it is called a drop offline, not a drop off point is that the plane doors are open as it flew over the entirety of the maze in a diagonal fashion, and each of the fighters has a choice to decide when they are jumping off, and hence which part of the maze they will be landing in.

'And this is totally not like a battle royale game or something, is it, Gore?' Aggress said, gently tuning the audio settings on the mic according to the suggestions of the production team, 'and as the fighters are dropped all throughout the map, the Seventh Tournament of Maze Runners begins right NOW!'
