There goes my heart

Pethant felt as if the boulder of Sisyphus was pressed over his chest, his body being pinned into an impossible position, yet there was no room to yield, but only press forward with everything he has.

Everything's black around him, and yet he can still see the hint of light from random white cracks in the pitch black.

'Argh...argh...' A light painful moan came from behind him, and he turned around to see a pair of red LEDs from the cameras held by Tunneller before it flopped onto the ground as he finally freed his leg from the floor that trapped him.

'I thought I was dead.' Pethant said honestly.

'Either we were both dead, or something, you managed to hold your own against her attack...' Tunneller said, his voice coarse and trembling though Pethant can tell he is trying his best to stay calm and collected, 'Either way, I have not seen her E3 before. Have you?'
