The Infiltration Part 2

Blast's attack left a crater on the floor. Stephanie, Maltoise, and Leonardo dodged it just in time.

"We're wrong," Stephanie said in horror. She looked at the crater, the ground that was still smoking because of Blast's attack.

"She's not losing. She's getting bored."

Maltoise sighed. "I noticed. If she really wanted us to die, she would have sooner."

"Weak," Leonardo said. He roared loudly, shaking the entire gymnasium. "You let your emotions show in front of the enemy? And you call yourselves Exorcists."

He lunged for Blast, trying to rip her head off. The woman was leaping to avoid Leonardo with a smirk in her lips. She was starting to enjoy the fight now that Leonardo was more vicious.

"He's right," Stephanie said. "If we get scared that easily, then we're not Exorcists." She rotated her weapon before shooting it towards Blast. Blast saw the attack, blocking it with one of her tails while the other dealt with Leonardo.

Maltoise dashed towards the occupied Blast, attacking her from behind. Blast felt the heavy man. She leaped and pointed her palms at Maltoise.

"Flames of the–"

"Serpent's Control!"

The chain weapon swerved in the air, wrapping itself around Blast and throwing her. Her body crashed through the gymnasium's walls.

Leonardo appeared above her in human form, lifting his hands and slamming it to Blast's body. Blast's fall was like a meteor falling to the ground. It was fast and destructive. There was a crater where Blast fell.

"I will kill you!" she yelled and pointed her palm at them. The fire this time held more anger. It blazed like the sun.

Morris's body hit a tree after he blocked an attack from the 666. It was curious why he was the only one getting counterattacks while the 666 only blocked Devin's. It was as if he didn't want Morris to interfere and kept on pushing him away.

It has been 4 minutes since Devin was in his Reverence form and disappeared to fight the 666. Meaning, he was almost way past his limit. Being possessed meant more power for Devin but he felt like a different person.

Morris looked around, waiting for help. Their arena was the farthest from all others, so the reinforcements were taking the time. Even for Liu, it would take him at least 2 minutes to get here.

Morris was about to stand up when the 666 appeared in front of him. It raised its scythe and struck it towards the boy.

Luckily, Morris blocked the attack. He was pushing his own limits, trying to hold off the powerful strike that has landed on him. His knees began to weaken, kneeling in one knee as his energy depleted.

The scythe was retracted when the 666 blocked Devin's surprise attack behind him.

"Don't you dare," Devin said and grinned at Morris. "I'm back."

He continued his swift slashes while the 666 blocking all of them. Their clashing of weapons led them to the middle of the clearing. Morris dashed towards them and helped Devin.

Morris assumed an offensive stance. He wasn't sure if he still has some energy but what he had should be enough.

Saving up motion, Morris was about to use his Ark when a strike out of nowhere hit him. A loud clank was heard when a zweihander fell along with a pair of arms.

The forest was silent before a deafening scream echoed throughout it. Morris's arms were cut off. The 666 kicked him and he fell a few meters away.

After seeing the horror in front of him, the smile was wiped off from Devin's face and his Reverence ceased its activation. He fell to his knees, watching his friend's arms slowly decaying.

Anything the 666 wounds would decay and rot. Morris's right hand was cut from the elbow and his left hand was cut up to his shoulders. He was screaming in pain, agony, and hopelessness.

Devin couldn't move. He just knew that the 666 was toying with them the whole time. His body was void of motion as the 666 walked towards Morris.

'He's going to kill him.' Devin thought.

He tried standing up but he couldn't. His knees were weak and his mind was hazy. The price for the overactivation his Reverence was here.

'It's your fault! Morris said to retreat but you didn't listen.'

'I didn't know...'

'If you had fallen back while the enemy was still inactive, this wouldn't have happened.'

'I didn't know...'

'If only you weren't too weak, this wouldn't have happened.'

"I said I didn't know this would happen!" Devin yelled. His eyes were staring at the scenes playing in front of him.

His legs found a very little energy to stand up. As his body trembled, he slowly walked towards the 666. Morris had already lost his consciousness.

"I need more power."

The 666 raised his scythe in front of Morris. He looked back at the shaking Devin before returning his gaze on Morris.

It lifted Morris's left arm and turned to Devin.

"I have to... help Morris."

The 666's palm fired a reddish-black flame, scorching the arm.

"No! Stop!"

Devin was shaking in both fear and anger. The 666 threw his friend's now charred arm in front of him before turning around.

Devin's eyes stared at the charcoal-looking body part. His sword fell out his grasp and a tear slipped from his eye.

"Please, stop!"

Once again, the 666 raised his scythe, this time it wasn't paying attention to Devin.

The scenes that unfolded felt like it happened in slow motion. As the scythe was lowering, long sharp nails dug its way to the blades. A woman in white swerved Morris away and a light from her palm and reattached Morris's left arm.

"You're too late," Devin said before falling into slumber.

"Run!" Sofia yelled. They were being chased by Felicity.

It seemed like Felicity liked to play games. She closed her eyes and counted to ten saying, "You run as fast as you can. If I catch you, I'll rip your heads off."

From their arena, they found themselves inside the school's cafeteria. Another boy was with them after they saw him just outside the building. His name was Jeremy and he was as scared as them.

"Who's chasing us?" the boy asked. Sofia and Melissa shushed him as they ducked behind the counter.

"Where are the staff?" Melissa whispered. She found the door that leads to the kitchen and ushered the other two to follow her.

They opened the door and Melissa almost screamed in horror.

The kitchen staff was obliterated. Blood and guts were spilled everywhere. There were 7 heads that were lined up in a counter. They were the kitchen staff.

"Do you like my collection?"

The three's eyes widened when they heard Felicity behind them. She entered half her body into the kitchen.

"They're not Exorcists, so I can't make them," she said.

"M-Make them?" Sofia asked.

Felicity nodded and entered fully. A woman with a gray cloak was being dragged.

"I can't make them," Felicity repeated. She licked the Exorcist's cloaked head and the body shook. It glowed with a black color before transforming into a giant lollipop.

"See? I can't make them."

The others were affected by Sofia's unconscious activation of her Sanctity. She was so horrified that she used her powers to multiply the fear in the other two.

Felicity noticed this and she smirked. "You're all very scared."

She walked towards the three but stopped. There was silence for a few moments before the wall on their side was destroyed.

"Hello!" A scalpel five times its normal size pierced Felicity's giant lollipop.

"Y-You!" she yelled. "You broke my mommy!"

Martin got himself in between the 666 and the students.

"You guys, run and find other students," Martin said. "There are only 3 members of 666 here and normal Stained Souls burn under the sun so you're going to be okay."

"How dare you?!" Felicity screeched. She dashed towards Martin, their gigantic weapons met with a sharp sound.

"Cecilia Oton," Martin said. "That's the name of the Exorcist you killed."

He looked at the lollipop in both disgust and pain. Cecilia was only 23, a fresh graduate of the Institute.

Little did he know, his nephew was already on the brink of death.

Another scream was heard and the other wall of the kitchen was destroyed. A zweihander appeared through the smoke and slashed Felicity's head off. Her body fell to her knees but did not fell to the ground.

"What are you doing here?" Martin asked.

Maxime screamed and slashed Felicity's arms off. He continued slashing the child-looking demon before he started sobbing.

"M-Morris..." Maxime said, piercing his sword to Felicity's guts. "They killed Morris!"

"Aw, boohoo," Felicity said. Her head rolled down the floor and into her body. Her amputated parts started to connect along with her jumper.

"Was that all?"
