In a world where the night is plagued with man-eating monsters called Stained Souls, three sirens warn the people of their arrival.
A world where cloaked figures called Exorcists dance through the night, purging the monsters off the streets. 
In this world, Devin is bullied for his doll-looking features. Little did they know, he could see the monsters even before the sirens calls.
He was in his last year of high school when he was transferred to an island to attend a boarding school.

Sirens Before Night Falls

A kick landed on his face, stopping Devin from continuing his attack. It was followed by another kick that made him roll away. He lift his head and saw Stephanie hanging in the air.

Devin felt his world stop. The sight of the long blade of the scythe piercing through Stephanie's stomach made all his senses numb.

"Stephanie!" Xia yelled, waking Devin up from the abyss.

Stephanie placed her hand on the scythe, blood dripped from her lips. She gazed at her younger brother who bore eyes that were wide as plates.

Stephanie mustered all the energy left in her and coiled her chain weapon around Scythe. "Serpent's Sacrifice!"

The chain wrapped itself around the man gripping his neck and pulling his head off.

Scythe dropped Stephanie, her body darkened like it was rotting.

Scythe took his head and placed it back in. "She was a Bearer, yet she didn't know how to kill a 666? Pathetic."
