In a world where the night is plagued with man-eating monsters called Stained Souls, three sirens warn the people of their arrival.
A world where cloaked figures called Exorcists dance through the night, purging the monsters off the streets. 
In this world, Devin is bullied for his doll-looking features. Little did they know, he could see the monsters even before the sirens calls.
He was in his last year of high school when he was transferred to an island to attend a boarding school.

Sirens Before Night Falls

The moonless sky was dim. The thick white fog covered everything in the world. People were tombstones and beasts were rampant.

"Today marks your first day as an Intern," Andrew said, fixing Devin's necktie.

"Don't make it sound like a job," Devin rolled his eyes.

"It is a job," Andrew argued. "You work, you earn money. A job."

"Yeah, whatever," Devin rolled his eyes and sighed. "I'm just nervous maybe. It is my first time alone in the Purgatory after all."

"It's not your first time and you're not alone," Andrei walked over, giving Devin a paper bag. "You might get hungry while you're there. Eat this."

"Okay," Devin smiled and looked at himself in the mirror.

It was his first time to hunt Stained Souls. His teammates were also going to become interns but they're not going together. Interns would be stuck with a mentor that's a Licensed Exorcist.

"It's time for me to go," Devin said. "Bye, Andrew, Andrei."
