Sirens Before Night Falls

"Let me get this straight, you saw Jameson Lee and did not request for backup?" A female voice roared throughout the room. She sat in the in the middle of England's Exorcist Judges.

This woman is none other than Beatrice Klein, the Head Judge of England's Union Branch. A fierce retired Exorcist who could keep up with a Bearer even after her prime.

"Maria Alastair, let me remind you that Jameson Lee had been under the eyes of the Union for quite a long time now," Beatrice fumed. "And you let him go?!"

"There were Grimms around us watching over–"

Beatrice snapped her head at Devin who was instantly silenced. "Silence!"

"Ah, err," Devin stopped and looked down in shame and fear.

"Good thing Hans and Jack arrived just in time along with several Grimms," Beatrice sighed. "Your promotion for being an Exorcist will be put on hold, Maria. You will regret this."
