In a world where the night is plagued with man-eating monsters called Stained Souls, three sirens warn the people of their arrival.
A world where cloaked figures called Exorcists dance through the night, purging the monsters off the streets. 
In this world, Devin is bullied for his doll-looking features. Little did they know, he could see the monsters even before the sirens calls.
He was in his last year of high school when he was transferred to an island to attend a boarding school.

Sirens Before Night Falls

Devin brandished his sword and activated his Reverence in shock. It felt as though everything was happening too fast.

Not long ago, they were talking at the coffee shop. She was still smiling up at him, and now…

"As of 7:09 PM, Zara Peters has became the 192nd Fallen of Europe and 16th of England," Maria announced.

Devin shook his head slowly, "Zara, why?"

"Becoming a Fallen feels pretty good," Zara said. "You should try it, Devin."

"No," Devin said raised his sword. "I won't go that far for power."

She unsheathed her sword and launched herself to Devin, ignoring Maria completely. "Join us, Devin!"

Their swords clashed. Devin knew that this woman was alrady a villain after the black sparks appeared on her sword instead of white.

Her movements were fast and held power. If Devin did not activate his Reverence, he would've been already killed.
