Xia continued pulling the boys away, almost proning at how low they were crawling on the ground.
"How in the hell did they find us?" Xia grunted. "I swear, these people will never stop until they get what they want. Come on."
The three of them crept out of the alley, looking around in case someone was watching them.
"It's clear," Xia said. "Let's–"
"So, this is where you are."
They froze after hearing the voice behind them. Devin could only gulp as he slowly turned around, seeing the face of a middle aged man, standing there.
"I'll distract the Grimms, hide yourself until then Prince Mason," the man said, bowing before he leaped up to the roof of the building nearby.
"Who was that?" Xia asked. "He knows you."
"That was my butler," Mason replied. "He has been with me since I was little, guarding me from harm."
"It seems like he's on our side," Xia whispered. "Let's go."
