Devin dropped heavily panting on the ground, his breathing uneven as he struggled to even use his sword to lift his body up for support.
"I can't anymore," Devin grunted. "The new suits drains my aura quicker than my Reverence. And let me tell you, my Reverence just… slutps."
"It seems like you're just whining," Xia quirked his brow up, crossing her arms in front of her. "You need to master this suit. You know what's up with the old ones."
"Yeah," Devin pouted. "Unfortunately."

A knock on the door sounded from the early morning. Devin knew that Xia wasn't expecting any guests or intel, so it was odd.
He woke Mason up, but failed. The other boy only turned to the other side and groaned. "So early."
"There's someone by the door," Devin whispered.
Just when the knocking had stopped, Devin close to ruling it as his imagination, loud slamming of the wooden door echoed throughout the entire villa.
