From poor slave to king of them all. Watch as William rises in power and turns his enemies into nothing but corpses. 

William was a slave, his live was terrible and he was barely alive at this point. But then he met a devil that gave him a chance to rise in power. Revenge, riches, power are all things that he can obtain now. But everything has it’s cost, the path for power only leads to a path of sufferment for William. 

And the devil that gave him the chance to obtain those powers? That devil is just using William as a puppet, like a toy that can be replaced any time. Will William escape from the hand of the devils and God’s that try to control his fate or will he stay forever a puppet of stronger beings. 

This is a story of a slave fighting against his own fate and trying to crush everything that obstructs his path.

I became the strongest as the devils plaything

William was happy to be back, especially with being able to see his disciples again. He really wanted to help them get stronger. He wanted to help the entire goblin village get stronger. He knew that that wouldn't be easy, but he had gotten it as mission so it was possible.


He started training with his disciples. He would have to teach them the metal body refining technique later, because he had to find a place with a lot of metals first, but he figured that that wouldn't be too difficult. He decided that he would talk with the village chief about it later.


„you're so absent today, is everything ok?" asked Sennua. She was worried about William, because he constantly started to randomly enter into a trance, as if was thinking extremely hard about something. She was worried that something was wrong with him or that something bad would happen.


„no everything is fine." William answered. He really should be more careful he couldn't constantly enter a daze when he was thinking. An assassin might use such a moment to kill him, he really needed to be more careful.


He started practicing shooting the bow with his disciples. The mastery of the bow was something every goblin had to learn. Yuki wasn't really fond of training with the bow, but she understood that it was important.


Still she rather learned about how to set up traps. She didn't like archery or close combat, she rather hid and waited till an enemy fell into one of her traps. That was her style, but unfortunately she didn't get much support from the other goblins. Although William still fully supported her. He wanted her to succeed and become a trapmaster.


After training the goblin disciples he visited the village chief. „village chief I have something important to talk about" he didn't bother doing small talk. Instead he immediately started talking about what he wanted, not even giving the village chief a chance to answer.


„I have a martial arts technique that can strengthen the goblins a lot, but I need metal for it. A lot of metal, it's a technique that gives the user a body out of metal it's incredibly strong. With enough resources we can strengthen the goblins and make them way stronger then they are now." Said William. 


The village chief nodded „that sounds good, I will keep an eye out for where I can find a lot of metal, don't worry, but we do use iron. We need it for the arrow production, but maybe we can use a bit of the iron to train goblins with that technique. I trust you with training the goblins then. You are the best option for it, and thank you since you came to this villages our life seems to have changed for the better."


„there is nothing to thank me for. At the start I was just a foreigner but now I'm a family member. There is a lot of things that I wish I could help you with, but there is only so much that I can do. I hope that imparting that technique to the goblins will further help the goblins" said William.
