chapter 7

Minal told Payal that her parents are with her side.  Payal was excited that at last, now she was free from forced marriage.

Minal was glad that her parents understand her. She was so glad that she forgot to tell Sid about it. And she went her home after long time that's why she was spending her time with her family.

Sid was worried that Minal cut the call in hurry and didn't call him back. He waited for her call. There were a lot of unwanted thoughts into his mind. He didn't want that Minal left him in any cost. It was hard to accept his feelings for him. But he wants to stay Minal his side. He knew it's not right to get possissive for Minal but he can't help about it. Now, Minal became part of his life.

When Minal came back from her home, she send the text to Sid that everything is right and she will tell him in detail later.

Sid was glad after receiving her text that's why he called her and told, "I want to take out for dinner at  weekend as my apology."

Minal chuckled after hearing it, "Sid, I told you. You don't need to apology. I am not angry on you. And my family didn't find that's why it is not big issue."

He smiled, "then get ready."

She laughed, "fine."

Sid and Minal were inside the car. Minal was so excited that's why Sid smiled, looked at her and asked, "you are looking happy."

She looked at him with glitter eyes and said, "Yeah, dad said he will handle everything. It means I am tension free now."

Sid laughed, "it's a good news then."

She nodded.

When Sid stopped the car infront of a famous restaurant, she looked at him and asked, "am I missing something? Today is something special."

Sid took her hand into his hand and said, "nothing special. I am hungry. Let's go inside now."

She shook her head at him and giggled. Sid held her hand tightly and went inside.

They were waiting for their order and she told him everything what she talked to her parents.

After serving the table by waiter, she looked at him with joyful. But his face expression was changed suddenly. Before she asked something, he said her, "Minal, lets go from here."

Minal asked him with confusion, "what happened? You are hungry na."

He looked at her, stood and said, "we can go another restaurant."

"But sid it's already served. It will be waste." She looked in front of her table and said.

But he came to her, held her hand and pulled, "I told you let's go."

Minal knew something was wrong here. She noticed he was hiding someone behind him.  Is she his ex girlfriend? She was jealous but she wanted to know which type of girls he dated. She knew she was hurting her feelings but it's necessary for her to know why he was suddenly tensed  That's why she put smile on her lips and said with confidence, "what are you hiding?"

As she pushed him lightly a side to view who was other side, she got stunned. It was Kunal with that girl who was in pub. He was looking happy. Before a week, he was asking her apologize and now he was with her. She was not jealous or not angry. She was disappointed that she ever trusted him. She was going to get married with him.

It's not like that Kunal didn't take her any expensive restaurant but it was her who always refused because she thought there is no use to waste money. After marriage, his money would be her and her money would be him. She always considered their future. It was important for her after all. She forget when there is not present, how will there be future?

She came into senses when Sid shook her lightly and said with concern, "let's go from here."

She looked at him with sad eyes. She could notice that he was worried for her. She looked other side and put smile on her lips, "no need. We will eat here."

Before Sid said, she heard Kunal's voice from Sid's behind, "Minal?"

Minal changed her face expression into serious and stood up with confident, "wow.. it's a pleasant surprise to see you here. Don't you think that world is so small?"

Sid stood beside her and impressed her confident. Kunal looked at her with shocked. He looked at Sid and asked, "Minal, who is he?" He was looking angry.

Minal sighed and asked with raising eyebrows, "does it matter for you now with whom I am?"

Kunal opened his mouth, "of course"

She nodded. She wanted to introduce Sid as her boyfriend but she knew they were not dating and she didn't want to scare him. That's why she took a deep breath and said, "kunal, he is my friend, Sid." And looked at Sid, "you already know him. Kunal is my family friend." Then she looked at kunal and said, "Now..."

Kunal got speechless while Sid smirked. He was disappointed that she introduced him as her friend but he was relieved that she introduced kunal as her family friend.

Kunal got irritated and said to her, "I want to talk in alone."

She nodded because she didn't want to create any scene. She turned towards Sid. He understood and gave her smile, "I am waiting you outside."

She smiled and nodded. Sid left while he didn't want to leave her with that guy. But he couldn't do anything about it.

They sat on the table. Kunal looked at her and asked with frustration, "what is it, Minal? You introduced me as your family friend."

She smirked, "why? Aren't you?"

"Yeah, but I am also your fiance."

She laughed dramatic, "are you kidding me? I broke our engagement don't you know?"

He said with anger, "but I didn't. I am your fiance till yet."

She got frustrated, "Then what are you doing with that girl?"

Before he said anything, she continued, "I am disappointed that I trusted to you. So accept the reality and I don't want to keep any type of relationship with you. You are my family friend. I can't do anything about it that's why I have to face it. And I am warning you don't say next time that you are my fiance. Because I don't know what will I do if I hear it again from your mouth."

She stood up and left without hearing anything.

She looked Sid who was waiting her out side. As he looked her, he rushed to her and asked with concern, "are you alright?"

She smiled wildly, "ofcourse, what would happen to me?" He was relieved that she was smiling. But She said, "I am sorry because of me, It's ruined."

He smiled and pecked on her lips, "it's ok. Let's go."

She nodded but she was feeling guilty.

Sid was satisfied that she came back into his arms.

They went to his house. He suggested to her, "do you wanna order something from outside?"

She nodded because she was not in the mood of cooking anything. He told her, "ok you order and I arrange the table."

She asked, "what do you wanna eat?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "anything what you want."

She nodded and took her mobile out and ordered. She sat on the couch for rest.

When their dinner delivered, she came to dinning area with packet. But as she saw the atmosphere of dinning area, she looked at him with questioning eyes. Sid gave her smile and said softly, "you are upset that's why I tried to refresh your mood."

She shook her head at him and smiled, "it's awesome."

He decorated table with scented candles and there was playing soft music. They served the table and sat for eating.

They were enjoying the atmosphere around them. After eating, Sid raised his hand towards her and asked, "do you wanna dance?"

She giggled and nodded. Who would deny when he would ask in romantic tone? Sid took her into her arms and she put her head on his chest. They were moving slowly with music beat.

He took her into restaurant because of some reason but kunal ruined it. Sid was not angry but he was waiting for right opportunity. He was glad that she was in his arms. It seemed that the time was perfect to ask her.

He said with confident, "Minal" but his voice was not with him. First time, he was feeling that he has no enough confident. He was scared that she would run away from him and never come back. But he knew it was necessary to keep her stay.

Minal was enjoying in his arms. She wanted to stay in his arms forever. But she knew one day she has to come out into reality from her dreams. She was ready for it but she was sad to think about it. That's why she pushed away any thoughts and decided enjoy every moment with him.

She held him tightly and hummed. After getting her reaction, he smiled and got encourage. He took a deep breath, "Minal, we know each other since last three months. We spend mostly time with each other. We are glad with each other. But don't you think we should give name to our relationship?"

Minal loose her grip on his waist and looked into his eyes. She didn't say anything because she wanted to hear more from him.

He searched the answer into her eyes but she was only looking him without expression. He wanted to convince her that's why he continued, "I don't like when you introduced me as a friend to him. Don't you think I am more than a friend?"

She opened her mouth, "of course you are more than a friend."

He smiled, "that's why I am saying it. I want you be my girlfriend. Next time, you will meet with anyone, I want you introduce me as your boyfriend. Do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

She blushed with smile and nodded. When he saw her reaction, he hugged her tightly, "thank you."

She hugged him back. She was glad that he also wants what she wants.

He pushed her lightly and took out a box from his pocket. He opened the box, took out a ring from it and put it into her finger. It happened so quickly that she couldn't understand what's going on. When she saw ring into her finger, she looked at him with questioning look.

He smiled, "it's a promise ring. That you are my girlfriend."

She examined that ring closely. It was perfect size for her finger. It was a band with a square shape diamond. It was not American diamond. It was real diamond. She knew the cost of that ring which was more than her three years salary.

She tried to take out it from her finger and said, "I am sorry, Sid. I can't accept it." But he stopped her by putting his hand on her hand and show her his other hand. He also worn pair ring into his finger. He tried to convince her, "Minal, don't worry. It's only a promise ring which remind me that you are my girlfriend and my ring remind you I am your boyfriend. When you won't want to be my girlfriend anymore, you can give it back to me. I won't say anything."

Minal thought for a second. There is no loss to wear it. She nodded and hugged him. Because she was speechless and didn't know what to say. He hugged her back with gladly. At last, he succeeded to convince her.
