Cases P.O.V.
"Oh fuck..." I said, trying to control my anger as I looked at the pictures. "Shit! Shit, shit, shit, shit!" I yelled, throwing my phone against the ground.
Harley looked alarmed "What?" He demanded.
We were on our way out to the car, "nothing Harley! Nothing is fucking WRONG!" My anger bubbled over,
Now, I expected this. Of course I did. It's just what you did when you kidnapped someone. Let me note that this didn't make it any better.
Harley picked up my phone and froze. "Oh my...o-oh my God..."
Harley was more shocked than angry. I might have even felt bad for the guy if he didn't annoy me so much.
I grabbed my phone back from him and put it in my pocket. The screen was shattered.
Harley was shaking, seeming frozen in place.
"Stop it. She's going to be fine. Get in the car." I growled, not in the mood. When he didn't move, I walked over and slapped him across the face. "I said get in the damn car, Harley!" I yelled then went towards the it.
Harley looked at me, "Are you fucking serious?" He asked furiously.
I turned to him. "What?" I demanded.
"Did you not see the pictures!? Give them what they want Woods! Get my sister back!" Harley yelled,
I wanted to scream at how ignorant he was. "You know what they want? They want revenge. There is nothing I can do to stop them."
He glared in a deadly way. "Bribe them."
"No. That wouldn't work, they'd kill her all the same-"
"They're planning on killing her!?" He gasped.
"Maybe. Depends on how she acts. I tried to talk to her about it..." I trailed off, pretty sure she hadn't been listening to me anyways.
"What can we do?" Harley asked, looking at me. He was trying to seem angry and intimidating but come off as more desperate.
"Take her by force is pretty much our only option." I explained.
"And if we fail?" He asked
"Then we all die. This is why I tried so hard to keep her safe!"
"But you couldn't." Snapped Harley.
He fists clenched, But I couldn't bring myself to answer. I got into the car and waited for Harley.
He got in and slammed the door. I groaned,
"What did you do for them to want revenge?" He asked angrily.
I hesitated, I hadn't told Alex about any of that, and well, look where it got me. "The leader of the WestSide and I, we have a history. I'm betting the SouthSide helped because they formed an alliance. So that's just wonderful." I said sarcastically, starting the car. "That or they were bored."
Harley glared at me. "Bored?"
"Yeah." I said, not looking at him as I put the car into drive and started off.
"Who's the leader of the SouthSide?" He asked
"Not sure. I've got a few spies there. But they might be dead by now."
"Dead? You sent some guys in there and you really don't give a fuck about them?" He asked angrily.
I could barley contain my annoyance, "Your fucking clueless. They chose to go in. And I said might. Also I don't have time to grieve about what might be because I'm busy with shit like this." I snapped
"Shit you got your self into." He shot,
"Your sister is dangerously curious." I shot back.
Harley opened his mouth to speak but shut it. We drove in peace for awhile. Then he broke the silence, "What is the plan?" He asked like he had rehearsed his words.
"We're going to find the guy and ask him where the base is."
"And once we find the base? What's the plan?" He asked
"God, I don't know! We have to ask the guy what would be the best plan of action."
Harley sighed and leaned against the window "Fine."
"Your going to have to work with me on this if you want to get her back." I informed after awhile. It was true, and he needed to know.
Harley looked up. "Work with you how?"
"Dude if you weren't so scared of everything, you'd be fucking terrifying to people. You would be perfect to threaten this guy." I tried weakly to not hate him.
Harley rolled his eyes "I'm not scary."
"Not yet. Like spike up your hair, get a leather jacket, get a gun for Gods sake, a few knives, you wouldn't be too bad. But your so damn weak-"
Harley interrupted "I'm not weak."
I rolled my eyes "that's shit."
"I'm not!" He said angrily.
"Shut up." I ordered, not wanting to get into this at the moment. Or ever. We drove for awhile, my thoughts wandering from Alex, to Shane, onto how much I hated him. Finally I was thinking of ways to kill him when I parked in front of the house.
I looked at Harley. "Ready?"
He nodded with a such strong determination that it made me wonder if I was just being hopeful. "Can I have a gun?" He asked. I held back my grin and pointed to the glove compartment.
He took it out and held it. "Ok..." he looked at the gun,
"Your supposed to point and pull the trigger." I mocked.
He rolled his eyes "shut up." He put it into his pocket after making sure it was loaded.
I walked up to the door and, me being the polite young man I was, knocked.
I heard footsteps and I knew he was looking through the window. "Hide the gun Harley." I said, barely moving my lips.
Harley put it behind his back and waited.
Mr. Troval opened the door looking nervous, "Woods." He said as way of greeting.
A smile came over my face, "Aww you know me?" I asked, pretending to be flattered.
He sighed. "What do you want? I retired."
I walked in. Harley followed. It was a nice enough house, but was filled with old furniture and decor that looked as though it had been found on the curb. The walls were white, the couch a dirty brown, the counters cream, black out curtains, nothing went together, I picked up a picture with Camden and three little girls.
"Hey, hey, watch it." Said Camden.
I set it down. "We just need some information. That's it." I promised.
He opened his mouth to speak but stopped on account of the sound of steps upstairs.
I tensed. "Who else is here? Harley go figure out who's here."
Harley nodded and walked upstairs without hesitation. I smiled to myself. Maybe he wasn't that bad.
"No, no," Camden tried to go after Harley but I grabbed his shoulder. "Please, please it's my niece, just a little girl, she's harmless." He swore.
I rolled my eyes "Well then you'll have no trouble helping me out. You used to be in the WestSide, yes?"
He nodded, looking around nervously.
"Where would they take their leverage?"
He hesitated and I brought out the gun, "Ok chill! Chill!" He put his hands in front of himself. I could tell he was just stalling. I cocked the gun,
"Fine! They have three main places," he said, walking to a computer.
"No. Hands off. Tell me what to put." Then as it came to my mind, "Harley what's taking so long!?" I called.
"It's just a kid!" I heard shouted from up the stairs.
"Get back here then!"
"She's threatening to call the cops!" He shouted like it was the most impossible problem.
I groaned "tie her to something!"
I saw Camden tense in the corner of my eye but ignored it.
Harley kind of hesitated "Ok." He said, sounding quiet.
Camden was tense "3256, Ballpark drive." He said quickly,
"That's where they are?" I asked
"It's one of the possibilities."
"One?"
"Their are many." He explained.
And their were many. I wrote down six addresses, lined out three plans of attack that he said would work best, seven names and descriptions of the members he knew of, and copied four exits and entrances from the places he remembered.
Now I know what your thinking, idiot he's lying. But I could tell he wasn't, every time he slowed down with the information, I'd let out a casual threat and toy with the gun.
He was so easy, I was glad for that. Probably best for me not to have a reason to beat someone up in my current mood.
"Harley! Come on we're leaving!" I called,
"Do I untie her?" He asked from upstairs,
"No, just get your ass down here!" I shouted, annoyed now.
Harley walked down and came into view,
Camden stood "Did you hurt her?" He asked, sounding scared.
Harley shook his head but didn't speak.
Camden turned to me "is that all?" He asked, I nodded and he ran upstairs.
I took the notepad that I had wrote everything on and walked back to the car, Harley got in "that was easy." He said, but I could tell he was just trying to seem tough.
I nodded "Surprisingly." Finally whoever is making my life suck decided to give me a break.
"She kept crying..." Mumbled Harley looking sad,
I rolled my eyes. "What did you do?"
"I let her play games on my phone."
I groaned "oh my god Harley! Your supposed to be intimidating!"
"She was crying!" He argued.
I shook my head, pretty sure I wasn't going to be able to explain to him how important the element of fear was in situations like this.
"Whatever. Ok so she's in one of six places. I'm going to send guys to check them out."
"What if she's not at any of them?" Harley asked.
"Dammit Harley, I don't know.." I mumbled,
I hated all of this so much. Why was I even bothering to do this? I barely knew the girl...well that wasn't true. I did know her, pretty well actually, but still. It's not like I cared.
My phone lit up with a text message, I glanced at it, expecting the worse. But it wasn't more pictures, it was just a message,
Unknown- She's not dead yet, but you should probably hurry up your plan. I won't keep her alive much longer.
Sincerely, Miss SouthSide
I closed my eyes, "Aw shit.."
