Chapter 13

"Do you think Christian is gay?" Sky asked me as we sit down at the lunch table.

I raised my brow at her, "You do realize that you went over to his house this past weekend and practically sucked each others faces."

She rolls her eyes and sighs sadly, "Yeah, I know, but then not even ten minutes after you left. Chris left also, and never came back! Then I had to sit there and talk with his brother!"

I laughed at her and rubbed her back, when she slammed her head down on the table.

"Maybe you know..... He's just ... not the relationship type of dude," I tell her shyly.

She snaps her head up, "And I would be completely fine with that! I wouldn't mind being friends with benefits. It's just... well, he's not even giving me the benefit part!"

I bit my lip and thought for a moment if I should tell Sky about what happened between Christian and I.

"Sky... I'm gonna tell you something, and please, don't be mad at me. I would never in my life purposely do this to you," I tell her honestly, while fidgeting with my fingers.

She straightens up and put her full focus on me, "Ok, what's up?"

I take a deep breath, "Sky Chris-"

"Hey babe," I hear Justin say as he slid into the seat next to me.

I smiled shyly at him and his football buddies that sat down at the table also.

"Hey man did you check out that girl with the fat ass at the party?" Aaron says, shoving a whole taco in his mouth.

Justin snorts and wraps an arm around my shoulders, "Why would I look at another girl, when I have the best girl right here."

I raised my head and smiled widely at him. God... He hasn't said something like that in awhile.

He smiles down at me and kisses my neck. I bit my lip and looked back down with a flushed face.

"So can I come over tonight?" He whispers against my neck.

I nod my head and giggled as he covered my face with sweet kisses.

"Ooh and here comes my man now," I hear Sky say excitedly.

I see Christian staring at me as he walks up to our table, then sits down in front of me with a massive pile of food on his tray.

Justin engages a conversation with his friends, and Sky moves right next to Christian. Like for real, any closer together and she would be sitting on his lap. But he wasn't paying any attention to her, but kept his focus on me.

Wrapping her arms around his, she lays her head on his shoulder, "Are you free after school today?"

Breaking his stare from me, Christian turns and raised his brow at her, "I am not free. I have important stuff to take care of."

He takes a quick glance at me and then back at her now sad eyes.

     What was that about?

"You always have something to do," she whines while puffing out her bottom lip in a pout.

He unwraps her arms from his and pats the top of her head. Like you would do a kid, or a dog when they've done something good.

"Maybe next time," he says simply.

I look down at my lap, trying not to laugh at his desperate need to always get away from her. I shouldn't be laughing cause it's my best friend that he's doing that to.

But for some odd reason, I get this pleasure of watching him reject her.

     Some friend you are Amy.

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I need to get my priorities and shit together.

"Are you not going to eat?" I hear Christian ask.

I looked up to see he was looking directly at me, "Oooh... um.. you know, I had a really big breakfast at home. I'm still kinda full from it," I tell him, patting my empty stomach.

He raised his brow at me, and studied my face for a moment, "You're lying."

I just stare at him, is this motherfucker being for real?

"I'm not hungry?" I try again.

He pressed his lips together in a disapproval frown, then picked up a plastic bowl full of chicken nuggets and slid it over to me, "Eat."

I shake my head and scooted the food back over to him, "Seriously, I'm fine."

He shakes his head and pushes the food back to me. "I haven't seen you eat anything for lunch for the past week. Eat."

His voice was darker and more threatening and possessive. As if he was daring, no itching for me to disobey.

I really didn't want to find out what would happened if I did disobey.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and grabbed the plastic bowl, scooting it in front of me.

Picking up a nugget, I put it in my mouth and chewed slowly. I look up to see that Christian was smiling at me now. Pleased that I was eating.

     Such a weird fucking guy.

I swallowed the food making direct eye contact with him, so he would know I swallowed it.

I go to grab another one, but my bowl was scooted to the side of me by Justin.

"You don't need this unhealthy shit babe. Here, have some water," he says, handing me a bottle of water as he shoved the nuggets in his mouth.

I looked down, embarrassed by his comment. Damn...

I hear a deep rumble come from in front of me. I look back over to see Christian gripping his tray tightly with his eyes shut. His jaw clinched and flexed, like he was really fucking angry.

I see Bryce from drama class come up behind Christian and whisper something in his ear. When Christian didn't answer him, Bryce wrapped his arm around Christians chest from behind, then lifted him up from his seat.

"Let's go," Bryce demanded, dragging a fuming Christian out of the lunch room.

My lord, men are so strange.

"Sooo there's a party this weekend, can you see if you can come?" Justin asked leaning closer to me.

I bit my lip, "I don't know, Justin you know I have to watch -"

He scoffs and slightly shoves me off of him, even though he's the one who leand on me, "Whatever. Just anything to not going to the fucking party with me."

I sighed and shook my head, "You know it's not like that Justi-"

"Save your bullshit excuse for someone else," he says harshly, rolling his eyes at me, then leans back in his seat with crossed arms.

I sighed and stood up, which causes him to stand and look down at me.

"Where are you going?" He asked, taking ahold of my hand.

"To my locker," I tell him honestly.

He smiled and leaned in to kiss my lips, "I'll walk you."

I nod my head and started walking towards my locker. Justin grips my hand tighter and interlocked our fingers together.

"So the senior prom is coming up in about 3 months," he says casually, leaning against the locker next to mine once we arrived.

"Yeah I think Sky mentioned something about that. I think she was wanting Chris to ask her," I tell him casually, opening my locker and started putting my stuff up.

He chuckles and leans his head back on the locker, "I think your friend is blind. Everyone can see that he's not interested in her."

     I smiled.

"But I'm not blind. Everyone can also see who he is interested in," he says lower, watching me carefully.

I hummed to myself as I closed my locker and looked back up at him. I know what he's doing. It's not gonna to work.

He comes up behind me and wrapped his arms around me tightly. Then gently placed his chin in between the small dip of my neck and shoulder.

Holding me tightly in place, he whispers, "You're still mine, right? You're still my loving, faithful, and caring girlfriend. Right?"

     I don't know what I so nervous about, I mean, I don't think I've done anything wrong.

"Of course I am Justin," I tell him, turning my head sideways looking at him.

He smiles and kisses my neck, "Good. Cause I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you."
