The letter
---- 1. August 1991 Lake home ----
It was a day like any other day. There was just one problem. Outside right before the Forest was a giant snake laying. The snake was as big as the house. In the house in the shadow of a lamp, you could see three Adults discussing things with a complicated look on their face.
"Ok, I am gonna start. How is it possible that the forest behind our house became a magical hotspot." asked jean with slight annoyance in her voice. "That is not the worst part. How is a Baseliks living there? For merlin sake a Basilisks. The last one was seen hundreds of years ago" exclaimed Frank horrified of what could happen to Alex. He played in the Forest almost every day. Jean suddenly explained with guilt in her voice: "That might be my fault." All Grow ups looked at her surprised. Charles decided to ask "How is it your fault. I think it is my fault I should not have granted Alex a forest as a present."
Frank through about and decided to intervene "Its not your fault if I hadn´t given him these eggs This wouldn't happen. Also, every "Lake" gets a part land for himself and Alex chooses the Forest."
Suddenly from the corner of the room, they heard with heavy steps someone coming. When they saw who it was they decided to wait for her. After a short while, Alexandra shouted: "Explain now. or even merlin himself will not help you." She looked at each of the Adults in the room daring to turn lie to her.
After what felt an Eternity Frank decided to start Explaining. "Well Sister, as you know yesterday came the Hogwarts letter for Alex." Frank decided to explain everything to his sister.
---- Flashback -----
Alex woke up completely refreshed over the last few months. He had to learn many things. The only things that Alex enjoyed were the combat classes with his Father. If he wasn´t tortured with Information from his Aunt or take combat class. He would often go to the Forest and play with my friends.
Yesterday his Aunt came and informed him that the last two months before Hogwarts. I would not have to continue this study. After learning about this he almost wanted to shout it out loud but held back for when he saw his aunt.
A few days, later when I got home, I found my parents wait for me in the kitchen, with a letter with a red wax seal sitting on the table. I ran to the table and grabbed the latter and opened it, and pulled out a letter.

Dear Mr. Lake,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
The term begins on 1 September. We will send someone to explaining things to you and your family.

First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of Plain work robes (black)
2. Three sets of standard Hogwarts Uniform
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

Alex looked at the list then towards his Parents. "I think they don´t know that we are a Wizard family. We only registered your Aunt's family as a Wizard family." Frank said with a bit of amusement in his voice. Alex looked once again and after reading the list he asked: "It says that I need an owl, can´t I just take Orkan. And it also said we can bring a pet with us like a cat, or toad." With his best tone, Alex asked: "Can I take my friend in the Forest with me?" Jean trough about it and said: "Maybe, you first have to show us your Friend"
A few minutes Alex and his parents were standing right before the entrance of the Forest. Alex suddenly took out a pipe and blew in it.

Frank looked a bit aged after explaining everything and finished: After these creatures came out of the Forest we called the family. And now we are here. Alexandra after piecing together. Pulled out a fire whiskey. She then looked and asked, "what did Alex say when you question him about these." She pointed outside towards the sleeping Basilisks and other creatures. Jean answered "Alex only said that he through it was just a big snake egg we gave him. He didn´t know that the egg was an "allegedly" dead egg." She said that while looking over towards Frank.
Alexandra signed and finally said: "It's fine as long as the Basilisks don't attack anyone. I will have someone from the family come here and check the Basilisk. But from what I heard Alex has no comen sense."
Suddenly they heard the bell ring. All Adults looked towards the door. Suddenly they heard the door opening.
