Chapter 58 Marie cooks, sort of...

Today, was the 7th of June, a Saturday and something was a bit off in Tatsurou's apartment, it was lunchtime and yet Shirayuki wasn't the one making lunch today...

"Shirayuki, where's the salt and the olive oil?" Marie, that was wearing a light blue dress with an apron over it and her usual nun's habit on her head, asked as she poked her head out of the kitchen and saw Tatsurou and Shirayuki sitting next to each other on the couch, watching TV.

"It's in the top cupboard...left from the stove..." Shirayuki, that wearing her usual shrine maiden clothes, said with an informative tone as she looked at Marie that as soon as she heard Shirayuki, went back into the kitchen.

"Marie's been there the whole morning...I wonder what she's cooking..." Tatsurou, that was wearing a black hoodie jacket, with a white t-shirt underneath and black jeans, said with a curious and worried tone while he crossed his arms and looked at the kitchen then at Shirayauki.

"I also wonder, what she's..." As Shirayuki said this a loud crash was heard from the kitchen, that made both Tatsurou and Shirayuki jolt a bit.

"M-Marie, are you ok?!" Tatsurou and Shirayuki asked with a very worried and surprised tones as they got up from the couch.

"Yes, I'm ok! Why are you two asking?" Marie asked with a curious tone from inside the kitchen.

"Were just a bit worried, that's all..." Shirayuki said with a worried tone, as she laughed a bit.

"Oh, you don't need to be! Everything's going well in here, so you better stay right where you are, like we agreed on!" Marie said with a happy tone, as yet another crash was heard that made Tatsurou and Shirayuki jolt once more.

"How can we not be worried, when it sounds like there's a war happening in the kitchen..." Tatsurou and Shirayuki said still with worried tones, as they took their seats on the couch again, while they let out a big sigh.

"Say, Shirayuki...what's has gotten into Marie for wanting to cook so badly, today?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone, as he glanced at Shirayuki.

"Eh? Well, Marie...she wants to thank us for everything we've done for up until now, by making us a traditional French dish!" Shirayuki said with a faint nervous tone as she raised her finger a bit.

"Hmm, I see...well, french cuisine is said to be one of the best in the world, so I can't wait to see what Marie is making for us!" Tatsurou said with a happy tone, as he smiled.

"Y-Yes, me too!" Shirayuki said also with a happy tone, as her ahoge wiggled a bit.

"Thank goodness, Tatsurou believed me..." Shirayuki thought as she began to slowly remember what brought them to this situation...

It all happened yesterday, around 21:43 pm, after Shirayuki finished taking her bath...

"Tatsurou, the bath's all yours now!" Shirayuki, that was wearing her long pink nightgown, said with a happy tone, as she entered the living room and saw Tatsurou sitting on the couch, watching TV.

"Thanks, Shirayuki...I'll go take my bath now, and then it's off to bed with me...I'm a bit tired today..." Tatsurou said as he turned off the TV while he got up from the couch and yawned.

"Wait, are you going to bed without brushing your hair, Shirayuki?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone as he got close to Shirayuki and looked at her slightly messy hair.

"Well, Marie said that she's going to brush my hair after I finished taking my bath..." Shirayuki said with a very happy and pleased tone, as her ahoge wiggled around a bit.

"I see...judging from your reaction, Marie must be quite a pro at brushing hair..." Tatsurou said with a happy tone as he laughed a bit.

"Marie's really good at brushing hair! She's so gentle when she brushes it and my hair doesn't get all messy when I wake up in the morning!" Shirayuki said again with a happy tone as her ahoge wiggled a bit more.

"But wait, Tatsurou, you just said that you were tired...is everything alright?" Shirayuki asked with a worried tone, as she tilted her head.

"You don't need to worry...I'm a bit tired since we did quite a lot today...I just need some shut-eye and I'll be as good as new!" Tatsurou said with a reassuring tone as he gently heads patted Shirayuki, while he smiled.

"And since tomorrow is Saturday, I'll sleep in a bit more...so you don't worry about breakfast for me..." Tatsurou said as he stooped head patting Shirayuki, as he now scratched his cheek a bit.

"I see but...I'll make something for you, just in case, ok?" Shirayuki said as she placed her hands together.

"Thanks! I'll better go then, the bath is calling me..." Tatsurou said with a sleepy tone as he made his way to the bathroom, while he yawned a bit.

"Ok, good night, Tatsurou..." Shirayuki said with a happy tone, as she looked at Tatsurou making his way towards the bathroom.

"Good night to you too, Shirayuki..." Tatsurou said also with a happy tone, as he briefly looked at Shirayuki, before making his way to the bathroom again and when he was finally gone.

"Well then, I'll go make some tea for me and Marie, since I'm already here!" Shirayuki said as she made her way to the kitchen to make some tea...

And so, a few moments later, in Shirayuki and Marie's room...

"Marie, I brought us some tea..." Shirayuki, that was now holding a wooden board with two cups filled with tea, said as she opened the door to her room and saw Marie sitting on the bed, reading a book with a concentrated face.

"Marie?" Shirayuki asked with a curious tone as she got close to the bed.

"Hmm? Oh! I'm so sorry Shirayuki...I didn't notice you coming in..." Marie, that was wearing her usual tank top and shorts and had her hair tied into a low ponytail, said as she closed the book she was reading and placed it on the bed while she looked at Shirayuki.

"You don't need to apologize like that, Marie, It's ok!" Shirayuki said with a reassuring tone, as she placed the wooden board on top of the desk, next to the bed and smiled.

"Well, I still feel bad for ignoring you..." Marie said as she got up from the bed and went to the drawer where she grabbed a hairbrush.

"So to make up for it, it's time to give your hair a good old brushing just like I promised! So go ahead and take a seat!" Marie said with a happy tone, as she got close to Shirayuki, that took a seat on the side of the bed.

"I'm sorry for always asking you, to brush my hair..." Shirayuki said with an embarrassed tone, while Marie got on top of the bed and placed herself behind Shiryuki.

"Come on, Shirayuki, I'm the one that's always offering to brush it and I don't mind it in the slightest, since I love brushing your hair!" Marie said with a happy tone, as she began to first search for hair tangles.

"I know, but next time no coming out of the bath before me! I want to return the favor!" Shirayuki said with a determined tone as she smiled.

"Sure thing!" Marie said as she found all the tangles and began to gently brush Shirayuki's hair.

"Shirayuki, can I ask you a favor?" Marie asked with a curious tone as she tilted her head.

"Sure, what is it?" Shirayuki asked also with a curious tone.

"Well, you promise you won't laugh?" Marie asked a bit embarrassed as she kept brushing Shirayuki's hair.

"I would never do that, Marie! So tell me, what is it?" Shirayuki asked with a curious tone as she took a seat on the bed.

"W-Well, you see the other day, I overheard the girls in my class talking about how...knowing how to cook is important and that cooking is the way to conquer the person you like...so I...well I..." Marie said still with her embarrassed tone as she looked a bit to her sides.

"W-What I'm trying to say here is, that I want...to cook up something for Tatsurou...so I wanted to know if your ok with it, Shirayuki?" Marie asked with an embarrassed tone as she looked a bit away from Shirayuki.

"Marie, come on, you don't even need to ask me those kinds of things! I don't mind that you cook something for Tatsurou, after all, it would go against our agreement to stop you from doing that!" Shirayuki said with a happy tone as she smiled.

"Thank you...Shirayuki, I was a bit nervous to ask since I didn't know if you were ok with it..." Marie said with an embarrassed tone as she blushed and laughed a bit.

"Don't worry, I'm ok with it and now I understand why you insisted on buying those extra ingredients when we went grocery shopping the other day...but if you don't mind me asking, what type of dish are you going to make?" Shirayuki asked with a curious tone as her ahoge wiggled a bit.

"You see, it's a typical french dish and also one of my favorites because...well, it's the one my mother used to make for me all the time when I was little...and she even told me once, that it was the first thing she ever cooked for my dad, so I want to cook it for Tatsurou too! Oh, and I also want you to eat it too, Shirayuki!" Marie said with a happy but also embarrassed tone as she blushed a bit.

"I see, since it's your favorite, it must be really good! But say, Marie, do you need my help with it?" Shirayuki asked with a happy tone as she smiled.

"Thanks for offering your help, Shirayuki, but I want to do this on my own, I'll put lots and lots of love on it, just like you and it will be perfect!" Marie said with a big smile as she finally finished brushing Shirayuki's hair.

"Ok then! But truth be told, now I can't wait to try it!" Shirayuki said with a happy tone as she looked at Marie.

"And I can't wait for you and Tatsurou to eat it! But before that, how about we go ahead and drink our tea?" Marie asked with a happy tone as she got out from behind Shirayuki and got off from the bed.

"Yes, let's do that!" Shirayuki said also with a happy tone as she saw Marie walking towards the desk to grab the two cups with tea...

And with that, the remembering of what gave Marie, the sudden wish to cook came to an end and we were now, back to the living room...

"I know that Marie, said all of that...but I can't stop being worried about her, since she told me and Tatsurou to stay out of the kitchen and it sounds like there's a war going on in there...to be honest, I just want to go in there and help!" Shirayuki thought as she looked at the kitchen with worry written all over her face as her ahoge drooped a bit, something that didn't last long...

"Alright you two, the wait is finally over!" Marie said with a happy tone as she stepped out of the kitchen and signaled both Tatsurou and Shirayuki to come in.

"Were coming!" Shirayuki said with a relieved tone as she got up from the couch, with Tatsurou doing the same, right after and when they got to the kitchen Tatsurou and Shirayuki, took a seat next to each other.

"So, Marie, what did you cook up for us?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone as he saw Marie putting oven mittens on.

"Well, I made you two my favorite traditional french dish that my mother used to make! It's called "tomates farcies" or stuffed tomatoes if you will!" Marie said with a happy tone, as she opened the oven and out of it she took a porcelain serving tray.

"Usually, you can fill up the tomatoes, with whatever you like, but I decided to make it just like my mother and use minced meat and have rice as a side dish!" Marie said with a happy and informative tone as she turned towards the table.

"Oh! I see...can't wait to try it!" Tatsurou said with an impressed and happy tone as he smiled.

"Me too!" Shirayuki said also with an impressed and happy tone as she smiled.

"Looks like I was worried for nothing..." Shirayuki thought as she sighed a bit.

"Then, without further ado, here it is!" Marie said as she placed the serving tray on top of the table and both Tatsurou and Shirayuki looked at what was inside it for a bit, without saying anything at all.

"Oh, I almost forgot the rice!" As Marie said this she took the oven mittens off while she turned toward the stove to get the pot with rice and in that brief moment, Tatsurou and Shirayuki, looked at the tray, then at each other, then at the tray again with surprised, confused, and worried faces on.

"W-What is this?" Tatsurou and Shirayuki thought as they looked at the tray that had inside it, something that wasn't even close to what Marie had described, the tray had to much olive oil in it, something that made the tomatoes stuffed with the meat look as if they were floating on it, as for the meat, it looked a bit burned up and it had parsley and the badly cut onions sticking out of it, something that didn't make it look any better and one wouldn't be wrong to assume, that the steam that poured out of the tray made what looked like a skull.

"Here's the rice!" Marie said as she placed the pot with rice on the table and when she removed the lid, to Tatsurou and Shirayuki's surprise, it looked like normal and simple cooked rice.

"A-At least the rice...looks normal..." Tatsurou and Shirayuki though a bit relieved, but it didn't last long, as Marie placed a serving spoon inside the pot and it made a cracking sound upon taking a bit of rice from it.

"I-I-It cracked?!" Tatsurou and Shirayuki thought surprised and shocked, as they looked at Marie grabbing a plate and putting a bit of the very undercooked rice from the pot and a tomato from the tray, on it.

"Here's yours, Tatsurou!" Marie said with a very happy and delighted tone as she placed the plate she was holding in front of Tatsurou, she then proceeded to grab another plate and put some rice and tomato on it.

"And here's yours, Shirayuki!" Marie said again with a very happy and delighted tone as she placed the plate in front of Shirayuki.

"Well then you two, I poured lots of love into it, so I hope that you enjoy it!" Marie said again with her happy tone as she looked at Tatsurou and Shirayuki.

"T-Thanks...Marie..." Tatsurou and Shirayuki said at the same time with a nervous tone as they looked at the contents of their plates with dumbfounded expressions.

"I won't deny that Marie didn't put lots of love into it but...this looks really bad...I wasn't expecting this at all from her..." Tatsurou thought as he looked at the tomato on his plate that looked like it gave up on life, as the olive oil poured out of it.

"Well, Shirayuki, wasn't expecting this either, judging by her reaction..." Tatsurou thought as he looked at Shirayuki, that had a worried and surprised expression on as she looked at her plate while she placed her hand in front of her mouth.

"What's wrong? Aren't you going to dig in?" Marie asked with a worried tone and expression as she tilted her head, something that made Tatsurou and Shirayuki jolt a bit, upon hearing her.

"W-Well, we were just appreciating it for a moment, before we dig in, you know..." Tatsurou said with a nervous tone while he raised his index finger and laughed a bit.

"Y-Yes, exactly..." Shirayuki said also with a nervous tone while she placed her hands together and laughed.

"I see...but please don't take too long, it's no good cold!" Marie said with an informative tone, as she leaned a bit forward.

"S-Sure..." Tatsurou and Shirayuki said as they looked at their plates once more, with silence ruling the kitchen for a moment.

"I won't lie...this looks bad, really bad...but...but I can't bring myself to tell it to Marie..." Tatsurou said as he looked at Marie, that was clasping her hands while she looked at Tatsurou with a big and beaming smile filled with happiness and great expectations, and for a bit, Tatsurou just looked at the plate again in silence, until he put on a determined face.

"Thanks for the food..." Tatsurou said with a determined tone, as he grabbed the fork next to his plate and placed a bit of tomato and meat on it.

"I...I don't care how bad it looks! Marie poured all of her soul and love into cooking this for me and Shirayuki..." Tatsurou thought as he looked at his fork for a bit.

"That's why...I refuse to break Marie's heart by telling her it looks bad or that I don't want to eat it...so here goes nothing!" Tatsurou thought as he placed the fork in his mouth, something that surprised Shirayuki and made Marie smile even more.

"H-How is it...Tatsurou?" Marie asked as she looked at Tatsurou taking the fork out of his mouth and chewing a bit, before swallowing.

"Well...it's..." As Tatsurou said this, he became as pale, as a ghost, before falling from the chair he was sitting on.

"T-Tatsurou!!" Both Shirayuki and Marie said with worried and panicked tones as they got close to Tatsurou.

"W-What's wrong?" Shirayuki and Marie asked as they got on their knees and lifted Tatsurou a bit.

"Don't worry you two...I'll just follow the white light that I'm seeing and I'll be ok..." As Tatsurou said this he closed his eyes and fainted, worrying Shirayuki and Marie even more than before.

"T-Tatsurou! You can't follow the light! The light is really bad!" Marie said with a worried tone, as she gently slapped Tatsurou's cheek.

"Marie's right! You can't follow that light, Tatsurou!" Shirayuki said also with a worried tone as she also gently slapped Tatsurou, all to no avail as he didn't wake up...

And so, some long hours later, Tatsurou was now in his room, lying on the bed and covered with a blanket, looking as if he was sleeping soundly, something that didn't last long...

"W-Where...am I...what...happened..." Tatsurou said with a tired tone, as he slowly opened his eyes and looked around for a bit.

"Wait...I'm in my room? Oh, right, I fainted back in the kitchen...Marie and Shirayuki must have brought me here...they even took my jacket off..." Tatsurou thought as he pulled that blanket away, and got into a sitting position, while noticed that he wasn't wearing his jacket.

"Well...I never thought I would eat something as bad as that...but to be fair, I had worse like that one time when, Wise, made me beastkin food by mistake..." Tatsurou said as he laughed a bit, but it didn't last long, as he put on a very depressed face with a long silence, following right after.

"I'm such an idiot! I can't believe I just fainted after eating just one fork of it...Marie must be devastated now...especially when it happened after eating her favorite food, which was also something her mother used to make for her...I need to go apologize to her, right now!" Tatsurou said with a worried and sad tone, that turned into a determined one, as he got up from the bed and made his way out of his room...

And meanwhile, inside Shirayuki and Marie's room, things weren't looking that great either, with Marie lying on the bed with her face buried away on the pillow and Shirayuki sitting next to her...

"I'm such a gigantic idiot, Shirayuki..." Marie said with a very depressed and sad tone, as she kept her face buried on the pillow, while she hit the bed with her legs a bit.

"Please, Marie, don't be so hard on yourself..." Shirayuki said with a reassuring and calm tone as she gently, head patted Marie.

"No, I have to be! I almost made you eat something so bad, that it made Tatsurou faint! What if he doesn't wake up? What if he doesn't talk to me again? What if starts to act as if I don't exist, because of this?" Marie asked with a sad and worried tone as she lifted her head from the pillow with tears falling from her eyes as she looked at Shirayuki.

"I don't think that Tatsurou, would do something like that..." Shirayuki said again with a reassuring tone as she smiled.

"But even if he doesn't do that...I completely blew it...he'll never eat something I make ever again, because of this..." Marie said again with a sad tone, as she took a seat on the bed while warping her arms around her legs and burying her face on her knees.

"I still think, that he wouldn't do that...but I'm actually surprised Marie, when you said you wanted to cook, I thought that you knew how...this was a bit unexpected..." Shirayuki said with a surprised tone as she scratched her cheek.

"I know that it's unexpected after everything I said...but it's true I don't have the foggiest idea of how to cook...I'm so bad at it, that all the girls in my dorm used to run away when I said it was going to cook...or when it was my turn to help on the dorms' canteen..." Marie said with a sad tone as she kept her face buried on her knees.

"I was always so busy...with my training to get better at fencing, studying or reading books...that I never had too much time to learn how to cook and all the older girls even made fun of me because I couldn't cook, saying that I failed as a girl and that no one would love a girl that can't cook..." Marie said again with a sad tone as she raised her head a bit.

"I knew all too well, that I couldn't cook and that I couldn't pull off doing that dish...but...I thought that if I gave it my all...if I poured all of my love into it just like you do Shirayuki...I believed I could do it..." Marie said with a sad tone as she raised her head a bit.

"Marie..." Shirayuki said with a worried tone, as she looked at Marie.

"I know that it was dumb to even try...but it's just that...whenever Tatsurou eats the food you make, he always eats it with a smile on his face...and after hearing the girls in the class talking about cooking, I remembered what the older girls back Lourdes told me...so I wanted to make something for Tatsurou and hear him say that it was good and to see him eating it with a smile..." Marie said with a sad tone, as she looked forward.

"I tried to imitate you, Shirayuki, to show Tatsurou a more "girly" side of mine...but I screw it up so bad, that I probably ruined the image that Tatsurou has of me..." Marie said again with a sad tone as she looked down.

"Come on, Marie! Stop saying your not "girly"!" Shirayuki said with a faint angry tone as she pouted and her ahoge pointed up.

"To me your the most "girly" girl, I know! And it doesn't matter, for both me or Tatsurou, if you don't know how to cook! So forget what those girls in your old school told you and even if your not good at cooking it doesn't mean your less "girly", and after all, there are a whole lot of things that your good at that make up for it a lot, like your incredible fencing skills, your knowledge about literature or your really enviable hair brushing skills and there's no way that this ruined the image Tatsurou has of you that easily!" Shirayuki said as she used her finger to count some of Marie's good points.

"So please, don't worry about it and don't drag yourself across the mud, it pains me a lot to see and hear you talk about yourself like that!" Shirayuki said with an honest tone that came from the bottom, of her heart, as she smiled, Marie just looked at her for a bit.

"Thanks...Shirayuki..." Marie said with a faint happy tone, as she briefly smiled.

"But...it doesn't matter anymore now, does it? After what happened, there's no way Tatsurou will look at me the same way anymore..." Marie said with a sad tone as she looked down.

"Marie, please..." As Shirayuki was about to say something, she was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door...

"Marie? Shirayuki? Are you in there?" Tatsurou asked from the other side of the door, after knocking on it.

"S-Shirayuki! Please, don't say anything..." Marie said with an embarrassed tone, as she looked at Shirayuki that ignored her.

"Yes, we're here!" Shirayuki said as she looked at the door, meanwhile Marie looked at her with a surprised expression, after jolting a bit.

"Do you mind...if I come in?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone.

"No, at all! Come right in..." As Shirayuki said this, Tatsurou opened the door and entered the room, Marie upon seeing him, hid behind Shirayuki.

"So, Tatsurou, how are you feeling?" Shirayuki asked with a curious tone as she looked at Tatsurou coming close to the bed.

"I'm good, you don't need to worry..." Tatsurou said with a reassuring tone while scratched the back of his head and smiled a bit, something that didn't last long.

"Marie...you know that I can see you, right?" Tatsurou asked with a faint joking tone as he looked at Marie, that jolted upon hearing him.

"I-I'm so sorry...that I made you eat something so horrible, Tatsurou..." Marie said with a very embarrassed tone, as she poked her head out from behind Shirayuki.

"Marie, you don't need to act like that, I'm not angry about it..." Tatsurou said with a reassuring tone as he scratched his head a bit.

"You should be angry...I promised something good and I ended up wasting both your and Shirayuki's time...I wasted ingredients and I served you something, that doesn't classify as food...you have all the right to be angry with me..." Marie said with a sad tone as she got out from behind Shirayuki and placed herself in a sitting position on the side of the bed.

"I'm really sorry...for making you go eat something like that...I promise that I won't cook again and make you go through something like this..." As Marie said this she looked down and began to tear up a bit, something that Tatsurou didn't let her do for too long.

"Marie! Please, don't say that!" Tatsurou said with a faint angry tone as he crossed his arms, something that made Marie look at him for a bit.

"Listen, Marie, I'm not angry nor I can't be angry at you when you had the best of intentions in mind, by cooking something for me and Shirayuki and I don't care if you wasted our time or wasted ingredients! You still had the best of intentions...so please don't be so hard on yourself and don't go saying that you won't cook again..." Tatsurou said with a reassuring tone as he looked at Marie.

"But, Tatsurou...I..." As Marie was about to say something, Tatsurou interrupted her.

"No buts here! Mistakes we all do and this isn't something that isn't un-fixable...so with that said Marie, I would love to try your cooking again, once you get better at it!" Tatsurou said with a happy tone as he placed his hand on top of Marie's head and began to gently head pat her.

"Heh? You want to try my cooking again?" Marie asked with a surprised and shocked tone as she looked at Tatsurou, while she blushed.

"But of course! Those stuffed tomatoes sound pretty good and after all, it's both your favorite food and something that your mother used to make, so of course, I want to try it again!" Tatsurou said with a happy and reassuring tone as he head patted Marie a bit more, something that made her blush, as she looked at Tatsurou.

"Tatsurou..." Marie said with an embarrassed and happy tone while she looked a bit down and blushed as Tatsurou stooped head patting her.

"And I'm with Tatsurou on that one! I also want to eat those stuffed tomatoes, so I'll help you get better with cooking, Marie!" Shirayuki said with a happy tone as she hugged Marie.

"Shirayuki, thank you..." Marie said with a happy tone while she looked at Shirayuki and blushed, something that made Tatsurou smile as he looked at them.

"Thank god, that Marie's spirits are back up again..." Tatsurou said as he looked at Marie smilling as she was hugged by Shirayuki.

"Speaking of which, do you two, know what time it is?" Tatsurou asked with a curious tone as he crossed his arms.

"Last time I checked, it was 17:20 pm..." Shirayuki said with an informative tone, as she looked at Tatsurou.

"What? It's already 17:00 pm?! Was I seriously out for 5 hours..." Tatsurou said with an impressed tone as he placed his hand on his forehead while he sighed.

"Well, no can do about it now, I'll just go drink some water, I'm a bit thirsty after being out for so long..." Tatsurou said as he turned towards the door and made his way out of Shirayuki and Marie's room.

"Ok..." Marie and Shirayuki said as they saw Tatsurou leaving the room and when he was finally gone.

"What is it?" Marie asked with a curious tone, as she looked at Shirayuki that was smiling.

"What did I tell you, Marie?" Shirayuki asked with a happy and smug tone, as she kept hugging Marie.

"Alright, alright...you were right, Tatsurou didn't get angry and he wants to eat my cooking again..." Marie said with a happy but also embarrassed tone, as she smiled a bit.

"Well, it's not just Tatsurou, I want to try it again too, and I'll help you get better at it too, I promise!" Shirayuki said with a happy tone, as she kept hugging Marie.

"Thank you again, Shirayuki...and I promise that I'll get better and I'll give it my all, just like when I train my fencing skills, and this time around, I'm going to make sure, it's the best dish you two ever ate!" Marie said also with a happy tone, as she hugged Shirayuki.

"Now that's the Marie I know, talking!" Shirayuki said also with a happy tone as she smiled.

"But speaking of eating...we really haven't eaten yet today and it's almost diner time...so how about, I go and make us something?" Shirayuki asked with a curious tone, as she stooped hugging Marie.

"That's actually not a bad idea...do you mind, if I look at you to learn a bit for now?" Marie asked with an embarrassed tone, as she looked a bit away from Shirayuki.

"Of course I don't mind, Marie, it would even be better, if you helped me and not just look! Come on, let's go!" Shirayuki said with a happy tone, as she got off from the bed, while she grabbed Marie's hand and made her way towards the door.

"You're a bit too excited, Shirayuki..." Marie said with a happy tone while she laughed and followed Shirayuki to the kitchen to make diner...
