First day {2}

As everyone calmed down again, Tiamat lectured us about how we can raise how ranks by completing quests. When you complete a quest, you receive reputation which is required if you want to rank up.

While she was, I felt a hand brush my right leg.

"Eek!"

Everyone looked at me with weird eyes. I shrugged while trying to resist. My legs are sensitively ticklish, and when someone touches them, I almost can't resist.

Yuki was gently stroking my legs. I grabbed her hand, stopping her.

"C-can you stop? I'm really ticklish here."

"Ticklish you say?"

I realized that I told her about my weak spot. Now she's going to take advantage of it. Not only did she hear it though, but the two girls next to me, Hana and Genesis, also heard that. Wait, why were they sitting next to me?

Oh yeah, I forgot. These are our assigned seats, but in my eyes, I think these seats are rigged. I was the only guy to be surrounded by girls.

I guess I'll have to endure Yuki's torture until class ends.

After class ended, we were given our dorm keys. There are two dorm buildings, one is for the boys and the other is for the girls. They are directly across from each other and they looked exactly alike.

My dorm room was on the 4th floor of the building.

When I arrived in front of the room. I could hear people chatting inside. I opened up the door and inside was Shin, Vlad, and Brock.

"..."

Shin and Vlad looked at me with welcoming faces while Brock was drinking away.

"Hey...Lucian, so your in this dorm too."

"...Yeah."

Each dorm room can fit 4 people. Yes, these dorm rooms are big. There is a living room, a kitchen, and 4 bedrooms.

"Did you already pick your rooms?"

"Yeah."

"Then I guess I'll take the one that hasn't been takin."

My room was pretty small, just how I like it. Since mine was in the corner of the room, it had a window. It was like how my room in my past life looked like. It was kind of nostalgic.

Anyway, it was pretty empty. All it had was a bed, a cabinet, a table, and a chair.

The thing is, we could customize our dorms, but we need the money, that's where quest comes in. Every quest not only gives you reputation when you complete it, but it also gives you money. And that's what I need right now. I'm not just going to wear these school clothes forever, you know.

We're allowed to go on quest tomorrow. There are only 2 classes a week and those are on the weekends. So during the weekdays, we could do whatever we want. Have fun, throw a party, do nothing, or go on a quest. Anything, really.

Well, I'm hot and tired. Again, I had to fly all the way here from my house.

I opened up the window, a breeze entered my room, and it wasn't so intoxicating anymore.

The skies were perfectly blue, not a single cloud in the way. The sun was on the other side of the building, so I didn't have to get blinded on my first day of staying here.

Ahh, if only this could last for the whole day. Actually it might, no one could possibly get in my way right now.

"Darlingggggg~!"

Of course, it had to be interrupted by someone. I opened my eyes and directly across from me from the girl's dorm was Yuki.

Damn it, why did her roommates let her pick a room with a window and why was her dorm room directly on the same level as mine!

"Do you want to sleep together?!"

She yelled from across the building. Is she crazy? Saying that in front of hundreds of people.

I immediately shut my window and closed the curtains.

I don't think I'll get even the slightest of rest because of her.

It was the evening, the clock in the living room read 7:00.

As I walk out of my room, I noticed that Shin, Vlad, and Brock were heading out together.

"Where are you guys going?"

"Well, to take a bath, of course."

"Bath? There's a bath?"

"Yeah, it's the boy's time to get into the bath. We have an hour and thirty minutes each and it just opened an hour ago, we should hurry before it's the girl's turn."

"I see. I guess I should come along."

I am getting pretty sticky. My room was all hot, and it felt like a heater in there.

"Are there towels over there?"

"Yeah, so you don't really need to bring one. But you do need a spare change of clothes, though."

"I see..."

I have some spare clothes in my spatial, so that's already solved.

"Well then, let's go."

When we arrived, I noticed that it was like one of those public baths in Japan, with the hot spring and stuff. The bathhouse is not located in the dorms; it is located on the hill.

We had to walk up the road in order to get there.

"Pant-pant."

"Are you ok Vlad? You don't look well."

"No, I'm ok, it's just that this road is pretty long."

"Uhh... we've only walked for 10 minutes."

"But that's long."

"Not really."

We've only walked up a few meters. Well, looking at Vlad, I can tell why he would be struggling. After all, his physique is that of a small petite girl, even though he's a guy.

I looked up at the sky. It was already dusk and the full moon was visible.

"The sky is beautiful."

"Yeah, but let's hurry before it closes."

"Yeah."

As we arrived, we immediately entered the bath. To my surprise, it was really big. Like a hot spring resort.

"Ah~, I can stay in here all day."

It was really cozy that I eventually fell asleep.

It was only a moment, but when I blinked, Shin was trying to tell me to wake up and get out. But c'mon now, why should I leave? This bath is at the right temperature. It's so... relaxing.

Shin then eventually ran away as Vlad and Brock dragged him away.

When I eventually woke up, the bathhouse was empty. I could hear a single peep.

"Huh? Did the boy's bath time already end? That was fast."

I stood up, but then I stumbled.

Splash!

Crap, number 1 lesson of hot springs, don't bathe in them for too long. My energy has been sucked out by all that chilling.

"Why won't he notice me?"

"Who knows? Maybe he's just not interested in you."

I could hear female voices coming from the changing room. I can't move my legs, all my energy is gone.

Y-your joking, right? Aren't baths supposed to give you energy? Or maybe it's because I was relaxing too long. Well shit, how am I going to hide now?

I returned to my spot, which was behind a large rock. As long as I don't make a peep or move, I won't get noticed.

Then the girls entered, I gulped and prayed that they don't check behind this rock.

After what felt like an hour, more women gradually filled up the bath. There were people everywhere, and I had no escape. Even if I tried, I can't since I can't move or feel my legs right now.

Man, if only someone could help me...

After another few minutes, everyone had left the bath area. I was sure that it was probably 9:00 by now. It's time for me to go.

Well, that's until I heard more chatting in the changing room.

"Can you guys teach me how a princess should act?"

"Well, of course, after all, I am a princess. Ohohoho."

"Of course, but if I were in front of my darling, I don't think I can do it."

Wait a minute, these voices. They sound familiar. It can't be...

I snook a peak over the rock and that's when they walked in. Hana, Genesis, and Yuki. There was also another one. She was probably their roommate.

Well, this is bad. Just when I thought that I was in the clear, these 3, no 4, had to show up.

I've been using restoration and now I have already run out of mana just so I could last through this torture. My feet were probably all wrinkled up and my towel was all wet so I couldn't even keep them dry.

I think I might faint, this heat is already getting into my head. Maybe I can just use a tiny ice spell.

After a few minutes, their group was talking about what powers they had and some other non-important stuff. Yuki was talking about me the whole time, which I was kind of ok with except that I couldn't feel my lower half body and it was hurting.

I stared at the open changing room door. I could make a break for it right now. Just need to-

I tried standing up again, but that was a bad idea.

Splash.

A small splash was made.

"What was that?"

"I think it came from that rock."

Oh no, they're getting suspicious.

"I'll go check."

That was their roommate. Now I've caught their attention.

I returned to my spot and covered my mouth; I'd sink myself into the water and held my breath. Even if I did this, I'll definitely get found either way. It's inevitable. I can't get in trouble on my first day.

After a few seconds, I didn't hear anything at first. Maybe all this mist had blurred their view, so they weren't able to notice me. Then when I ascended, that's when I heard someone breathe. I slowly looked over my shoulder and then my eyes met with a pair of crimson red.
