Tessa wanted nothing more than to hit something very hard just to get rid of her temper. She knew Laila was trying to protecting her but it isn't what she wanted. Tessa did everything she could to keep herself from losing more of her temper being a human isn't the best quality in the world, she would rather be a vampire or something dark that could keep her out of all this hell.
Tessa took a deep breath knowing that she had to still fix things with Larkin but that even seemed impossible in her position with everything going on. Tessa ran from the dining hall to find Laila though she should look for Larkin too since he went with her. Tessa sighed hating that she had to apologize for her rambunctious attitude towards another Princess. So, she stormed her way up to the second flight of stairs feeling extremely nervous all of a sudden even though they have been friends for so long now.
Tessa knocked on Laila's door with no response, she figured Laila must of went to sleep until she heard footsteps coming to the door, the doorknob turned Tessa stood waiting patiently as Laila appeared behind her door looking drowsy saying,
"Tessa, can't this wait until later, I have had a long day and I need sleep."
Tessa shook her head no replying,
"I don't think it can, I want to apologize for being cruel back there and I am sorry that you can't be a Angel until further notice."
Laila yawned stretching her arms out responding,
"For a Princess you seem to have this Queen thing set though I forgive you for being mad, I shouldn't have lied to you about who I was and everything. I can't go back home until I feel you are fixed, here come on in and I'll explain even though I am exhausted this human body is hard to get used too."
Laila stepped aside letting Tessa in, Laila closed the door behind her as she watched Tessa take a seat at the bright pink desk with a mirror, she walked over to her bed, then sitting down with as much grace as possible and Tessa scoot the chair closer to Laila. Laila took a deep breath saying,
"So, I have a globe at home in Ruitha in my bedroom to where I can see how good or bad you are. Unfortunately, when I saw what went down with you, I had to come down on my own and I have requested to become human so I could watch you as Queen though you did a three sixty before I could even do anything and that moment you lost you're temper toward me. Though, I don't want to go back home because where I am from it is difficult to say you are into same-sex instead of opposite and I can't let my parent's down quite yet."
Tessa grabbed Laila's hands bringing them to her lips kissing them gently replying,
"You are to fix me and you are crushing on me too?"
Laila shivered with Tessa's lips on her hands responding,
"Yes, I like girls."
Tessa smiled widely replying,
"I do too, especially you even though you are a Angel."
Laila laughed out loud responding,
"You are evil, so we clash and come together."
Tessa heard a throat clear, she knew then her father wasn't going to let this go and knew it wouldn't take long for either of her parent's to finish cleaning up. Tessa sighed looking at Laila saying,
"I must go, I will see you soon."
Laila nodded as she watched Tessa leave with her father and heard them bickering in the hallway. Laila laid in bed calmly thinking of how wonderful her and Tessa finally got along without fighting though startled from her thoughts Larkin came in without announcing himself,
"Laila, Tessa has assigned me to keep an eye on you."
Laila chuckled replying,
"Sounds fine to me, Larkin."
Larkin went back outside to stand by her door. Laila went back to her thoughts missing Tessa. She never felt something so amazing when they held hands, her heart leapt with excitement. Laila doubted she would sleep that evening and be settled, she wanted nothing more than to cuddle, kiss and feel a surge of love with Tessa.
