I went out of Nathan's residence after few minutes to assure that he wasn't here anymore, bringing all of the stuffs I got from him, I hired a taxi over the app and went to the nearest bus station going somewhere really far. Somewhere I haven't been. Somewhere I know I can manage.

"What destination are you going?" The ticketing teller asked me. I just looked at her as she took a quick look all over me from head to toe.

"What do you prefer?" I asked her back.

"What do you mean?"

I focused my self on the listed destination that's going to depart in less than an hour. "I had no idea where I should go, so what do you recommend? A place that's nice."

She then think for about a minute before typing on her computer and handed me a ticket. "It's where broken people go. It's nice and had an amazing people." And she took my cash.

I nodded, turn my back against her and sit on the bench in front of the Bus number she told me. It's boarding in 30 minutes and told me to wait until then.

"Barrios." I mumble as I read the destination name. I've never heard of this place but it says on the ticket that it's 8 hours travel time. Longer than I expected.

I shrug and stood up to get few snacks so I won't be needing to go out every bus stops. I bought quite a lot but also can fit on my bag. I saw my reflection on the mirror in the store, that's when I realized I was wearing the hospital gown still with my jacket over it.

I roamed around my eyes to the whole area and looked at the wall clock in the store to see if I still had time to change and buy clothes. 25 minutes until the boarding.

I walked fast to the clothing store and picked two random plain white shirt, a denim jeans and also, a simple sandals. And changed into it as I asked the manager for permission if I can use their restroom to change.

"Passenger going to Barrios, please fall in line and get ready to board in the bus WD2."

There's a large number of the passenger going to that place, and most of them are between mid 20's to the oldest age. And the urge to know what she actually meant for 'it's where broken people go'. I boarded in as soon as the security got checked my baggage. Sat down on the most back part of the bus, one seat had been available since I taken the other one near of the window.

I wish I had brought my earphone because it's damn boring for an 8-hour trip to Barrios without my music.

I closed my eyes, waiting for the other people to board, listening with my ears to know what's happening, the staff had to call one last passenger for us to go.

"Wait!" And that's when the seat beside me was occupied by the strange guy. I never dared to look and so I decided to sleep.

This is actually my first trip alone. I mean, I've never been to any other places aside abroad when I was young and healthy and the only thing after that I could be is the hospital. I wasn't complaining nor wish to be outside even if we had chances to do so. I knew better than any one else that it would be a waste if I go. Fainting, out of breathe, sudden bleeding and such would definitely happen. And we would end up being in an another hospital. Funny but it's true.

I opened my eyes and looked at the window beside me. We had been riding the bus for 30 minutes and I must say that this is quite interesting because this sounds like a field trip. Elders are singing along with the music of the bus, and the two staffs are smiling gracefully while giving out the food they probably bought in the ticketing department before boarding, since it's past dinner time.

"You got some food?" The man beside me asks.

That's when I decided to look up to him, shocked with his sudden appearance before my eyes, I want to get off and knock Nathan down.

"How the hell— what are you doing here?"

He shrugs off his shoulder and when the staff of the bus had arrived before us, they give out two dinner set to Nathan and the girl staff had been smiling like she was flirting with him. I can't stop her, any woman who would land their eyes in Nathan's face will eventually turn into heart.

"I followed you." He handed me the plate and gave me a smile. A proud smile.

I shook my head, "I thought you went to the hospital." Still in shock.

"I just knew what exactly you're thinking." He mumbled before taking his first bite.

I tsk-ed.

"Why?" He asked. "Eat your food, you haven't eaten anything." He added.

"You better off stay with them." I said.

He didn't answer. Instead, he focused himself to the food and so I did.

After we both done, the staff had took the plates coquettishly. I rolled my eyes in sickening moves she made.

"The priority is you." He simply said.

He stood up and took his bag on the baggage compartment above us. It was small bag but a lot bigger than mine.

"Take it." He handed me a small medicine organizer and smile at me.

"I took medicines from dad before we even get out of the hospital. I took for a number that can fit to the number of days in a month."

"You're out of your mind."

"You're the one who out of mind. How could you think of running away to the farthest place without even thinking your condition?" In that way, I looked seriously to him. I've been just scolded by Nathan just now. And on top of that, he slightly raised his voice to me.

"So you just now had nagged me?"

He waved his hands, "No, no. What I'm saying is.."

I cut him off. "I'm not yet dying, Nathan."

"Who's dying?" The old woman sitting in front of me, asked and looked at us. "You're dying?" She added.

"I am not." I said.

"You're newly wed, right? I'm right? Right?" She smiled at us that made everyone looked at us, "Aigooo, you're dying because of him? He cheated?"

"I wish he just did." I said and looked at him.

He smiled at me. "I won't."

"Oh my god!"

I don't know.

Everyone in the bus started to ask questions about us. I closed my eyes as soon as the questions started to get bombarding us. But Nathan smiled at them and keep answering their nonsense questions.
