Main Mission

"Who are you?" A young man shouted with vigillant. His eyes were sunken. His lips were blue while his skin was full of bruises and wounds. There were even a bit part of his body, such as hand and scalp that were bleeding, but it wasn't that severed.

That young man was Prince Anusapati. He was now sat at the floor. A table of food and beverages were arranged neatly on but they seemingly weren't touched at all.

At this moment, a beautiful girl with a feather gown in the mixed colour of black and white, was walking leisurely inside the spacious room made of loam or clay. This room was like an underground cave with a beautiful loam walls. There were many artistic carving on it resembled murals. A stone table and a grey mattress. A lots of delicious food and beverages, as well as a bookshelve. A small window that it was unknown where the light and scenery came from because this place was in the underground of the Singhasari Palace.

This room should be rather comfortable to spend time on if one wanted to be alone and far away from the bustling and lively capital of Singhasari. Although the word 'bustling' or 'crowded' weren't that appropriate to describe the capital according to the standard of modern person such as Marissa, but in this parallel world that resembled an ancient era of Nusantara, the population weren't that many to begin with. At least, this was how the impression Marissa had currently because she was still new here and she didn't yet to explore this world.

"Well, you could say that I will be your savior. Ah, I think that would happen if you want to be saved by me. If not, I will just leave you here and be killed by your so called father." The beautiful girl who was popped up out of nowhere, right, she was Marissa.

Marissa walked in front of the bruised Prince Anusapati and took a cup of unknown water. She sniffed the water inside and asked Mr. Angel through telepathy. "Hey, Mr. Angel, is this water poisoned or dangerous?"

[No...]

"Alright." Marissa responded with one word before gulping down the whole cup of water.

Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!

"Ahhh..." Marissa exhaled a mouthful of air, feeling satisfied that the water inside the cup was so fresh and delicious. There was even a faint fragrant of unknown flower inside, giving a very comfortable feeling for the person who drank it. "Thank you for the drink." She looked at Prince Anusapati in gratitude.

Prince Anusapati was dumbfounded. What's with this girl? Was she crazy? She just drank an entire cup? That was a big cup for the matter at worst. Didn't she know what's the thing inside that cup? Or she just didn't care about it?

A few moments later...

"Hiccup...!" Marissa suddenly got hiccuped. "Ah, why do I suddenly got so energetic? What kind of drink it is? Is it some kind of herbal drink that could increase power or stamina?" She asked in puzzled.

"Uhh?" Prince Anusapati was stunned.

'What happened? Shouldn't she suddenly got dizzy then fell into a deep slumber for eight to ten hours? This is a very good drug for peoples who had a difficulty to sleep at night. But this kind of wine also had another function, when it comes into contact with Apple Fruit, it will cause death to the consumer. I've been eating apple in my mansion when I was suddenly kidnapped and was brought into this place. And as if it's not bad enough, I just drank the liquor because I didn't realize it was that 'wine' at first. I've been very thirsty and I suddenly drank a mouthful of that liquor unintentionally.'

Prince Anusapati shook his head, lack of spirit. 'I'm a dying person now.'

Meanwhile, Mr. Angel's voice suddenly rang inside Marissa's mind to answer her question.

[That is a wine called 'Sweet Dream'. It is a 'normal' wine to make someone fall into a deep slumber. But the Host possess a unique constitution, so instead of feeling weak, dizzy, and sleepy, the Host will feel energetic and full of spirit]

[Nevertheless, the side effect would make the mind of the Host to be a little fuzzy and fall into a state of drunken just like any other wine]

At this moment, Marissa was looking at Prince Anusapati with a sparkle eyes as if she had found a very valuable treasure. She abruptly moved very fast and stood in front of the prince whose face was full of unreadable expression.

Marissa grab the collar of Prince Anusapati and mumbling softly with a flushed red face. "Ah, so handsome..."

Hearing that words, the face of Prince Anusapati turned red. He never had any affair with any girls before. Although there were some girls who were rather closed with him, but they never had a serious relationship, it was a pure friendship. Now, a beautiful girl whose origin was unknown, mysterious to the point that she could even enter the underground cave of the Imperial Palace without alerting the Emperor or his subordinates, there was only one explanation in the mind of Prince Anusapati. "But, no matter what, my cute Brother Dhanu was the most handsome man in the world, hehehe..." Marissa said those words as her sight turned a little blurry, then went back to normal.

Prince Anusapati felt choked once again. He didn't know how the expert in front of him could somehow know Arya Kamandhanu and even call him cute? What's the relationship between this beautiful sister with the Head of the Imperial Guard? Was it the intention of Arya Kamandhanu, one of 'The Thirteen Heroes' to rescue him by sending this beautiful expert?

There were many questions on his mind, but he couldn't be sure. So, he could only asked Marissa what's the actual purpose of her or Kamandhanu to rescue him, even when they knew that the Emperor was the one behind the scene, they still dare to save him?

"Lady..." Prince Anusapati was stumped. He didn't know what's the name of the girl in front of him.

"Hehehe, handsome, are you asking for this sister's name?" Marissa who was in a state of half drunk and half normal, asked the question while sending a flirting smile. "Uh, I shouldn't flirt with you. I already have a fianceé. That stupid Kamandhanu would surely clenched his fist when he knew what I'm doing. Hahaha, he is so cute, ah!" She kept blabbering until Prince Anusapati could only stood on the spot, not moving at all. This pile of information was too much for him to digest!

B-brother Dhanu was this expert's fianceé?

Brother Dhanu was really skilled at hiding this huge information from the whole Singhasari!

"Well, Sister-in law, could you really save me? But I'm already dying. What's the need to save me? I will be death in a few hours." Prince Anusapati responded sadly.

"Uhh? How come you are dying? But even if it's true, I will save you from that abyss. You'll be fine, as long as I, Mar- uh, Lady Senja still alive. Hiccup!" Marissa patted her chest to show her sincerity.

"Really?" The eyes of Prince Anusapati were glimmered with hope.

"Of course!"

"Well, then, I'll make an oath to pledge my loyalty to you from now on as long as you could save me from this place and expel the poison in my body." Prince Anusapati said in a very solemn voice.

He sliced his finger a bit to take his blood. After that, he drove his cultivation and swore to heaven. "I, Prince Anusapati, swear to heaven, that I will pledge my loyalty to the person in front of me, Lady Senja, for all of my life. If I was to break this oath, may the heaven punish me and sent me down straight to hell and never see the light in the world anymore."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sky suddenly turned dark. Many bolts of lightning were striking on the afternoon sky. The time was currently between two or three o'clock, but the sunny day instantly washed away by the bolt of lightning. This incident only happened for a few seconds before the coiling snake-like lightning were all gone, and the sun once again appeared on the sky, with a lots of wandering clouds.

Outside of the underground room...

The Emperor flew to the small hill behind the palace and stared at the sky while muttering to himself. "Who was the one that made an oath just now?"

Not only the Emperor, even many of the experts, and other citizen of Singhasari were curious as to who had made an oath. This kind of phenomena occurred because it's been a while since someone take an oath that involve the authority of heaven. It meant that this oath was very important. If the one who made the oath was an important figure who hold a governmental position, this might be capable to influence the social and political situation on Singhasari State.

So, even the Emperor took note of this incident. It's a pity that the lightnings were already gone before he could determined where the source might be.

Inside the underground room...

"This... What is this thing?" Marissa was confused as to what might be the small thunder-like thing in front of her.

Prince Anusapati was confused as to why an expert like Marissa didn't know the thing in front of her. But, he could only attributed it to the strange state Marissa was in currently that seemed like she was drunk after drinking the whole cup of 'Sweet Dream' liquor.

[That is the will of Prince Anusapati. It's like his soul. By giving his will to you, it's like he is giving his soul and life to you]

Inside Kamandhanu's courtyard...

"Where are you from?" Arya Kamandhanu asked while staring at Prince Anusapati vigilantly. He was feeling so shocked internally as to how this troublesome chicken could find the prince and even bring him to his courtyard. What did she mean by bringing another man to his room? Uh, why the heck the sentence sounded so weird?

"You, stupid Kamandhanu. How dare you to glare at me like that? I'm saving him, alright? As my dear fianceé, you should praise me because he had been making an oath to be loyal to me. Heheheh... Hiccup! Ugh, I want to vomit. Blergh!" Marissa finally couldn't hold back as she threw everything out of her stomach. But the problem was, she vomited right onto the robe of Kamandhanu.

Prince Anusapati who saw the current situation was playing in front of him, suddenly feeling a sense of danger looming over the entire room. Arya Kamandhanu was famous for being ruthless if he was already so mad. He also didn't like peoples to touch him. There was even rumour spread outside that he never actually touch Nari Ratih or Mei Shin although they both once were his fianceé. Not even holding their hands! He only possessed the status of a fianceé while the one who shamelessly seduced Nari Ratih and drugged Mei Shin with aphrodisiac was his elder brother, Arya Dwipangga.

But now, Marissa had been clinging to his arm from the beginning and even vomit on his robe. Everyone knew that the thunder would descend soon to this place.

"This, B-brother Kamandhanu, Sister... Sister in-law didn't do it intentionally. Please don't be angry." Prince Anusapati tried to speak up for Marissa.

Arya Kamandhanu stared at Prince Anusapati and observed him carefully. This man had been with Marissa for quite sometimes. What's the relationship between the both of them? How the heck Marissa even know where to find this Prince Anusapati who had been searched by everyone in Singhasari but couldn't be found? Did they have some kind of way to communicate just like what she did to him? How far is their relationship? Moreover, what did she mean by oath? The one who just made the oath to the heaven was actually Prince Anusapati? And it was an oath to pledge loyalty to Marissa? What's going on?

'Ugh, why do I even think all those stuffs to begin with? What's wrong with me?' Arya Kamandhanu was stunned by his own behaviour.

"I will make a soup for you. Stay here and don't wander around." Then, as if remembering that there was still another person on the room, he changed his decision immediately. "No, you should come with me to the kitchen and watch me make the soup." He said stiffly.

"Mm." Marissa smiled and nodded obediently.

Looking at the interaction between the two, Prince Anusapati was speechless.

A moment later, Marissa finally sobered up and felt a little embarrassed when she remembered about her action during the state in which she was drunk. It was the first time she got drunk in her entire life, not even on earth she'd ever drank a wine and gotten drunk afterward. This is so embarrassing!

"Hehehe..." She laughed sheepishly. After that, she turned her gaze to Prince Anusapati and gave him a bottle of medicine that he bought from the system using ten of her points that she had been painstakingly accumulated. But, for the sake of completing her first main mission, she could only purchased that antidote reluctantly.

"Drink it." She said.

'That's okay. Giving him the antidote could make him trust me more in the future. He had already pledged his loyalty to me. He's now like a family, the only person in this world that I could trust. Compared with Dhanu, my trust is even higher for him now that he had made an oath and give me his will. Why do I feel like I become a devil who force the human to sell their soul to me?' Marissa suddenly thought it ridiculous. 'Nevermind!' She shook her head silently.

"Okay." Prince Anusapati accept the bottle and drank it in one go without questioning whether it was poisoned or not.

Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!

Siiiiiiii!

Three seconds later...

"Arghhhh! Blergh!" Prince Anusapati suddenly vomited, but what came out of his mouth was the poison.

Looking at the black sticky liquid on the floor, Prince Anusapati felt relieved. After those thing came out of his body, he felt very comfortable. He looked at Marissa full of gratitude. He had been saved!

"Thank you, Sister-in law." He bowed deeply.
