Chapter 5: Attack of the Rebellion

In the middle of the night that no citizen's roaming at the road, Logan, Benjamin, Raven, John, and Leo at one of the Apex facilities, there are twelve facilities in the city. So they attack the nearest facilities and they move as in the plan. Logan teleport to the security and knockdown the security guards. Leo disrupts the CCTV, John sneaks at the Security Room, Raven create a solidified shadow and scare the guard's roaming, Benjamin creates fire to distract the guards, Kyla was assisting them if there are guards. After they reach the Security Room, they knocked out the watcher and they saw the monitors that they have more children locked up in the cells and then they asked one watcher's who they are and how they got there. The watcher's said that they are from the orphans brought by the military because they need to create a psychic soldier at a young age for military use. Leo was angry at Emily because she used now the children for the project and just to create psychic soldiers for military goods. Kyla calms him down and they focus on the mission. Leo asked another request at Angela to rescue the children at the facilities. Angela accepts it and she said that no one would be left behind. Leo confirms that no one would be left behind. After that, Leo open all cells and talk to the mic that all of the children need to get out because they will set it on fire. After Leo warns the children to run, they push the emergency button and Benjamin starts the fire and burn start at the security. After that, they run to the hall and they saw the children running to the outside of the facilities, and Leo guided them to the outside. After they go to the outside, there are soldiers with tanks rounded them and aiming at them. The children are scared and sat, and the soldiers that surrender them and they will have the children because they part of the project. Leo refuses to surrender and the children. Meanwhile, one of the children stood up and said that he is not a lab rat for the experimentation, and then one by one, they stood up all. Leo is surprised that even a child can fight too. Leo and the others approach the front and intercept the front and they hold their hands. After that, the leader of the soldier squad commands to fire and they shoot, John, use his telekinesis to block the bullets. Benjamin uses his pyrokinesis to create a flame wall to block the soldiers. Raven uses her darkness manipulation and connect to the soldiers and control them with her shadow. Kyla command Logan to teleport the children to the base because there are more soldiers to come, so Logan teleport to the base but he can carry four people at the same time because of his suit upgraded it to carry four instead of two people but there are twelve children so he will carry randomly and he tells them that he will carry them to the safe place that no one will touch them again. They agree and they gathered to the center. Leo uses his electrokinesis and electrocuted the soldiers one by one he shoots his railgun to the tanks. And then after they protect the children to teleport the children. Benjamin removes his flame wall and the soldiers stop firing them and the leader of the squad asks them who they are and then Leo replied that they are the psychic user, and then Logan teleport them back to the base. After they teleport them to base, there are so many children looking at him and they said that thanks for helping them because getting them tortured to release their psychic power and brainwashed them to use in the military. And the other children said that her friend was being deported in the military and used her as a soldier. After their talking, Miss Emma enters the room, and then she introduced herself as a leader of the rebellion called psychic users, and then the members introduced themself too. All the children they save was not awakened their psychic, so Angela took care of them and examine them. Kyla brings them food and the others create a bed of them. After the examination, Angela notices that they have no name because the orphan didn't give them a name if they are an infant in the orphan. The target of the military and Apex are an infant in the orphan and name them as their code numbers in their neck. Miss Emma was angry at her sister that even an infant used them as a lab rat for the project. Meanwhile, Raven remembers that she copies the data of the facilities that they raided while ago and she said that if it will help for their plan to destroy the plan. Miss Emma was happy and get the flash drive and plug it in her laptop, and when she saw the plan, she was struck that there are more facilities to continue their project, not just a project for a psychic user, they created a nuclear weapon that can destroy the whole nation with it and the weapon and then it said that the project called LAST SAVIOR. They didn't know what kind of project is that but why is it the LAST SAVIOR is their project, Miss Emma didn't know it too so they want to gather more information. After they get the information, they called Kyla if she saw something in her precognition but she didn't see it, but strange creatures are talking to her when she was asleep but she didn't understand what is it and what it is telling her, so they want to gather more information in the other facilities. After that, Lea called Miss Emma that she located the other psychic user went to her store, but she thinks that he works for the military because of his military suit. After that, Logan and Leo teleport to the kitchen of Lea store, and then they talk about it. After they talk, they followed the guy that Lea was talking about. After they walk into the under the bridge that no one can see them, the guy starts talking and then he said that who would they work them, and the Logan replied that they are rebellion called psychic users, and then he asks that if he is from the military, and then he said that he was, but he escaped for a reason. They ask for his reason why he escaped from the military, and then he replied that the preparation is for the end of the world, not for conquering the other country but for the world, and then Leo asks why. And he replied that he didn't know because he was part of the experimentation too that successfully being a psychic user called chronokinesis that can stop time but his limit is five seconds of stopping time and he is the first psychic user in the history and his name is Jonathan Sirius. After they are talking, Leo wants to invite him to the rebellion and stop the project called LAST SAVIOR. He refused to join and then he walks back and then he said that he's done being a hero and he needs to rest a bit for now, and then Leo grab his shoulder and he said that he needs his power to stop the project and stop the end of the world. He said that he doesn't want to join because he will see bloodshed of his friends dying in his eyes so he doesn't want to join and leave him alone. Leo was shocked because of what he said, and then he walks back too but before Leo and Logan left, he said that if that's what he wants, then it's okay for them, he was not forced to join the rebel, and then they teleport back to their base and Jonathan said to them that good luck. After Jonathan arrives at his house, Miss Emma was waiting for him and talks about joining the rebellion, but he refused. After he refused, she said that he didn't change at all, and he smiles and she said that without his help, the children will be a burden of their mission she gave to them. After he heard that, he was thinking about what Leo said that they need his power to stop the project and save the world. While he was thinking, Miss Emma left and left an address of their base, and then he was thinking if he was gonna join or not, but he was thinking to help the children that kept in the facilities. After one hour, Miss Emma back to the base, and then she called them all that there are one of her friends wants to join in the rebellion, and then Jonathan came in and then he speaks that he wants to help them end the project and save the world.
