The awakening

My eyes are closed. Hearing voices, not being able to understand them, like I'm half asleep. All sound ceased as I suddenly opened my eyes, awakened in an unknown room, sitting in a chair, no! more like a throne, and a huge black chain covering my whole body.

I quickly looked around moving my head, instinctively I first looked behind me, where a huge golden wall with some weird patterns was standing, then in front a wide dark room, that its end could not be seen due to the lack of light, it's only light source being some candles and their reflection to the golden wall behind me. Huge columns that their end could not be seen, the floor and the walls were black giving the impression of glass...not a commonplace

My eyesight improving by the minute, I grasped with my eyes a thing that looked like a person. . . a corpse would be the right term, not only one, some were away, other nearby, I could count 10

From the time I opened my eyes till discovering the corpses, a feeling of fear grew strong in my heart. Let's say it was the fact that I was chained in my seat or the complete silence in the room that calmed me down after a short time

As I looked down the only part of my body not being covered by chains were my hands, however, these "things" did not resemble my hands, these rotten hands and this animal-like nails had me scared

However, my attention turned to the chains turning slowly to dust, until they snapped, fell from the throne, and slammed the ground setting me free. In that instant I awkwardly stand up, having no clue on what to do

As I spaced out I got a glimpse of my reflection in the black floor, it was not clear, however, the sight of two horns growing out of my head could not be missed

"IM-POSSIBLE" said a female voice

I tried to speak but no words came out of my mouth. Not being able to talk I tried to find the source of the voice, a few seconds later I found out that the voice came from a girl that I earlier deemed as a corpse, she was laying on the ground in the verge of death.

I walked towards her in the hope of helping her. Then suddenly as I came close a voice sounded in my mind "WILL YOU HEAL HER?" it asked? in my confusion, I answered "Yes", I extended my hand as a yellow light was coming out of it, my rotting flesh was either falling or turning to dust, but it didn't matter, I felt nothing, not even my steps, I placed my hand on her bloody head but nothing happened, she was already Dead.

"WILL YOU RAISE HER?" asked the voice

"Yes" I answered without a second thought. My now skeleton hand had a dark light as I touched the girl's head. In that instant all her blood returned from the floor back to her body, her hair turned white and seemed to be waking up

As she raised her head and looked at me her eyes were filled with anger, and she suddenly tried to punch me with her bandaged arms, however she didn't reach me as her fist was stopped by a dark mist. Seeing that, the girl with surprise on her face lowered her arm, fell to the ground on her knees, made the saddest face I have ever seen in my life, and gave the impression of crying, but not a single tear came out of her eyes.
