Chapter 18
-Akina's P.O.V.-
"Because I like you!" I admitted with my fists clenched, while I stared at the ground wide-eyed, realizing what I just said.
I looked up at F/n whose eyes widened realizing what I just said, quickly I avert my eyes away from hers.
"I'll see you later F/n," I said hurriedly while I quickly ran down the hallway
I turned the corner and into the bathroom, and rested my back against the wall.
'I shouldn't have said that.' I thought to myself while I mentally started to beat myself up
"That was pretty brave." I hear a voice say causing me to look up into the green eyes that stared down at me
'She is much taller than me.' I think to myself, while I felt imitated by the girl
"Y-You're in my class!" I say and point at her when I realized where I knew her from and she smiled at me
"I'm Nami." She said giving me her first name
"I'm Kim Akina." I said with a small nod "But you can call me Akina."
"Akina, was that your first time confessing to a girl?" She asked me straight forward and I stared at the ground
"I didn't mean to." I say with a sigh
"How long have you been thinking that are Bi?" The girl asks and I shyly look up at her
"I think its been a year now."
"A year?" The girl said wide-eyed and I nodded and she pulled a piece of paper from her bag and quickly began to write on it
"Here." She said handing me a piece of paper with a number on it
"Thats my number, we could meet up sometime I could introduce you to some of my friends." She said with a smile and I nod before taking the paper
"O-Ok."
"I would talk more, but I have some things I need to do. I'll see you around Akina!" The blue-haird girl said before quickly leaving.
'Nami, huh?' I think to myself while I stare down at the paper in my hand.
-Back to you P.O.V.-
"Akina?" I call while I close the door to the house, and I hear some rustling on the couch before a head popped up
"F/n, you're finally home?" Akina asked in a questioning tone while she rubbed her eyes and looked at the time on her phone
"After watching the boys practice, I had to stop by the store to pick up some things, " I said and Akina quickly jumped off the couch and came and looked at the contents in the bags
"Icecream and popcorn?" She holding up the pint size of icecream, and a bag of popcorn that needed to be cooked
"I figured since tomorrow I might get released to play, we should celebrate with a movie," I say with a smile while our eyes meet
"Hey, Akina about what you said earlier-" I started to say but she quickly cut me off
"Ahh that doesn't matter." She said
"Yes it does," I say and she looks down at the ground, biting her lip
"I didn't mean to say any of that, I was just jealous." She shyly said before adding "I feel like in the last couple of days you have become even closer with Kageyama than me."
"Akina, I bet you already know what I am going to say then..." I say trailing off and she gave me a small nod
"F/n, I want you to forget what I said earlier, I don't want our relationship to change the way it is now." She says then adds "Eitherway, I think I mistakened my feelings."
"What do you mean?" I ask a bit taken back by what she said
"I see you more as a sister figure, like my younger sister that I need to protect." She says with a smile
"Wait so... Wait." I say over thinking everything, earning a a jag with an elbow to my side
"Hurry up, help me make this popcorn!" Akina said while she tossed me the over bag to me
"Wait so Akina, so does your grandmother know that you are..."
"Bi, nope." She says popping the 'p' "Only you and one other girl knows."
"Wait somebody else knows?" I pout and Akina pulled my cheeks
"A girl from my class overheard our conversation today, but its no big deal." Akina says while she tossed the popcorn into the microwave, and started it
"Akina-" I started to say and she looked over at me, and I smiled before I hugged her "I'm glad I was the first person to find out, even if it wasn't in the way you were excepting me to find out." I say and I felt her hug me back
"Of course! You're my Bestfriend!" She says happily and I smiled at her and the dinging of the microwave caused us to quickly break away
"AHHH THE POPCORN IS GOING TO BURNNNNN!" Akina says while she opened the microwave and quickly pulled out the bag
"Hey F/n" Akina says and I glanced over at her while I put my popcorn into the microwave
"You going to have to tell me this story." She said while she tugged on the jacket I was wearing before walking off into the living room, leaving me there red
'I forgot to take it off.' I think to myself while I start the microwave and soon joined Akina with the icecream and spoons
"So what the story behind that jacket?" She asked while she took a pint of icecream from me
"Whenever the boy's practice was over it was freezing so one of them let me borrow their jacket." I say while I try to focus on opening the popcorn so I don't blush
"Awww, that sooooo sweet." Akina teased, causing me to fail at attempt to not blush
"Hey Akina, I think I realized something today," I say causing her to stop and stare at me
"What?"
"I think I like Kageyama." I admitted and suddenly Akina started jumping up d down
"Wait, what happened to you being jealous and not liking him?" I ask and she stopped and told me
"Well I can't stop something that is destined to happen. So if he causing you anymore pain, then you can bet I'm going to beat his butt."
"I'm sure nothing bad will happen." I say and she smirks at me
"I can't believe you finally realized you liked him!!!" She said happily before stopping in her tracks
"I can play matchmaker now!" She says too excitedly and I shake my head
"Akina I think your more excited than me." I say giggling with a reddened face
"No, I'm sure you are just as excited. I mean look at you red face." She says while she sat next to me again.
The night went on with a lot of teasing about Kageyama and we fell asleep together in the middle of the movie.

"Akina, wake up." I triedly say while I shake the body that is asleep next to me
"You're going to be late for school." I say and she does budge, and I sigh while I give up and head towards the bathroom to get ready.
Soon after Akina lazily walks into the bathroom and starts brushing her teeth next to me.
"Goodluck at the doctors." Akina said while she rubbed her eyes
"No worries I will come back being able to play volleyball." I say with a smile before I headed towards my room and quickly changed.
"I'm heading out, I will see you at lunch." I tell Akina who is still in the bathroom and I get a muffled bye before I headed towards the hosipital.
Once I arrived, it didn't take that long for my doctor to come in.
"You do understand how many tests we have to do right?" He asked after he finished explaining everything we were going to do and I nodded
"I'm sure this is what I want to do." I say with and smile before we started my tests, and I quickly passed with flying colors.
I waited once again to get my results and I glanced up at the clock and realized what time it was.
'Wow I have been here for 4 hours?' I think to myself while the door opens to reveal my doctor with a smile on his face.
"F/n L/n, you are eiligable to play sports." He said and I happily started to jump up and down excitedly
I quickly finished filling out the papers, and soon headed towards Karasuno, excited to tell everyone the news.
"Akina, Akinaaaaa!" I said excitedly while I walked into my classroom at the promised time I would be there
"F/n!" I hear Akina from my seat and I quickly made my way towards her
"Guess what, guess what!" I said excitedly not realizing the new figure that was sitting at my desk
"You're able to play sports again?" I hear Hinata say and I quickly nod, and before I knew it all three of us where celebrating.
I quickly stopped when I finally realized somebody new was sitting with us, and she just stared at me.
She had short blue hair, that complimented her beautiful green eyes.
"Wow," I said wide-eyed causing the girl to softly giggle
"This is Nami, my new friend from my class I was telling you about last night," Akina said and the girl smiled at me
"It's nice to meet you F/n." She said with a nod then quickly realized what she said "I hope you don't mind me calling you F/n."
I shook my head and smiled "A friend of Akina is always a friend of mine." I say then noticed a raven-haired boy was missing
"Where is Kageyama?" I asked wondering if he went to the vending machines
"He called in sick today."
'I swear if you catch a cold its not my fault,' I remembered what I told him yesterday after he gave me his jacket
"That idoit," I mumbled to myself and Akina looked at me worriedly
"Hey, Hinata if the teacher asked where I went tell them I left because I wasn't feeling good after all the testing the doctors did so I went home," I tell Hinata who gave me a weird look while I stood up
I made it halfway down the hallway when Akina stopped me.
"Hey, F/n here." She said before tossing me a keyring, and I quickly remember seeing it in her bag the other night.
I looked confusedly at her and she smile "I told you, I can't change what is destined to happen so I figured I would help destiny." She said and I glanced at the keyring and noticed the address it had written on it.
"Thank you, Akina," I said while I ran up and hugged her
"No problem, now hurry up and go." She said while she softly pushed me away from her with a smile.
I glanced at the address again, but for some reason, I felt like I knew where I was going.
I soon stood at the front gates of an apartment complex and quickly headed towards the stairs.
I hopped up the stairs until I had it to the 3rd floor, then I quickly headed down the hall in search of 215.
"212....214....216.....215!" I say while I quickly opened the door to reveal an older looking woman who looked just as shocked to see me.
She had long black hair and almost looked like a female version of Kageyama.
"Who are you?" She quickly asked, while I just stood there with the door opened
"I um-"
"She is my girlfriend."
