In three years, Yoshikami rose up to the name of the 'Tiny Devil' of Nekoma. It was due to her freakish features, but whatever, her skills were recognized. She became well associated with the boys of different schools; it was her own fault that Bokuto became very clingy to the small girl.

Maybe because he was in the Top 5 of the best Aces in Japan- she just wholeheartedly praised him- thinking maybe he'd be like Ushijima.

She was dead wrong. And now she suffered sweaty hugs and pounces from the owl. Even years later, he still attacked her.

Anyway, back to her inner monologue.

Though her wish to become the best spiker in Shiratorizawa didn't come true, she was in the Top 5 of the best Aces in the women's sector. Honestly, it was greater than she had wished. She was accepted- and that was that.

It was more than she had wished for. Especially being with someone like Ushijima Wakatoshi. Her marriage with him was simple- only settled in the court since neither of them were interested in a grand sort of wedding.

It was enough that she became Ushijima Hoshi.

Thinking of that brought a smile on her face.

"Hey, what are you thinking?" She snapped out of her thoughts and met the gaze of her husband. He towered over her- growing well over 20 or so centimeters- she stopped growing after graduating high school.

So now, she was settling just below his waist.

"Hm? Just about the time I was crazy for volleyball." She answered. Hoshi looked at his attire and grinned. "You look good in white."

Wakatoshi smiled. "It's the team's color."

Hoshi rolled her eyes. "Of course, it is. Anyway, shouldn't you get back to court?" She gestured to the hallway that was echoing with excited screams.

He pouted, pulling her into his embrace. "We hardly see each other…" She giggled, hugging him back.

"You're bouncing around the world for your team. Of course, we hardly see each other, volleyball maniac."

Looking at them now, it would look like a kid was hugging a grown man. Yes, people still mistake her for a child. Cry.

Hoshi pulled away, despite not wanting to let go. "You should go. I'll be watching at the stands." Wakatoshi sighed again and kissed her softly on the forehead.

"I'll be doing my best." He looked down at her with a smile.

"You always do." She smiled back.

It's been nearly six years? Seven? She honestly didn't care. Her story as a volleyball player had finished as soon as high school ended. She solely focused on supporting Wakatoshi in his volleyball career.

Even now, thinking about it, it was never her story to begin with. It had always been Ushijima Wakatoshi leading the whole time. And she, Yoshikami Hoshi, and the others were just there to support him.

A background character so to say.

The short woman watched as Wakatoshi disappeared down the hallway, giggling when he had to stop to sign autographs and take pictures. After he finally disappeared, Hoshi went the other way to go to the stands. She'd prefer being high up so she could easily see the game.

Upon arriving at her usual seat, she was greeted by a loving, warm hug. "Woah there, what did I say about hugging?"

The small boy before her, already reaching her chest, looked up at her with a pout. "No tight hugs or little sister might be squished." Her father's burgundy eyes shined with a sadness that would touch anyone's hearts. Hoshi giggled, patting the child's hair. This growing child inherited the rest of Wakatoshi's features- from his hair, brows, shape of his face, down to his feet.

"That's right. You don't want your little sister to be squished, don't you, Kai?" He shook his head and she smiled.

"Very good. Now let's go back to our seats. Daddy's game is about to start." Her son, Kai, excitedly jumped back to his seat. Really, he got her eccentric attitude from the get go. She sat beside him whilst rubbing her protruding stomach.

Seriously, she was fine being the extra in this Haikyuu! story. She smiled softly, looking over her son. The best thing she could have was a family with Wakatoshi.

"Number 11, Wakatoshi Ushijima." She clapped at the introduction of her husband's name- her son being overly excited cheering for his dad. There were cheers everywhere, and she couldn't be prouder.

"Hoshi? Is that you?" She blinked and turned her head to meet the gaze of a familiar man.

"Eita-kun?!" She grinned at the former setter who took a seat beside her. Along with him was her friend from 1st year. "Also, Reon-kun? It's been a while since I last saw you guys." He waved at her.

"Nice to see you too, Hoshi."

"Mommy, who are these people?"

Ohira choked upon seeing the small boy beside her. He pointed at her then at him. She giggled. "These are daddy's friends from high school. Say hi to Uncle Eita and Uncle Reon."

Kai bowed his head. "Hello."

"Wakatoshi's kid?" Eita grinned. "He looks like him." At the excited jumping. He laughed. "Has your attitude, Hoshi."

The short woman grinned. "I know. I'm plenty proud of this rascal. Where are Satori, Hayato, and Jin?" She asked for their other friends.

Reon cut in the conversation. "Oh, they're busy. They're pissed they couldn't come haha."

Hoshi hummed. "Well, we could see each other in another time. I'm just glad to see you guys again."

"Us too, Hoshi."

She really couldn't ask for more- and right now- she can just wholeheartedly support her husband and be there for him no matter what.

This was the best kind of life she could ask for. Because in the end, this wasn't her story.

She smiled fondly down at the boys playing at the court, fighting alongside her Toshi.

"It was theirs."
