Designs

He finally saw a painter and immediately called the painter on his phone. He informed the painter of the work he wanted him to do as they later negotiated for an agreed price.

Tony had some pictures of the exterior of the building on his phone and sent the photos over to the painter as they discussed colours to use in designing the building.

Tony went for an eye catching and unique colour combination of orange and brown. The orange was to be used In the top half of the building while the brown was to be used to paint the lower half of the building.

The painter also had the freedom to do some other designs where he saw them fit. Tony checked on the painters profile and some of his reviews before he transferred a down payment to the painter and sent the address of the building to him.

Tony wanted him to begin painting the building the next day as he wanted to quickly design the building and place a signpost in front of the building even before the building was ready.

The next day was a Tuesday and training went smoothly and after training Tony and John went together to go check up on the building.

The painter was already done painting the front of the building and both boys could both agree that he was doing a fine job. The painter had combined both colours to great effect making the building more eye catching and interesting.

Tony and John stayed with the painter for a while before he finally finished the other sides of the building and Tony paid him the rest of his money while commending him on a good job.

After that Tony went to drop John off before he then drove home.

The next day after Wednesday's training, Tony had already previously used his phone the previous night to check where he was to go get a license and the necessary documents he needed to file in other to operate an arcade centre.

So he went there alone as John took a bus home instead since Tony knew it would probably take some time and he didn't want to waste John's time.

Tony went to the office he saw which was in a complex of a business district in Manchester. He followed the procedures and opened a file and filled up the necessary documents for his license after which he paid the necessary fees for it to be processed.

After a couple of hours he was done completing the process, Tony was then informed he could come pick it up in about a weeks time if he passed the process.

They also asked for the proposed place for the centre as they would send someone over to come check the building if it met up with the standards.

Since there was no sign or reason why he felt he wouldn't get the license, Tony could go on and continue preparing other things for the launch of the building.

The next thing he wanted to do was to decide on a name for the store as he and the system discussed aloud as Tony drove home. After thinking about it for a while he got home and informed his parents.

"Am thinking of naming the arcade centre 'Lane's Arcade Centre' what do you think" Tony informed his parents.

"It's definitely okay, I like it a lot." Tony's dad happily replied as from his voice he was definitely happy with the name of the centre.

"I like it and it's a name that can definitely grow on you as it's also a little catchy." Tony's mom also liked the name.

After Tony's family had agreed with the name of the centre he went into his room and called the painter that had painted the exterior of the building and collected the information for a designer.

Tony told the designer to design a logo, fliers and to design the name of the centre on the top of the building. He wanted it to be able to light up in the nights and be more eye catching and in the day the colour should still be able to draw the attention of people.

Tony was yet to fix a date for the launching of the centre so he told the designer to hold of on printing the flier after he was done designing the hand bills and fliers since he needed to put a date for the launching.

After he had paid a down payment for the works he went downstairs and had dinner with his parents before he retired for the night.

Tony used some of his free time after trainings on Thursday and Friday to arrange for some beautiful colourful light bulbs and other electrical wirings necessary for the building. He also bought some chairs and tables which he placed in some places in the store.

He wasn't in a hurry in setting up the building as football was his main focus and he needed to focus on preparations for the match on the weekend.

They were to play against Derby at the Man City academy stadium. John was also given a starting position as Derby were seen as an opportunity for him to show his abilities as Derby weren't seen as a very difficult team for them.

Tony also spent most of his time after training supervising the designer who was designing the name post on the top of the building.

The designer would be done by Saturday when Tony wouldn't be free to come see it till maybe on Sunday. So he ensured he saw the proposed designs on Friday before he then paid the designer his money ahead of time.

After a while Tony went home alone, John had been going back with the bus after training as Tony didn't want to discomfort him by dragging him along to the arcade centre.

Tony got home had his dinner and watched a movie with his family as he tried to relax his mind properly for the match against derby before he went to sleep properly.
