Alexander's Sacrifice!

The sun had already rested beyond the horizon when Evelyn opened her eyes in a daze. She tried her best to get up and sit well, but something or someone was holding her in place.

Being unable to move, the sensation of suffocation came down at her. Evelyn's mind was still not awakened yet when bits and pieces of her hazy visions started befalling down on her. Unable to understand the situation she was in, Evelyn tried to free herself from the hidden force when a low, deep voice made her actions halt.

"Stop moving," Alexander said as he unwrapped his hands, which had gone numb as it provided the place of a pillow for someone's peaceful sleep.

Once there was nothing binding Evelyn, she sat and looked around her. The memories were not strong, making Evelyn confused if those things really happened or was it just in her head.

"We…"

Alexander looked down at Evelyn, whose sight was smudged as she tried hard to come up with a question.
