Talk It Out

"And remember not to fight with the little girl," the Old Lady said as she opened the door to let Alexander out.

'How long has it been,' Alexander saw the time subconsciously, even though he had been seeing it every five minutes.

"Yes," Alexander nodded. His eyes showed his eagerness to leave.

"Alexander, let's have lunch someday, with the girl," the Old Man said as he stood next to his wife.

Alexander was silent for a minute, before he turned around, "I will ask her."

Alexander entered his room before he silently closed the door so Evelyn would not wake up.

"He still needs to ask her," the Old Man murmured as he pouted.

"Don't be grumpy, leave the child alone," the Ola Lady laughed as she closed her door. Her eyes lingered to the door Alexander entered.
