"Amelia?" Mia turned towards Amelia, who did not reply for a long time.

"Uhh …, so are you going to work with me?" Amelia smiled as she looked at Mia.

"Hmm …" Mia turned around to see Alexander, who was alone. "I will be back."

Mia swilled her glass as she moved towards Alexander. Her steps moved in the direction of the person who made her heart beat faster.

"Alexander," Mia smiled as she tried to move towards Alexander.

"How can I help you?" Alexander's eyes narrowed. He moved a step away from Mia.

"We are friends, Alexander. Won't you show a little more care?" Mia's words were said silently. Her eyes showed the sadness flowing in her heart.

"I never cared for friends. As far as I remember, we are merely an acquaintance." Alexander looked around as he saw Evelyn looking at him with a sly smile.
