Chapter nine: A monster attacks

Back at the Mist Wall, Pidge grunted as she tried her hardest to pull the tree that Keith used to block the wall. Alas, due to her human body and the fact that she was a mere daemon, she did not have the strength to move the tree out of the way. her efforts only sent her tumbling to the ground, groaning in frustration.

"It's no use," she bemoaned. "I'm not strong enough to pull the tree out of the well. How is Shiro supposed to come back?" She looked up at the sky, sadly, where she could see Shiro's image. "Ohh...I miss him, already."

"Hey, don't worry," Hunk said, Comforting her. "Romelle with him, So she might bring him back."

"Who cares", Keith's words replayed in their heads. "I can't just have him hanging around, otherwise, I'll never be able to fight the way I want to!".

"AAARGH!!" Pidge yelled as she grabbed her head. "That stupid Keith's more stubborn than a mule!! That's it!! I'm never talking to him, again!!!"

"Wait, you can't say that!" Hunk said, starred.

just in, a strange rumble was heard and Hunk looked in the direction it was coming from, his eyes widening as he saw some alien ship entering the forest and coming barreling towards, fast. Like really fast.

"Oh, boy," he said.

"What is that?" Pidge asked.

"I don't know, but it's big and bad and it's heading towards us. We gotta go." Hunk started to move away.

And soon, a giant vessel crashed into the ground, shaking violently from the impact. Pidge and Hunk were hiding behind the trees as they looked at the metal box that fell from the sky.

"OK, is it just me or is this something really scary, fell from the sky". Pidge said.

"Maybe, it's empty! Or full of candy. Either one of those two would be fine." Hunk pleaded.

The vessel then opened up with the four sides of it splayed out like a flower. In the middle was a giant red bi-pedal lizard-like beast that had a lard spire behind it. There was a circular like hole in the middle it's chest, along with numerous ones dotting its very flat arms.

"Uhhh...!" Pidge whimpered as the beast activated, its eyes becoming a bright green as it focused on her and Hunk.

"...Mommy...!" Hunk squeaked.

Back at the cave, Keith, Lance, and Coran had just entered and were looking for any clue as to what became of Orenda, but so far, they found nothing. Just moss, grass, pebbles, a lizard, and some spider webs. However, as they walked further in, Lance suddenly held out his hands, causing Keith and Coran to stop.

"Wait," he said. "Guys, look here..." He pointed his staff to a bare spot in the earth. "This one spot alone is free of grass and moss of any kind."

"Huh..." Keith gasped, silently. "It's the same place...this is the spot where Orenda lay injured!"

Lance reached down to touch the earth, but he suddenly tensed as he felt this overwhelming, sickening presence. It was almost like something was trying to grab him...no...more like entangle him. Choke him, almost. He gasped before he pulled away, swinging his staff at the spot.

"I feel the spirit of a demon! The spirit which was left here decades ago!" he cried.

"What?!" Coran questioned. "But that's impossible!"

"Can it be that the one who left the evil here so that no grass grows is actually human?" asked Lance.

"No, it's not human. It's from a demon!" Keith said, "but how!"

"Who knows what how it happens!" Lance inquired. "If Orenda was a human, then how could she have had the spirit of a dark daemon?"

"Somebody help us!"

"That sounds like Hunk!!" Keith cried as he, Coran, and Lance ran outside, only to find Pidge and Hunk being chased by Lasers!

"HELP!!" Hunk cried. "SAFE US!! SAFE US!!!"

"Hang on, guys!!" Keith called as he ran to their rescue.

Blocking with his dagger as a shield, Keith soon blocks the blast while protecting Hunk and Pidge behind his back. However, he soon dropped to one knee while making a strained noise.

"Keith?" Hunk asked. "Are you all right?" He then felt something warm seeping onto his hand, prompting him to look up and see blood smeared onto his palm. "Oh, no! You're bleeding again!!"

"Curses..." Keith cursed, mentally. "My wound has reopened again!"

"What is this thing!" Keith asked.

"We don't know, It fell from the sky!" Pidge answered.

Hunk, Pidge, and Keith both looked up to see the same beast that was chasing the latter as it's port on the center of its chest lit up before a powerful green energy beam shot out.

Keith braced himself and raised his dagger as it made contact with the beam, the force was so strong that it pushed them back an incredible distance. Keith quickly pivoted on his feet and rotated out of the beam's way.

"Ok, That's definitely not candy!" Hunk cried.

"That depends on who's asking!!" Keith spat while protectively Pidge and Hunk.

"What is that creature!" Coran said. "Why they're firing at us!"

"Well, who's care, as it at long as we defeated it!" Keith exclaimed as he charged forward.

However, the creature saw this and jumped into the air firing another power laser at Keith as he again raised his dagger and braced himself for impact. the two circled each other as they floated around each other.

And then Keith lunged with a side cut of his dagger, which the beast easily dodged. the beast's eyes then glowed brightly before another beam shot out of its right eye, hitting Keith in the back.

"Ahh!..." Keith screamed as he fell to the ground.

"Keith can't hold out!" Lance grunted.

"He's too injured!" Pidge announced. "If he is more damage he's done for!"

Hunk butted in, "Pidge is right!"

"The beast seems to know that Keith is in no condition to fight!" Coran added as its and Keith kept fighting off each other as the beast then raised its arms showing the multiple ports on the inside of them. All of them quickly opened and shot lasers in numerous directions at the group.

"Okay, it can do that too!" Hunk realized.

"Urrgh...!" Keith groaned as he staggered, but still, he kept fighting the beast. Despite his efforts, the beast kept firing the lasers on its body. It was at that moment that Lance decided that he had more than enough.

"That leaves me with one choice," Lance said before he reached out a blaster and fired at the beast. However, the lizard didn't seem fazed by the sudden attack and quickly retaliated by firing its own laser at the group.

The group managed to get all the way as the  Ground shook with impact and the cave crumbled.

"Keith! This way!!" Lance called as he plans to take another shot, but before the half-daemon could move, the beast fires another shot,  causing the monk to growl in frustration.

Not too far away, familiar figures were sitting in the trees, watching from the shadows while one of the figures chuckling darkly while holding quite several Sacred Jewel shards in her hand.

"I'm must bring graduate from you! Haggar!" Sendak boasted. "It was a brilliant idea, indeed, to embed a Quintessence crystal shard in that creature's body".

"Yes, it was a good idea!" she said. "Wouldn't you agreed, Adam!"

"Yeah totally!" Adam said, Looking through his Binoculars, "Its especially is gonna be hard on-"

"Way a minute, where is Takashi," he said.

Back with the group, "Magical Daemon art! Soul Stealer!" Keith shouted as he appealed to pushed down, but even so, the beast just kept  Firing up more lasers even more powerful than the last...and by now, Keith started to stagger.

"Keith!" Pidge cried. "Are you okay?!"

"This isn't good...my vision's getting blurry...!" Keith groaned while Lance continued to blast the beast while Coran and Hunk stood behind him.

"Lance!!" Coran cried. "Keith is in danger!!!"

"I'm moving as fast as I'm able, Coran!" Lance replied. "But first...I have to stop that thing!!" He then grabbed his staff and threw it at the wolf-like beast's face, momentarily stunning him before coming in from above. As Lance got closer to the beast, it then rotated one of its eyes to the back of its head, firing a laser. Lance evaded the attack but wasn't able to deliver his own.

"We need to find its blind spot!" Lance said.

"I don't think it has a blind spot". Pidge pointed out. "The thing has thousands of eyes".

"Laser eyes! Laser eyes!" Hunk scarcely corrected.

"What do we do?! Fighting this thing is like fighting an entire fleet at once!" Pidge exasperated.

So with a growl, Lance slammed his fist into the ground, creating a wall of ice. before the creature turned around and fired its central laser at the wall of ice before the arm and eye lasers joined in as well, the group braced themselves as the structure shook with force.

"I hope this thing lasts!" Coran said.

"Possibly!" Lance said.

Just in, The creature's lasers startled to lose energy, With in the last second, the creature slammed lasers into the ground, creating a cloud of dirt and rock.

"What?!" Lance questioned before he quickly sealed up his hand...and found nothing except a large crater in the earth, as well as receding footprints. "Curses... it's escaped!"

Haggar glared from her place in the trees, clutching her jewel shards in her fist.

"How unfortunate," she mused. "Perhaps I should have made that mistake more powerful."

"You should!" Sendak said. "But your machine  was excess!" With that, they soon vanished.

"Keith!" Coran cried as he ran to the half-daemon's side. "Show me your wounds!"

"Ugh..." Keith groaned. "What happened to the beast?"

"It has fled," Coran answered.

"Keith," Lance began, "I sense that Sendak and Adam are nearby."

"What?" Keith asked.

"I believe that creature has a crystal fragment and through it was being manipulated by them," Lance surmised.

"That would explain how such a strong beast with the power will able to attack us," Coran concurred, but then, Keith stood up and began to stumble toward the forest. "Wait! Keith!"

"Urrgh...!" Keith shouted. "Get out here and fight me, one on one, you coward!!" He then coughed up a large amount of blood before he collapsed on the ground.

"Keith!!" Hunk cried as he, Pidge, and Coran ran to his aid.

"Lance," Coran said. "that Thing may return for another attack. We should flee to Aurs and contemplate our next move!"

"Hang on, Keith!" Hunk urged as he grabbed Keith's sleeve while the half-daemon let out pained groans.

It seems that it would take a while longer until his wounds healed completely.

in the meantime, back at the swamp, in the morning, Shiro would get up and get prepared for the training to come. While Romelle keeps a journal that she's writing in. When Shiro asks Romelle why she's writing it, Romelle responds.

"Well, I have been studying Coran's book ever since...Haxus attack Aurs!" Romelle responds by putting down the ink pen and closing her book. "and besides, I think that Coran gave me  this book as a punishment!"

Leaning sideways on the doorframe, Shiro looks towards the window, inside their room. Ever since 3 days ago, now, since Keith forced Shiro, pushed him through the wall...and he hasn't come to get him since. What could he possibly be doing, he wondered. Was he still recovering from his fight with Sendak? Surely he would've healed by now...or maybe he really decided that it was best that they don't see each other anymore.

But even so...why would he ever think that?

"You got hurt because of me..."

His words still reverberated in his head and it made his heart clench. Did he think that he was nothing but trouble for him?

"Let's go". Sokka said as his voice comes from the main room. Shiro leaves their room and closes the door, taking a last look at Romelle's  Study figure.

When the two arrived at the top of the tree with the sun cascading through the leaves, Sokka turns and tells them. "The samurai has around several hundred members". Shiro listens closely to the lecture.

"It's an organization undiscovered by the empire. However, they still exist and continue to balance between humans and daemons. Nobody knows who is leading the band of protectors...Still shrouded in mystery". Turning towards the rising sun, Sokka continues.

"Daemons. they are the protectors of this world, Sometimes they guide us to right and wrong but sometimes they hunt for humans. They have powerful physical abilities and even when injuries, they can immediately heal themselves. Body parts hacked off will still have some sort of connection and they can grow completely new arms and legs." Pausing for a bit, he looks at looks at the reaction of Shiro to see them in shock at the information told of daemons.

"There also exist Daemons that have incredible abilities to change their body structure. If one does not use a blade of special quality, even after chopping the Daemon's head off, the deamon will not die". Sokka continues, as Shiro interrupts at this point.

"Was Keith's dagger is made of the special material?" Shiro asked, looking for confirmation.

Nodding his head Sokka replies, "Yes, but the Medal on his dagger is different, each member of the samurai carried a blade of the special material that can kill a daemon permanently when beheading them".

Sokka continues from where Shiro interrupted him. "The samurai fights the daemon with their mortal flesh and blood. Due to them being humans their injuries recover slowly and lost limbs will never regrow. Even so, they still fight  to keep the balance in check." Sokka concludes.

"I am a trainer! I train swordsman. There are a lot more of these trainers who train swordsman with a variety of techniques in a variety of places. If one wants to enter the samurai then must survive in the final Selection" held on Mt. Fujikasane. Whether or not you're eligible for final Selection...is up to me"

"Oh, boy!" Shiro gulp as he looks on to Sokka with some anxiety. But nevertheless, he has to keep going on, For Keith.

So Shiro keeps training each day, waking up early running up the tree, and passing the traps one by one again. As the day go by, the traps get deadlier and more viscous.

"He's really trying to kill me!" Shiro said to himself, Trying not to falling into a pit trap of sharp blades, just as a log flies towards his direction, forcing him to keep running and dodging.

"I have to train my hardest so I won't die during the Final Selection. I won't be able to be with Keith...I only hope that he is resting okay," he muttered.

That night, contrary to what Shiro had hoped...Keith was not resting, at all. He was inside of an old shack on the outskirts of Aurs and it was covered with special charms, courtesy of Lance. However...Keith was not happy about being kept inside like some common dog.

"OPEN!!! UP!!!" he shouted as he kicked at the door, his hands bound behind his back while wearing nothing but his black shirt. "LEMME OUTTA HERE!!!"

"It's useless, Keith". Hunk said while lounging against a bale of hay. "This hut is plastered with charms to keep daemons out".

"Why must I be sealed in?!" Keith questioned as he kept kicking the door. "OPEN UP, ALREADY!!!"

"Please Keith. Be still and rest..."

"Huh?" Keith muttered before he turned around and saw, to his surprise, Shiro of all people, holding his hands together, pleadingly.

"Your wounds aren't healed yet". he said.

"S...Shiro?" Keith asked. "But how did you-" That's when he noticed something peculiar: there was a bushy tail sticking out of Shiro's backside.

Pidge.

"Eh-heh-heh... Would you like me to sleep with you?!" Said ' Shiro '

"Pidge... Why you!" Keith said as he started to mercilessly kick the little fox daemon.

"OW-OW-OW-OW-OW!!!" she cried. "Don't get so mad!!"

"Keith, will you settle down, please?"

Keith looked up to see Lance and Coran enter, the latter carrying a pot of herbal mixture and a first aid kit.

"You've been knocking around in this hut for hours, now," said Lance.

"Yeah, because a certain somebody tied me up and threw me in here!!" Keith barked. "Get these ropes off of me!!!"

"No can do," Lance replied. "Charms are no use if you act like this."

"I SAID LEMME OUTTA HERE!!" Keith shouted as he lunged toward Lance with fangs bared, only for the monk to push him against the ground with his staff.

"hey, Coran, please seal the door with the charm". Lance said.

"Consider it done," Coran replied as he put the charm on the door.

Soon, Keith was lying on his stomach with his torso bare so that Coran could rub the herbal mixture on his back to help his wounds heal faster.

"You're not ready yet. I know how eager you are, but first, the wound must heal completely." Lance said.

"He's right," Coran concurred. "You can't underestimate Sendak? I know how he works! Isn't that why you made Shiro go through the wall?"

Keith's head flicked at that, but he didn't say a word

"Keith... So that's why you sent him away". Pidge thought. "So he doesn't hate him, after all!"

"We need you to recover quickly, Keith," Coran said. "You heed face your Enemies at your strongest, otherwise I fear your fates will be short-lived."

"Coran is right about that!" Lance said.

Keith scoffed. "What are you, a man or a mouse? I, for one, am prepared to face Sendak Or anyone else, here and now!"

"Lie down and get some rest, Keith," Lance demanded, sternly. "If not for us, then at least for Shiro!"

Keith's eyes went wide.

"You know that he's been worried about you," Lance said. "he would want you to rest and recover as soon as you're able...do you understand?"

"...Fine," Keith huffed as he lied back down, "You didn't have the guilt trip like that!"

Later that night, Keith had finally decided to settle down and try to get himself some rest to recover faster. Pidge and Hunk stayed inside with him to keep him company. As the threesome lied together in the hut, Pidge glanced over at Keith, who was lying on his side. The young kitsune had a guilty look in her eyes as she bit her lip, then she went over to the half-daemon...and that's when she saw something that she never thought she'd see in a million years: Keith's eyes, though closed, were spilling tears.

"hey, Hunk!" she said, trying to wake him up.

"...Yeah, what is it!" Hunk said.

"I think he's having a nightmare!" Pidge told him as she went over and attempted to wipe Keith's tears away...but then, to her surprise, his eyes opened up.

"Uh....s-sorry," Pidge stammered. "I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's fine," Keith replied. "I was awake, anyway."

"...Keith?" Pidge asked, causing the half-daemon to glance at her. "I'm...I'm sorry."

"I said I was already awake," Keith replied.

"No, not about that," Pidge corrected. "I'm...I'm sorry that what I think of you and I was just upset because...because I miss Shiro."

Keith stared at the girl before he heaved a quiet sigh.

"Don't you miss him, too?" Hunk asked.

"Who cares?" Keith retorted. "He is trying to find someplace else to live, away from us..."

"...But you do miss him...don't you?" Hunk asked him, again, causing him to turn his head away.

"That's enough questions," Keith answered. "Just go to sleep, guys..."

Hunk and Pidge blinked sadly at Keith before they quietly curled up beside the half-daemon, who tried to go back to sleep, himself...but alas, sleep evaded him.

It was true, what Hunk had said. Keith actually did miss Shiro, but what could he do. He made it so that he could never come back, again, regardless if he wanted to see him or not.

"As long as he's alive and well somewhere, that's all. I don't want to see anymore people I know die". Keith thought to himself.

Despite that...he still felt unsure.

Suddenly, he gagged before he sat up and coughed into his hand...and as he pulled away, he found it smeared red with his blood. He gasped silently...but then he sighed in frustration.

"...Curse that Sendak..." he whispered. "...no wonder I'm taking so long to heal..." He rolled over onto his back and could only utter one name.

"...Shiro..."

Back at the tree, Romelle sat at her desk, staring up at the quarter moon through her window. She knew it was past her time here. But with Shiro on the other hand, He needs to focus on training and practice with Sokka, and, yet, Shiro just couldn't sleep. he tried her hardest, but despite everything...he just couldn't get Keith out of his mind.

Shiro knew that he sealed up the wall and took his Crystal shard that he wouldn't be able to come back...but it didn't stop him from missing him.

 "...Keith..." he whispered, sadly.

In a deep forest, Adam was thinking and shaking his head, constant. It was clear that the battle with Keith and the others had been on his mind.

However...it seemed that his troubles were only just starting.

"Adam, what's on your mind!"

Adam gasped as he turned to see a familiar face.

"Haggar..." he whispered as the figure approached. "You're wondering what I was thinking, Well, you can just forget about it!"

"Oh... I see, but about your heart rate!" Haggar inquired.

"...What?" Adam said, nervously, quietly.

"Elevated heart rate, dilated pupils... Shiro means something to you". She said.

"No. he doesn't," Adam said, looks away as his voice semi-breaks. "he chose his side, I chose mine. ...he means nothing to me." but Haggar only chuckles sinisterly.

"You people are all alike. Such strong connections to one another". Haggar began while holding up a quintessence crystal shard. "It's what makes you weak".

"...What are you going to do with me?" Adam said, quietly.

"Now that I know about the samurai, what purpose do I have for you? Your little ploy of parsing out information like a bartering chip was never going to last long out here..." Haggar said. "But fear not. I have great plans for you. Every part of the machine is of value. Even you...Adam!"

just in, the beast tore through trees and shattered boulders in his wake before he ran out to the edge of a cliff that was bathed in the light of the full moon as its look ominously as it's body suddenly grew twice its normal size and his lasers grow, showing up with a bright green!

Adam backs up slightly, this isn't a monster you can deal with, But the only thing that Adam could think of, That he was in deep trouble.

Nearby, Haggar chuckled before she slipped away into the shadows.

The following day, Keith sighed quietly as he lied asleep in the shack. both Pidge and Hunk sat beside him, watching him in concern. Last night, Keith had developed a fever and he started coughing up blood, so he had to go and wake Coran so that he could tend to him...but that wasn't the only thing that worried them.

 "Ugh..." Keith groaned. "S...Shiro...Shiro...!"

"He was doing this, all night, too..." Hunk said.

"He kept calling Shiro's name in his sleep...he might have been having a nightmare about him ". Pidge added.

She then hopped up to the window, where she saw Lance and Coran sitting outside with charms set up all around the perimeter of the shack. The young fox kit gulped nervously as she ducked her head down a bit, just as the wind began to blow through the trees.

"I sense a sinister wind approaching, Coran," Lance spoke, Setting up his weapon.

"Stay on guard, for a malevolent spirit approaches." Coran agreed and soon, something came flying through the air: A certain creature, equipped with a plethora of laser cannons in its arms, eyes, and chest as it approached on an ominous cloud.

"We shall stop them, here," Coran said, calmly.

"Right," Lance nodded, and soon, the beast crashed against an invisible wall, shocked by a barrier of blue energy, created by the charms before they dispersed. Sometime after, though, the beast kept firing again. firing in all directions.

"Oh, no...!" Hunk squeaked as he looked outside. "That monster's come back! And he's even bigger than he was, before!!"

"Urrgh...huh...?" Keith groaned as he started to wake up. "What's going on?"

The beast scans the area and hopes to find its Targets.

"Is....is that the beast?!" Keith asked as he sat up, only to wince slightly.

Even though the shack where Keith rested was in plain sight of him, the beast still searched the landscape as if the shack was nowhere to be found. It was because of the barrier that Coran and Lance had set up.

"As long as the charms hold out and don't move," Coran thought, "Then Keith's hiding place shall remain invisible to this monster's eyes."

"What has caused such a monstrous transformation?" Lance thought. "the beast is even more frightful than before...could it be that it has another crystal shard implanted in their body?"

the beast's frustration as it pushed its laser face against the barrier, but the laser got knocked back by its magic. Even so, its continued to try and breakthrough. That's when certain figures, hiding in the shadows, appeared in the trees.

"Why is that thing firing in the wrong place!" Adam said.

"Don't worry!" Haggar told him "Thinking such a weak barrier could stop me."

Suddenly, a spear went flying toward Coran!

"No!!" Lance cried as he stood up.

"Don't move, Lance!" Coran shouted.

"I have no choice!!" Lance yelled as he knocked the spear with his staff. In doing so, however, the charms that held up the barrier had been knocking out of alignment, and soon, Keith's shack was revealed!

"So that's where you are!!" said Adam.

"AAAAAH!!" Pidge screamed. "HE'S COMING!!!"

"Not on my Watch!" Hunk said.

"Quick! Get out!!" Keith shouted as he tries to stand up. "I hold the beast out!"

Then Hunk walked toward him and pleaded, " No, you can't you're too injured!"

"Don't remind me! I can still fight." Keith told him. But hunk looked at him with Seriously is in his eyes and said, "Stop being stubborn, I know you're Invincible But you have to stand back  and let us handle this!"

He glanced back at the scene to make his point. But to his surprise, he saw the beast swirling above the shack, prepare to fire its green laser. And then Blast!! the beast blasted the shack into pieces, sending splinters of lumber everywhere!

"Keith, Hunk, Pidge" Lance and Coran cried out.

A pause...but then, the beast stopped in its tracks, As he looked up, he saw that it was none other than Keith, who glared as he held his dagger in his hands.

"So, back for more, huh, ?" asked Keith.

"Keith! You're alive!!" Lance exclaimed.

"Yeah, no thanks to you and Coran, over there!" Keith barked. "I'd have gotten out faster if you guys hadn't pulled me inside that shack!!"

"For your protection, I might add," Coran deadpanned.

"Gratitude is not one of his strong suits, is it?" Lance said.

But it didn't matter, the beast roared as it summons another Blast at Keith, who jumped into the air. holding his dagger over his head.

"Now is time to finish you off!" Keith shouted as he attempted to make a downward stab, but to his shock, the beast swatted him away like he was a mere bug, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Ugh!!" Keith cried. "Urgh...Darn it!"

"Keith has been thrown to the ground!!" Coran cried.

"Keith's will to fight is as strong as ever," Lance began, "but he's not completely back to full strength!"

"How'd he get so strong...?" Keith groaned as he sat up. "Hunk was Right, I'm still too injure to fight!" He then gasped as he saw something fall to the ground: the quintessence crystal piece that he had taken from Shiro!

"A fragment of the quintessence Crystal!!" shouted Sendak, Looking through his binoculars, and soon the beast runs to it.

"I have to get to it before it does!" Keith cried as he limped toward it, but then, something sped by and picked up the Crystal fragment before the beast could.

"Hands off, monster!!" Pidge shouted while she held the fragment!

"Way to go, Pidge!" Hunk cheer.

"Pidge, Hunk, no!!" Keith yelled.

But it was too late, the beast soon Blast up more Lasers, which gave chase after Pidge and Hunk.

"Whoa!!" Hunk cried. "Help us!!!"

"Hunk, Pidge, get down!" Lance shouted as he prepared to pull his beads away. "I'll use my  Powers and-"

"Wait! What's that?!" Coran asked as he pointed up at the sky, where a swarm of familiar  Robots was seen flying toward the group.

"The galra robots!" Lance exclaimed. "Darn it...with them around, I can't use my power!"

"Then what do you suggest we do?!" Keith questioned as Hunk and Pidge continues ruining away from the beast's lasers.
