Chapter 10

Michael stood facing Moore with his murderous intent growing as his hazelnut brown eyes turned darker and darker hues of grey. With each shade of grey, the sky changed to match the colour of his eyes and lightning bolts began to strike the ground. Moore's eyes turned an ominous shade of maroon as he tore up the floor beneath him to levitate off the ground.

Moore flew across the sky dodging lightning strikes as he glided. Michael's eyes grew wilder and wilder with each passing dodge and each bolt grew larger and larger with every minute. Michael felt himself slowly losing control of his power and tried to calm himself down, but every time he heard Moore's taunts, he just grew angrier and angrier. The rest of the group realized what was happening and they knew that they had to help Michael stay sane, defeat and capture Moore, and trap all of his minions, but that was easier said than done.

Louis and Rebecca took charge and split the remaining eight of them into sub-teams, each with a specific mission. The strongest ones, Kiara and Kylian, were to hold off and ensnare the Saviours, while Brandon and Louis fought Moore, and that had left William to calm Michael down. Rebecca had to maintain two barriers, the one surrounding the battlefield and the one around Britney and Halley, which made her the most vulnerable person at the time.

Kylian blocked any and all attacks from the Saviours towards the others, and it really helped that they were by a large body of water, which made it easier for him. Kiara's eyes glowed an abyss black, from their usual dark chocolate as she stared at Kylian. She then signaled to Kylian to make a wall of water and use it to trap the Saviours. His eyes turned their royal blue as the water of the sea rose at his command and made a giant dome over all the Saviours.

Kiara then walked over to the dome of water with her eyes still glowing and placed her hand on it. A snowflake formed deep inside the barrier and it grew and grew until the entire dome was an ice cage. Their eyes turned back to normal as they ran over to Rebecca to help her protect Britney and Halley.

Britney was hit by some powerful, ancient magic, which Halley hadn't encountered before. Rebecca dropped the barrier since the Saviours were all trapped and offered her help, while Kylian was instructed to help William calm Michael down, something he was clearly having a hard time with. Meanwhile, Kiara was to help Louis and Brandon with Moore, who was overpowering them.

Moore was floating around the battlefield on his little island as Louis threw balls of fire at him and Brandon with his arrows. Since the boys were so focused on hitting him, Moore easily set a trap beneath the two of them. He just happened to activate it at the same moment as Kiara's arrival. She grabbed both boys before they fell to their deaths and threw them at Moore, as the abyss black appeared in her eyes once more. They both took the hint and attacked Moore simultaneously.

Louis used his fire as a way to distract Moore from Brandon who shot at him as soon as Louis threw his fireball. Moore realised what situation he was in and just dropped from his floating rock right onto the trap Kiara had set on the ground. They finally put Moore in the cage he deserved. Louis was the first to walk up to him and ask him what he did to Michael, who obviously wanted to kill Moore.

Moore smirked as he looked at an already enraged Louis and laughed at him. He claimed that him telling them his and Michael's past wouldn't change the inevitable, Michael going berserk. At the time he said this, a gargantuan bolt of lightning hit the ground and sent a thunderous roar through the ground as an earthquake. They all turned to Michael, whose eyes had lost their irises.

They were just cumulonimbus grey with occasional lightning bolts, which appeared before them at the same time they appeared in his eyes. Louis ran over to Rebecca and Halley, as Kiara ran straight toward Michael, but Brandon stayed behind. He grabbed Moore by the collar and questioned what he did to Michael, to which Moore responded, "I just helped him remember something he had forgotten." Brandon, upon realising that he wasn't going to get any information out of Moore, ran towards Halley in an attempt to protect her from Michael's threatening state. As he was running, a bright beam of light filled everything in his field of vision.

When his vision adjusted, he saw Kiara sitting by Michael, who was lying on the floor. Because of his superior vision, Brandon saw Kiara talking to the source of the beam of light for a short while. It looked like she was talking to quite a large man in old armor, the kind used in ancient Greece, but he couldn't make out his identity, before she settled down beside Michael. As the beam of light cleared out, the ice cage holding the Saviours cracked enough for someone to shoot Brandon with the same magic Britney was hit with.

Louis saw the shot and yelled to Brandon, who turned around to see the ball of blue light suspended in space. He looked up and saw an old man in the distance. One whose presence was familiar to Brandon, but he wasn't sure why.
