Trainer blood

Rivers heart nearly stopped, the door was opening. River leaned against the stable door with all her strength in order to stop it.

"River" a voice said softly

River's eyes widen, was this her imagination or does it know how to speak?!

"River are you in there?" The voice began to sound like Jade. The door kept trying to be pushed open.

River slowly backed away from the stable door and it was opened. Jade was standing with a boy named William and the 9-year old girl before who's name was Sloan.

"Oh thank goodness!!" Jade sighed with great relief when she saw River. "We are so sorry!" She hugged River tight, but River was trembling too much to hug back .

"I-it's still here" River said, looking up at the black horse she was sharing the stall with. The horse was backed up in the corner still shaking.

Jade nodded, "its ok! Mark is here! He went to the tack room! That is where he keeps his phone when doing lessons! He is going to call animal control." Jade explained helping River up. "We can go meet up with him now that we found you" They started walking out.

River completely forgot about her knee when she was scrunched in the corner. Pain launched in her and she fell onto Jade a little. Jade helped River back to walking and they continued to the tack room.

River and the others were looking around incase the thing was still there as they went on their way.

"Mark?" Jade said softly into the entrance of the tack, "did you get your phone?" Jade stepped in, "Ma-" she stopped

"Jade?" River asked as she waited outside with Sloan and William. "What's wrong?" River walked over to Jade.

Jade was looking down at the ground, River followed her gaze. Jade was standing in a puddle of blood.

Jade slowly flipped on the lights, Mark was lying on his stomach. He was laying in a blood puddle, on the back of his arms were huge claws marks. One legs was hanging on for dear life in order to stay attached to the rest of his body. On his waist was a massive bite mark, rows of teeth marks were showing. Some of his side was missing.

Jade started to cry, River felt like she was about to throw up from the smell and hobbled around the room and started to look for Mark's phone. William and Sloan hugged and cried with Jade. River couldn't find his phone anywhere.

"Whatever this is...it isn't something animal control can handle." River said walking back to the crying trio.

"We have to get out of here..." Jade said looking at Mark.

River started to run out "come on then!!" Jade, William and Sloan followed. They ran as quick as they could out the barn. Jade led everyone back to the tree.

"Wait..." Jade said stopping abruptly, "wh-where is everyone" the tree was empty, no one was there. All the kids gone.

Everyone started to walk towards the tree slowly now.

"Stop!" Sloan announced "There are eyes in the tree." She said staring up into the branches.

Two big eyes were staring right back.
