Stella did her signature pose of being confused, blinking three times, putting a finger on her chin and tilting her head a little.
She said, "A what?"
Allen stiffled his laughter, "Oh my god!! Do that again. Do that again. You looked so cute."
Stella did her pose again as she was confused what Allen was talking about. But Allen just bended forward and pinched her cheeks saying, "God you're so cute. I want to keep you as a teddy bear."
Before Stella could reply, a voice called out from behind Stella, "Before you say things like that, remember your girlfriend. Or make sure that at least she is not in the same room."
Stella turned around to see June looking like an angry goddess. She was just glad the anger was not directed towards her.
Allen cowarded behind Stella and said, poking his head from behind her small back, "Sorry my goddess. Really sorry. You are the cutest being in this whole world. Why would I even dream of looking at another girl while I have you."
"Says the one who just called Stella cute and wanted to keep her." June said as she plopped down on the couch. But anyone could tell that she was pleased as she pulled Allen out from behind Stella and gave him a light tap on the head.
She then turned towards Stella and said, "It's a soulbond mark Stella. It appears when two souls meant for each other find each other. It helps us to recognise our soulmate."
Stella asked as Den also joined them, "So, do you have one too?"
June smiled as she pulled down the collar of her sleeveless top to reveal an 'A' on her chest.
Stella stared at the A mesmerised as she said, "So, the concept of soulmates is real with you guys?"
Allen grinned, "Of course. We might get into relationships for fun before the soulbond mark appears. But once it does, you never ever want to even look at another person except your soulmate."
June also smiled fondly as she looked at Allen, "This is the reason I'm stuck with this idiot."
Allen stuck out his tongue, "Admit it or not, you love me."
"Oh shut up." June said, blushing a little.
She then turned towards Stella and asked, "What's wrong, Stella?"
Stella, who had been gazing down thinking something, looked up and shook her head, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It's just such a fascinating thing. You find your soulmate and live with them forever."
As she said this, from the corner of her eye, Stella caught Den's hands turn into fists and could make out that he was gritting his teeth by his jaws.
But Stella pretended she had seen nothing as she stood up, "I'm going to finish my lunch, or dinner, whatever you wanna call it. I'll leave you guys to talk."
Saying this she rushed out of the room.
After making sure that Stella really was out of sight, June furiously turned to Den and said, "What the hell do you mean you're gonna take her to the council?"
Allen almost slipped out of the couch hearing this, "Council?!?!? What the hell, Den!?!?!? You can't take her to the council. Look at her, she's a kid."
