I missed you guys!!

Looking at Sharp so peaceful, another memory of a few months ago floated in his mind. Up on the roof of Sharp's cottage, he and Stella had been talking. And he had somehow fallen asleep and Stella had carried him down to her room and let him sleep on her bed. "What are you doing to us Stella? How can such troubled souls feel at ease around you?" Simon murmured, lightly cupping Stella's cheek in his hand.

Stella murmured something, as if in response to Simon's question and squirmed a bit, subconsciously leaning into his hand. Simon continued to stare at her face for a long time. He finally shook his head and muttered, "I can't decide who I love more. You or Helen." and let out a long sigh before settling down and closing his eyes.

Stella opened her eyes, let out a huge yawn and stretched. She could feel beads of sweat on her forehead and her neck, and wondered why was it so hot. She got her answer as soon as she opened her eyes. Three pairs of dark maroon eyes stared at her just inches away from her face.

Stella flinched a little at the sight of those eyes, but then she saw the faces they belonged to, and her face broke into a smile. "June!! Allen!!!" she exclaimed and launched into the arms of the former, who was sitting just beside her. Stella closed her eyes and let out a smile as she said, "Ah! I missed you June!! It's so boring being around boys always." June chuckled and wrapped her arms around her as Sharp rolled his eyes from the driver's seat. "We're not 'boys'! We're older than any human being on earth." he replied, looking at Stella in the rear-view mirror.

Stella was about to reply something witty when she was suddenly snatched from June's arms. "Huh?" By the time she understood what was happening, Stella was sitting comfortably on Allen's lap in the shotgun seat. "Hey no fair!! I was not done hugging her!" June exclaimed as she reached towards Stella and Allen stuck out his tongue and shifted her towards the door, away from June.

It would have resulted in a full war of tugging if Simon had not cut in in a grave voice. "Guys, please remember that Stella is injured. Her arm is still broken, and I would prefer if you did not treat her like a doll." he said, glaring from June to Allen, which led to both of them settling down in their seats, Stella still in Allen's lap.

"Oh! I missed you shortcake." Allen said, wrapping his arms around Stella, making sure not to hurt her injured hand. "Why? I'm sure June's home is filled with beauties. Surely you wouldn't have missed a wild thing like me." she replied with a chuckle, enjoying the coolness radiating off Allen's body.

"Yeah June has many beautiful relatives." Allen spoke with a pout, "But they're all boring as hell!! I think I understand why you ran away June." he added, looking over his shoulder at June. She rolled her eyes and said, "I did not 'run away'. I moved away. For studies and work." "That is not what your mother seems to think." Allen replied with a chuckle and the two of them started bickering again.
