It was Friday and the bell just rung for lunch. Cole held a blank face as he made his way to the cort yard to meet up with his friends. Though it was early summer he still shivered as the wind blew. It was going to rain again soon. Coming up to the portables Cole noticed Alexa being harassed by two boys obviously freshmen. Not being in a good mood already Cole gave a huff and made his way over to the three.

"Did your families teach you to disrespect women like that? Or are your heads that far up your asses?" Cole asked as he slapped a hand away from Alexa.

"We were just teasing her," One freshmen said smugly.

"Catcalling a woman and going to slap her ass isn't teasing. It's Sexual harassment," Cole replied. He gave off a Sadistic look in his eyes and a bone chilling smile. "Touch a girl like that again and I'll do more than just warn you," He chuckled. Alexa grabbed Cole's arm, this calmed his sadistic thoughts slightly reminding him his friend was safe. He continued to glare at the two boys before him who had fear plastered on their faces. They knew Cole is the violent type he wasn't one to simply threaten people. it was usually a then and there situation for him. Finally they left leaving Alexa and Cole alone.

"Are you alright, Alexandra?" Cole asked.

"Yeah," she replied. Without another word the two hurried to the cort yard to find their friends already at their usual table.

"Where were you guys?" Kade asked.

"Nothing, we just got caught up with a teacher," Alexa answered. She pulled out a sandwich from her bag and kept her eyes focused on her food. Cole noticed her strange behavior but brushed it off for the time being.

"So, Kade, Cole did you guys pick a knife?" K.C asked.

"I picked out five knives each of us could keep one of which can be used Sunday. All are as sharp as a buck knife," Cole explained. K.C nodded and focused her attention back to her salad.

"How about tonight we made early preparations? We could first head over to Cole's place check out the knives and choose which one to use. Then go buy candles, paint, and maybe some snacks and shit?" Kade suggested. The group agreed.

"I was thinking we could do the sacrifice in that abandoned hospital hella far in the woods," Alexa stated. Again the group agreed. After that they talked about things normal teems would talk about. Shitty teachers, gossip they eavesdroped on, silly jokes that only they would understand. For a few minutes their lives were considerably normal.

The rest of the school day was pretty normal, K.C, Zeva, and Kade had their next two classes together. Alexa and Cole unfortunately were separated from the three.

As soon as the bell rang the fave students met up in the student parking lot and made their way home. After they were all prepared for the evenings events Alexa went to pick up Kade, Zeva and K.C to drive to Cole's house.

"Here's the ones I picked out," Cole said. He gestured to five knives laid out on his desk. Each were beautiful and different. K.C made her way to the desk observing the beautifully made weapons, her eyes soon landed on a sheathed knife. It had a black handle and sheth. On the handle it had unidentified humans and skulls molded on the handle. The sheth had small butterflies near the top and bottom. The moldes were rainbow like giving it a creepy and beautiful feel. Taking the blade out of its holster the blade was sharp and shiny with what seemed to be a stick like object being molded onto the blade connecting to the skull.

"I like this one, it's nice," K.C said. Cole gave her a lazy smile and nodded confirming she could keep the deadly weapon. The other three went to look at the knives and chose from there.

Zeva had chosen a blade with skulls all over the handle and the sheth, the tip of the handle had a black Raven. The blade as expected was shiny and sharp.

Kade had chosen a knife slightly simular to Zeva's, but his was all silver and didn't come with a sheth. It had a small skull in the middle of both sides of the handle, and small swirly designs near the bottom of the handle.

Alexa had chosen a completely silver blade that had small swirly designs and had a curvy blade rather than a straight one. The swirls traveled from the handle upwards toward the blade.

The last knife Cole had taken it was a dagger you'd usually see in movies, black handle, shiny silver at the tip of the handle and all through the blade which had symbol which had smaller designs around it.

Cole twirled the knife in-between his fingers skillfully as his friends went over the short list of things they needed for the sacrifice. He thought back to the conversation he and Alexa had the day before about the seven deadly sins. Had she really considered him as Wrath? Was he really that dead set on fighting people.

The thought made him stop twirling the knife. He looked at Alexa who had been abnormally quiet since the encounter with the freshmen boys. She sat in Cole's desk chair tracing the carved designs. Cole isn't usually the one to be so caring within the group of five, he was the least caring at that. But K.C whom had a secret crush on Alexa didn't notice the strange behavior, Kade the literal mother of the group hadn't noticed. Zeva just isn't that observant when she doesn't feel the need to be so she definitely hadn't noticed. Cole was extra observant which is why he knew nobody else had noticed Alexa's different behavior.

And Cole from the bottom of his cold dead heart gave a sigh and got up from his bed, took the blade from Alexa and dragged her ass to the kitchen by the arm.

"What the hell Cole!" Alexa whined.

"Tell me what happened with those boys before I stepped in," Cole deadpanned. He kinda pushed her lightly into a bar chair and went to the fridge to grab salsa.

"Nothing, just stupid catcalling," Alexa stated. She wasn't exactly lying, they had done that, but she didn't give the whole story. Cole set the salsa on the counter and looked at Alexa.

"What else. I know there's more because it's bothering you Alexandra," Cole stated. He hadn't moved yet, he was watching her facial expressions closely.

"Promise me you won't get mad and hurt them? They don't know any better," Alexa says.

"I was going to hurt them anyways Alexandra. They're in high school they know what they did wrong. And they do know better they just don't care," Cole explained. He was frustrated, not at Alexa but at they possibilities of what they did to hurt his friend. At the fact that boys with such an attitude walk around freely.

"They made lude comments about my body, and tried to touch my ass. Not much happened since you showed up pretty quickly," Alexa admitted. Cole finally moved to the pantry and pulled out a bad of chips and set them on the counter with the salsa. He was more than livid at that point.

"Did you try and punch them at the most?" Cole asked. 'Stupid question,' Cole thought.

"No, I was too scared," Alexa answered. She wasn't the type to be scared of people, but Cole didn't blame her for a second. Instead he opened the chips and pushed the salsa and chips towards Alexa and grabbed her a coke from the fridge. She knew he wasn't the feeling type and she knew it was the closest she'd get to "it will be okay," and she was fine with that.

"Yo losers!" Zeva shouted coming down the stairs. "Wait never mind there's food," She added seeing the chips. K.C came bolting down the stairs and basically shoved Zeva out of the way rushing towards the chips. "HEY!" Zeva shouted as she tumbled to the ground. K.C flipped her off and shoved chips in her mouth. Zeva had gotten up only to trip over literal air causing Kade who was at the bottom steps to laugh.

"I swear you could trip over your own shadow," Cole joked.

"My shadow's a tricky little bastard. It likes to see me fall it its level," Zeva shot back. She got up dusted herself off, punched a still laughing Kade and proceeded to eat chips and salsa.

The group of five made their way into the wiccan store over an hour later. They had planned to get a couple of blank notebooks and candles from the small shop. They had walked around the small store observing the strange objects. K.C and Alexa began to gather their needed objects. The weirdest part of the store was the owner. The old woman glared at the teens from behind the register, as if knowing why they were there.

Cole was in the book section reading over titles. There were many history books on witches, spell books, and old wiccan diaries. But one book caught his eye, it was on the stop shelf. With a black cover and red old school writing on the bind. Cole reached up grabbing the thin book. Reading the title his eyes grew wide.

"Yo K.C! Come here!" Cole said. K.C came rushing to Cole to see what he needed when she noticed the book in his hand. It was Satan's Bible.

"What the- what is this doing in a wiccan store?" She mumbled. Cole just shrugged and observed the pages inside.

"You think it's legit? It's pretty thin to be a Bible," Cole asked.

"Its not the original, but it is Satan Bible," came a raspy voice. The two teens turned their heads to face the store owner. She stood at the entrance of the isle they were in. She looked to be in her late 50s, she wore a cloak you'd see in Harry Potter and her hair was grey almost white. He blue eyes glared at the teens before her.

"But wouldn't a real Bible by Satan be, I dunno larger?" Cole asked. The woman simply shook her head.

"Satan is much more different from God. He goes against everything God believes in. His Bible is meant to mislead his believers onto a path of sin," the woman explained.

"Do you mind if we buy this then?" Cole asked. The woman's glare somehow got more intense but she gave a short nod. K.C and Cole looked at each other for a moment.

"She knows why we're here," Cold whispered.

"How do you know?" K.C whispered back.

"She's tense, and she keeps glaring at us. She was calm before we walked in. Plus this is a wiccan store it's likely she can sense certain kinds of evil or good or some shit. Some witches and wizards are religious, not all though. It's likely she doesn't want us to know that she knows which is why she's allowing us to shop here peacefully," Cole explained. K.C said nothing she just nodded and gathered a handful of black candles.

Once all five teens were done observing they paid for their items. Each gathered enough money between each other to pay for the items. But Cole paid for the Bible separately clearly interested in what lied between the pages. His friends had already left the store and waited in the car and as Cole went to grab the book from the counter. But a hand caught his wrist before it left the table. He jerked his head up towards the old woman.

"I don't know what you kids are up to, but don't do anything stupid," the woman growled.

"I can assure you ma'am, our intentions are for our own well being. We don't plan on hurting anyone who didn't ask for it," Cole growled back. He jerked his hand away from the woman and walked out of the small store. He got in the backseat of Alexa's car.

"What was that about?" Kade asked.

"Nothing, just warning me to make sure we don't burn down the house," Cole lied. He chuckled slightly when Kade gave we strange look. Alexa drove off back to Cole's house where the five friends spent another few hours just hanging out.
