(earlier that day, 7:00 am)

Y/n was studying Cardiology and aspired to become a skilled and renowned cardiologist in a few years. She was a rich but simple girl with a focussed aim in life, determined enough to achieve it.

She was roommates with her best friend Perrie and a profligate girl, Yuna. You could say Yuna was the lunatic of the college. She could win a billion prizes in competitions of cursing, bullying and craze...(thinking of a yandere? well...worse and lamer).

Yuna would tease and bully most of the freshers and kids of her age too but Y/n and Perrie were the ones who stood against her fearlessly all the time to show her her place.

You woke up and got ready for her first day of the 2nd semester in college. Perrie had already left for class 30 mins ago. So you had to walk to class all by yourself.

You made your way to class when someone bumped into you. You stepped back and looked up to see who it was and saw Jin. You and Jin were close friends ever since grade 5. He was pretty much the only person except Perrie whom you could talk to.

Jin smiled at you, ''Hi love, how are ya? Been a while''

''Hiii...I'm great, just tied up with the new year arrangements, what about you?'' you said warmly, taking him into a hug.

''Haha, I can understand. Heading to Bio?'' he asked while you two walked towards the Science department.

''Oh no...my schedule has a change for a week because we have a new chemistry teacher, substitution and stuff..so I'm going for math right now.''

''Oh I see...ok then, carry on...I'll meet you later then I guess?'' You couldn't help but notice his change of mood although he kept his smile uptight. He was always the cheery type.

'' Yep sure, bye, have a nice day!'' You both waved towards each other and parted ways.

Locker hallway

(07:30 am)

You entered the building and saw Perrie in the corridor. She waved at you jumpily, you chuckled, nodded and went towards her.

Perrie: Y/nnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!

She practically jumped at you and was strangling you.

Y/n: Yeah girl! Calm down, don't kill me!!!

She laughed and took a step back when you finally got a chance to catch your breath.

''Why are you so hyped up though?'', you managed to ask after a practice session of 'How To Survive A Choke'.

She put her arm around your neck and said, ''I heard we're going to meet a new exchange student today and he's in OUR CLASSS!! Plus he has some DiCaprio looks! Omg Y/n, Imma pass out.

She screamed while giving you a walkthrough.

You guffawed and commented, ''Oh come on, stop! Yoongi's gonna be hella mad if he hears you.''

She tilted her head like a cute, innocent kitten which she certainly is not- and asked, ''Uh..why?''

''You knowww.......boyfriends are usually disappointed if their girl seems interested in another man.'' You shrugged and walked away towards class.

She was all red!!! She didn't utter a word after that and followed you quietly to class. You chuckled at this yet again. Exactly what you had expected. She hadn't realised yet but she was madly in love with him but never accepted it. The whole university except her knew it.

(Classroom, 1st period-Math)

Cheeni: Hi Y/n! Hi Perrie!

Cheeni was another good friend of yours. Helpful and kind; and a beautiful soul.

Y/n: Hi!!! Where's Mr. Shi Hyuk?

Perrie: Yeah, its almost 8. Where is he?

Cheeni: Oh! He said he had some work in the office and would get the new kid his schedule so we could expect a delay in class.

Y/n: Oh ok, I get it.

Perrie was wiggling her eyebrows when you looked at her. She stopped goofing around when you said, ''Yoongi's coming over tonight right? I need to talk to him for a minute I guess-''

''Shut up, I'm innocent okie?'' She looked at you with doe eyes and murmured when you left her hanging there and took your seat.

Perrie: Imma take a lil nap then :)

Y/n: No you won't Sleeping Beauty!

You slightly slapped her arm and she pouted stupidly while making a stooopid face, staring at you.

Perrie: Owwww!!!! I hate youuuuuu Y/nnnieeeee!!!!!

Y/n: *Kekekkek* I love you too Perrie Poppins <3

(10 mins of joy)

Mr. Shi Hyuk walks into the class but he had company with him.

You tried to have a better view by getting into an awkward half sitting and standing position, minutes after which you gave up, being the typical lazy you. You just tried to catch a glimpse of an apparent tall figure by which you could guess it was the new guy.

You didn't bother much as you were uninterested in such stuff and sat back on your chair.

Despite having a powerful background which no one knew of, you would often be picked on at and be made fun of by a lot of jealous girls who thought you weren't WORTHY OF YOUR WEALTH as everyone quite knew that the institution came under your BeLOvEd faTHeR'S LEGAL empire; but when there were not many people around, you gave back making them shut their nasty traps.

(Your POV)

Sir: Okay class... This young man here is your new classmate from now on *he looks at the kid and smiles* There you go, introduce yourself to your study mates.

?: *he hesitated a bit but spoke up after 3 seconds*

''Hello everyone!'' An unexpected deep and raspy voice took you by surprise, that's when you paid attention to him and looked at him. ''My name is Kim Taehyun. I'm an immigrant from Kuwait. I promise to do my best and look forward to making great friends.'' *he smiled and looked back at the professor*

(yes..you read it right...Tae hyun...and yes...this IS a tea ff...just wait)

You got so lost in his facial structure and built that you didn't realise that his intro was over. Not soon after which you realised he was sitting diagonal to you in the next row.

You had to admit, this guy had got a charm but at the same time, you could sense something a bit off about him.

What was it? Could you have been wrong? No! Your gut feeling had always proved to be right in the past.

You glanced over your shoulder and looked behind at him for a second, his eyes were on YOU! You gulped at this and passed a kind of a real and fake smile which you had expertise in. He returned a shiny, cute and boxy one that looked quite genuine but unfortunately wasn't enough to shake that gut feeling of yours.

You shrugged it off ultimately and classes proceeded as usual except for the fact that you always felt those pair of orbs staring at you and scanning you. Whenever you looked over your right shoulder, you found him doing strange things which was enough proof to you that he was indeed looking at you.

''Am I supposed to interpret him as creepy or charming?'' You thought
