=A New Leaf Of Life=

(3 Years Later)

It has been 3 years now since the show you all put up at the wedding engagement. Presently, you all have moved on in your respective worlds. Some in touch, some simply in the flow of their own living, devising their personal fortune.

Taehyung carried on with his life in the underworld with the Descendants, stronger than ever, out on the hunt for something that values his life and name. He was finding a certain someone.

Y/n was now a proficient cardiologist, working full on roll. Keeping a low profile from her ex-relatives aka the mafia fam, she worked hard, studied well and proved to be one of the best in her field, surpassing some of the doctors with a longer experience in their medical careers.

Jin and Perrie were 3 years into dating now and are about to get married soon enough. You were still really close with them. Jin had his own restaurant franchise, 'Jjangu Fine Dining' which was multinational and touched heights in Seoul, South Korea as well as in cities of Japan. Perrie on the other hand got into research in Sciences and was doing fairly well in her life.

Jungkook was still with Taehyung, never left him alone. Cheeni was certainly disappointed with all that happened that day and needed an explanation as to what had been going on. When Jungkook explained some of the back story, she felt sheerly deluded. In fact, she had even tried to cut all means of contact with Jungkook and company but Jungkook eventually made it up to her and they both were well and good once again, in love.

Jimin had been trying to get Taehyung and you into a talk since 1 year but neither of you budged. You hated him and he said he would talk to you only after achieving something.

Your father was in complete disappointment and had a new flare of agony within himself that was centred around you. He had stopped supporting you financially too since that day. That period was really hard for you to overcome and get passed through but Perrie and her mum had your back then and even paid for your university charges. Her friendship and warmth had held you together in one piece. You were obliged to them and utilised it to the fullest. 

Look at you now, one of the best doctors in town! Independent, confident, prosperous, compassionate, an ideal doctor for your interns and juniors and an honest and chaste human being.

"Is he in the house right now?" Taehyung questioned Jungkook in an extremely low voice while attempting to be perfectly hunched and hidden behind the bush. "Yes, I affirmed it an hour ago." Jungkook said, loading his revolver and stretching his arms, preparing himself for the next few hours which are going to be hella tiresome.

"Remember, as soon as he seems off guard, move and barge in." Taehyung states going through the plan once again. "Yes hyung!" Jungkook hailed.

3 hours had passed now. Jungkook and Taehyung were already in now and had received the information they had come for. It was a chip that Klaus had ordered to obtain furtively.

On their way out, they were taken aback by an unexpected net of firing....

"Pump harder I said!" You startled the intern. "I can't see the coronary artery Miss..." he panicked. The monitor started beeping with a rapid and unstable frequency. You took a glance at it and widened your eyes, 20 beats/second. Immediately pushing the intern out of your way, you took charge and gave a charge of 200J using the defibrillator. It was at 10 now. 8, 9, 7; second wave and he was stable once again. The scrub nurse exhaled in relief and got a towel to wipe your forehead. You refused through an eye look as you were already in the middle of sutures, working on the ruptured artery now. "Release the clamp," you said slightly tilting your head and eyeing the intern. He did so and handed it to the scrub nurse. As soon as he did it, you inserted a stent in there and looked at the patient's vitals. All good!

"Wrap up and come out. Remember! Cleaning up inside, internal sutures, suction, external stitches, cleaning up on the outside and double-checking EVERYTHING!"you said strictly looking at the two interns and looked at the scrub nurse, patting her shoulder, "Good work Liz. Keep an eye out," you said in doubts of them ruining the case.

"Phew-" you let out taking off your surgical cap and shoving it including your robe and gloves into the bin outside. 

You changed and went into the main building where your office was, to take your belongings. It was time you went off-duty... home... now.

You grabbed your keys, took some signed discharge papers out of your safe and proceeded to the reception after locking your office.

"Hey Susan! Here you go. Room 15 and 18." "Thanks Dr Salvatore. Leaving?" "Yes, it's overtime and he'll kill me but let's say I'll reincarnate for tomorrow," Susan and you chuckled. "See you.." she said and you left towards your car.

"Y/nnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!" You heard a familiar male voice call you. There came an instant smile on your face. You ran and hugged him, "Jooooooooooooooooonieeeee!!!"

He swept you off your feet and swirled you around in the air, pecking your forehead. "How'd my princess do today?" he asked. "Great as always :D" you said with a shade of playfulness and a boasty answer. "Aiiii" you both laughed. "Let's goooo!!" He carried you in his arms in bridal style as you whined and he laughed as a response.
