The Transformation of Crimson Fire [EDITED]

Noah was excited to see the difference between the phoenix's fire and his own fire. He felt that his fire could transform into something more powerful but he lacked a critical point and he did not know what it was. Maybe with Jean's phoenix fire, he would be able to figure it out.

He opened a portal directly at Xavier Institute. It seemed that Jean was waiting for him.

Jean was smiling from ear to ear, "Let's go to the danger room."

She seemed fully aware of my purpose. She also seemed ready for revenge. Noah only nodded and followed behind her.

Only the two of them were inside the danger room, everyone else was watching from outside, they were also curious about Jean power, it seemed.

Jean was getting into her stance, she really wanted to have a fight.

But Noah was not on the same sheet as her when he said he wanted to see her fire. He didn't ask Charles to activate the simulation in the danger room. He just wanted to be in the danger room to contain their power if they were not in control.

Noah walked into the center of the room and sat down cross legged, "Come here, Jean."

Jean was startled, "Aren't we going to fight?"

Without a change of expression, he said, "No, not today."

Jean was dejected but she still went to Noah and sat in front of him.

He put his palms onto Jean's palms as they sat against each other. Noah seemed serious as he was afraid of unexpected things, after all this the Phoenix. "Follow my order."

Noah then brought his crimson fire. At this moment his right crimson eye and his right tattoo was exuding brilliant shine. He was covered in fire, his whole body. However, Jean's palm, which was connected to Noah, did not feel any heat. It was as if Noah had full control of his fire. Jean was envious of his control. Jean admitted she was behind him in terms of control.

Jean also summoned out her phoenix fire. Her fire was more orange in color. Even though Jean could not control her fire from injuring Noah, Noah's fire had already shielded him from her fire.

Everyone else outside of the danger room was seeing something unbelievable happening. There were two flames shrouding their user, one crimson and the other one was orange in color. The fire seemed connected at their users' palms.

At this moment, Noah tried to merge his fire with the orange fire. He was the only one who could do so as Jean's control would only cause him trouble. And it seemed, it worked, but it required some time. Only after one hour, Noah succeeded in combining the two different types of fire. There was no more crimson fire or the orange fire. There was a bloody red fire covering the two of them.

Right at that moment, Noah had noticed the differences between his fire and the phoenix fire. He was lacking divinity. The Phoenix was an entity at the same level of the Gods after all. As her avatar, Jean would be able to use some of her divinity and thus she became one the most powerful mutants in the world.

As Noah had already seen the differences, he asked Jean to leave him alone in the danger room. He also asked for Charles to use the danger room alone. He wanted to transform his crimson fire.

His crimson fire was special. It was as special as the phoenix fire. However, the differences was that his crimson fire was entirely his but Jean's fire was not hers. In a sense, she was borrowing it. Noah' fire had the capability to achieve more, but he was a human hence, he lacked divinity to transform his fire. Now, his fire had been introduced and connected to Jean's fire divinity. He could proceed to take a bit of Jean's divinity, cleansed it with his own fire and combined them. This way, he would manage to transform his fire into a divine fire.

His crimson fire was flaring surrounding him. Little by little, the fire began to shrink towards Noah. It was hard to compress his fire but it was not entirely impossible. Only after a few moments was he able to shrink it into fiery glob in front of him. With the pure divinity, which was not connected to any gods he managed to obtain from Jean, the fire transformed.

The fire looked the same as always, crimson. But this time it possessed a kind of nobility which deserved respect from those who managed to catch a glimpse of it.

Noah absorbed it back into his body. His power really increased a lot but it became unstable. His body was filled with two kinds of elementals - fire and lightning. After all these years, he always achieved a balance between the two, never to have a huge gap between the two. But now his fire had far surpassed his lightning. It seemed he would not be able to use his combination magic yet. Only after he transformed his lightning would he solve this problem. However, he could not use the same divinity from Jean to transform his lightning.

First if all, it was a question of compatibility. Jean's divinity came from a being of fire. How could he introduce it to his lightning. He would explode if that did not go well. And secondly, because they were not the same elements, his lightning was not able to cleanse the fire divinity. If that happened the divine lightning he would create would not belong to him entirely. He need a pure divinity for him to fully control his fire and lightning without any existence that would be able to influence them.

Looked like he needed to wait until Thor arrived on Earth. He only knew that person who was the only one that possessed the lightning divinity.

Although Ororo possessed control over lightning and was blessed by a Minor God, her divinity wouldn't in helping Noah's purple lightning transformation towards a higher lever, a divine lightning. This was because of Ororo's real power was atmokinesis, which was the ability to manipulate and control the weather. Hence, her lightning was not fully compatible with Noah's lightning. Of course, she could be his back-up plan in case of Thor's arrival.
