Reality is a b*tch (rewrite)

Jonathan swore out loud. It felt like a sudden cold reminder that immediately knocked Jonathan back to the bottom.

'Reality is always reality. I can't change that.'

It felt like a ruined date he had spent so much money for to make it special and when it was time for the date to arrive, they bailed out on him. His efforts to obtain the sword were now useless if he couldn't use the sword.

'Its okay. Its totally okay. You'll be fine. You're in another world. In terms of levels, it's natural I'll start from the beginning. Nothing to regret about. I just need a goal and I'll work my way up. Totally okay. It's totally okay. It's not like I am a "weak" priest.'

In addition to the twelve movements of the dawn, there was an unexplored map in his storage, which was almost equivalent to GPS positioning but on a map. Except for the green area where he was currently standing, everything else was dark.

In addition, there was also a "master key" in his storage that could be used to open treasures and chests like a universal master. As he was engrossed checking out the "master key", his eyes suddenly landed on that…. That item called The Scared Ankh.

'Wait… what? I still got the Holy Ankh?'

Jonathan looked up at the sky as tears streamed down his face.

It appeared as if he wasn't totally abandoned. He still had hope. He still had a chance to survive.

[Sacred Ankh]: Randomly reborn in a random corner of the world after death, no death penalty.

Although the priest of the Holy Spirit had the resurrection technique to save people at his level but he couldn't save himself if he was dead.

It seemed like if there was some kind of god, he still favored Jonathan a bit. The idea caused him to burst into tears again. Although Ankh was terribly expensive that had nearly made him bankrupt he was still relieved. If he had the choice, he would have brought dozens of more Ankhs so that he could live with no fear.

Speaking of the skills he possessed, it could be said that at level 100, whether in the game or maybe in this reality (he wasn't sure but was still applying game logic to reality), was the ultimate self-resurrection technique where one could completely repair their body and bring back their soul. The only drawback was that it required a long period of time to be ever used again and it couldn't resist god like powers.

Even then, as long as he reached that level then he would have no worries. For now, if he could reach level 50 and learn the resurrection technique [Angel Tears], something unique to Holy Spirit Priests, he can easily form an unkillable party.

Other than the few things he found, the entire storage was empty.

Once done with the checkup, Jonathan nodded to himself as he took his first steps in this world. He knew there was only one thing he could do and that was level up.

'Wait a moment… the question is how do you level up with a priest whose attack power could be almost nearly ignored?'

Lost in his thoughts, he soon stumbled across a lake. There he found an iron horned rhinoceros covered in a steel plate like armor. With his [Eye of Insight], he looked at the creature.

[Iron Armored Rhinoceros] (Level 25): 800 HP

'It really pays that my skills are useful right now. I can at least plan things out.'

He knew that reality was different from games. In a game, the only way to beat a creature was to have higher attack power than the creature's defense value. And to defend against an attack you needed to have a higher defense value than the attack value. The game was all about numbers but in reality levels or numbers didn't matter that much. They could only serve as a reference. There was always a possibility of a level 1 person killed a level 100 person as both were human and both bled like normal in reality. There was no point in underestimating anyone.

Jonathan felt that he could easily be killed as he was a priest who was weak characters. His basic spell of [Holy light bullet] would only tickle the monster by the lake. If he did a direct confrontation, his end would surely not be good.

He needed to find another method to hunt monsters.
