Silent:
As the four of us enter my throne room, I see a single light turns on right above my chair. The rest of the lights and even the monitors are turned off so it's only my chair.
"Hello," Dr. Cho says, standing up and turning around. She eyes me the second she sees me. "I guess I was right all along. People, humans, will never stay loyal."
"Loyal," I repeat, " You're the one that betrayed me. You kicked me out of my own armor after taking control of it! You then tried to use it to harm innocent people! People that never did anything!"
"They destroyed my friends," Dr. Cho shouts back. "My only friends! I built these machines myself! From nothing more than leftover gears and wires! They talk! They sang! There were more friends with me than any other humans in my life! And what did the company do to them after finding them? They destroyed them! They called them creepy and scary-looking and destroyed them!"
"Enough," I shout, cutting off Dr. Cho with a swing of my hand. "You've gone too far, Cho! It's time we take you down."
"Oh really," Dr. Cho asks with a laugh. "Who's we? You and the OutCasts? OutCasts, let me ask you this. How can you possibly think it was okay to team up with this man? The man, who had been spying on you for months?"
"Spying on us," QuickShot repeats. "For months?"
"Is that true," Ms. Justcie asks.
"Of course it's true," Dr. Cho answers. She waves her arms, and her eyes start to glow. The monitors behind her turn on, revealing the hidden cameras in the OutPost. They show the four different rooms of the OutCasts, along with their living room and computer. "How do you think he was able to find the flash drive with reinforced steel recipes? How do you think he was able to design the armor to counteract all your moves? He had been watching all of you for months!"
"You bastard," SpeedBlade says from behind me.
I don't even need to turn around. I can already feel the hateful glares and spiteful stares of the three. Their eyes are burning a hole in me.
"How could you have spied on us for so long without us knowing," QuickShot asks.
"No," Ms. Justice says, "The question is how could you even think to spy on us?"
"You were my enemy," I answer, "I had to know what you four were up to so I could plan accordingly."
"Smart planning," Ms. Justice says. "Getting betrayed by Dr. Cho a part of the plan or was that something extra?"
"Listen," I say, "You can scream and shout at me later, but right now, right now, we have a common goal. To stop Dr. Cho and the Iron Fist Armor?"
"Where is the armor," SpeedBlade asks.
"Right here," Dr. Cho answers, her eyes glowing once more. We hear the sound of rockets coming up from above. Looking up, I see the bottom of the Iron Fist Armor as it falls toward us.
"Move," I shout, pushing everyone out of the way before jumping myself. The Iron Fist Armor lands and crushes the floor. As it lands, it sends a shockwave that hits me while in mid-air.
I fall to the floor, rolling for a bit before stopping. As I shake the blurriness from my head, I see as clear as day the bottom of the foot of the Iron Fist Armor. It looms over my head for a few seconds before falling.
SpeedBlade:
"SpeedBlade," QuickShot shouts, firing an arrow at Silent. The arrow burst into a net that wraps around Silent. Holding onto a rope in her hands, she throws it at me. "Run!"
I do as I'm ordered and run. With the rope tightly in my hands, I run and drag Silent behind me. I don't see it but I hear the giant suit of armor crushing the floor instead of Silent.
Silent screams as he throws the net off of himself.
"Thanks for the save," Silent says, pulling some bombs from his belts.
"You are not welcome," I say, watching as the suit of armor turns to face us. As it walks toward us, more lights turn on, revealing the many weapons Dr. Cho had added.
"I hate to say this," Silent says, "But I was right. Dr. Cho added a few things."
"That's a little more than a few things," Ms. Justice yells from behind the armor.
"I may have had only two hours," Dr. Cho says from up the stairs, "But with my power and skills, I can do a lot in a little time."
As the armor approaches Silent and me, I see something on its wrist.
"My sword," I scream, seeing my sword on the armor's wrist. "That armor had my sword!"
"You can pull it off after we take it down," Silent shouts, throwing the bombs at the armor. The bombs go off, exploding all over the armor but the armor doesn't seem bothered.
He walks through the smoke cloud and pulls back his hand. The same hand with my sword attached to it.
JumpStart:
"Come on," I say, typing away at the computer. "Come on. Come on. Where are you? Where are you? Uhh. Silent, you freaking bastard. You hid the program too well. Where did you put it?"
I wipe some water from the screen and shake it from my hand. I then search everywhere for the shut-off program Silent mentioned.
The screen is still cracked so it's a little harder to see but as far as I can tell, there is no shut-off program.
"If there's no shut-off program," I think, "Then how do we defeat the armor?"
Ms. Justice:
I run and jump in between Silent and the Iron Fist Armor. Holding up my shield as the Iron Fist shoots out its hand, I scream as I'm knocked into Silent. We both scream as we fall to the ground.
Silent is the first to push himself up. He offers me his hand.
"Are you okay," he asks. I take his hand and he pulls me up. As he does, I notice how my shield feels lighter.
"No," I cry, looking at my shield. "No. No!"
I take my shield off and look at it. Directly in the center of my shield is a narrow tear where the star should be.
"Your shield is destroyed," Dr. Cho says with a laugh. "Two of you are weaponless. One of you is so tired, she can barely stand. And the last of you is--Wait."
Dr. Cho stops laughing and looks at us.
"One of you is missing. JumpStart. The elf. Where is the elf?"
I scream as I jump and flip through the air. As I flip through the air, I use my shield and hits the Iron Fist Armor.
"He's working to take down your armor," I shout after slamming my shield on the floor. "Just like we are."
I then raise my shield to show Dr. Cho.
"My shield is damaged," I say, "But it's not broken. Exactly like all of us. Damaged but not broken."
